Justin Bieber released the short film for his new fragrance, The Key, this weekend—and from what we gather, once you purchase said perfume, the Biebs has full license to break and enter your room without any legal implications. Don't say we didn't warn you. Of course, if you like the idea of Justin waking you up at 3am on a Tuesday to go look at taxidermied animals and dance on a rooftop, then you're in luck. Maybe still sleep with a bat under your bed just in case, though. JK! No need to be scared. Justin Bieber will only sneak into your room to do fun things, according to his film.
A still from GoldieBlox's 'Princess Machine' commercial.

Holy smokes. Please look at this new video from the toy company GoldieBlox because it is EXCELLENT. Set to a remake of the Beastie Boys’ “Girls,” it features a Rube Goldberg machine (an overly-complicated contraption that relies on a sort of domino-effect to complete a simple task) that destroys tea sets, marabou feathers, dolls, a rolling pin, a see-saw, a badminton racket, and a parasol, delighting a crew of really frickin’ adorable girls. If you’re not familiar with the company, GoldieBlox was launched last year with help from a gobsmackingly successful Kickstarter campaign that raised $285,881; way over their $150,000 goal.
Founder and CEO Debbie Sterling, a Rhode Island native who studied engineering at Stanford, wanted to start a movement to “disrupt the pink aisle and inspire the future generation of female engineers,” attributing the discouraging lack of women in her profession to a dearth of maker-minded toys for girls. GoldieBlox features a book, a tool kit, and a construction set, with the book as a sort of Trojan Horse for girls who tend to be more verbally inclined (“boys like to build; girls like to read,” she says in her Kickstarter video).
Solange celebrates the release of 'Saint Heron' wearing teal Pumas.

Today in “duh” news, Puma rolled out a new ad campaign featuring four budding “It” girls who were all hand-picked and art directed by singer/eBay curator/Queen of Mixed Prints, Solange Knowles. OK, so her role in the campaign isn’t ~exactly~ what we imagined, but we’ve had a sinking suspicion for a while now that Solange proooobably had something in the works with the increasingly stylish shoe brand. (We just thought it’d be more along the lines of, like, being the face, err, foot of the ad, or perhaps designing some special edition print-heavy kicks.)
Katy Perry on set at her COVERGIRL shoot.

Now that Katy Perry is the newest face of COVERGIRL, she’s got some business to attend to. We imagine that includes things like experimenting with different shades of eye shadow, creating some sort of prismatic lip-illusion and just generally looking really pretty. Man, life as a COVERGIRL sounds hard, right? *sigh* But before she gets down to the nitty-gritty, Katy decided to have some fun by taking over the cosmetics giant’s Instagram account earlier today and only snapping photos of cats. JK! But that would have been hilarious.

Lady Gaga and Donatella Versace go way back. Like, all the way back to 2011, when Gaga borrowed a vintage Versace dress for her "Edge of Glory" music video. Flash forward two years later, and they're basically besties (and sometimes twinsies, depending on Gaga's wig du jour): they do lots of air kissing, they send each other extravagant flower arrangements and now, after Gaga penned an ode to Versace with her song "Donatella," rumor has it that Mother Monster is slated to be the face of the brand's spring 2014 ad campaign. Suddenly, there's a whole new meaning to the phrase "friends with benefits."
Obviously, the set of this potential shoot provides the perfect place for us to drop in for another installment of Fashion Fanfic. Because LBR: aren't you DYING to know what the two of them talk about?
“And zen I told her, ‘Jes! Of caars, of caars! It looks fabulous, it is amazing,’” Donatella explained to Gaga as the pair entered a cavernous London studio, arms linked. She exhaled a long drag of her cigarette and brushed a bleached blonde strand away from her face to survey the set. “Jes, this is fabulous.”
Gaga set down her meatball-inspired handbag (made to scale with real marinara) and beelined for the nearest garment rack (there were seven). “You know,” she started, “I just really want people to feel included in this ad, Donatella. I want this to be an all-inclusive ad. I want people to look at this ad and know that they’re not just looking at fashion or art—I want them to know that they’re looking at … a movement.”
Justin Bieber on set for his Adidas NEO photoshoot.
Photos: Adidasneolabel's YouTube Page
We've already seen the images for Justin Bieber's most recent Adidas NEO campaign, but now, thankfully, there's a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot, so we can peep moving JB in all his dancing/drumming/pose-striking glory. There's also a lot of reclining, like in his fall campaign, because dancing using only your shoulders is tiring.
Things that are unforgettable: your first kiss, your first concert, the first time you saw Harry Styles shirtless, your first job, your first love, the second time you saw Harry Styles shirtless, Christina Aguilera’s new perfume. (OK, so that last one was a smidge more literal than the rest.) Back in August, Xtina teased some “fragrance news” via Twitter with a mysterious photo that showed the bleach-blonde pop star shushing the camera in a sexy lace dress. And now we finally know alllll about it!
Rocky and Cara in Times Square.
Photo: Splash News
SCURRT! That would be the sound of breaks grinding to a halt, which was heard both inside AND outside our NYC office, as we caught wind that A$AP Rocky, Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn were shooting brand new ads for DKNY in the middle of Times Square yesterday. So much for those rumors about Rita Ora replacing her BFF, Cara, in the designer’s taxi cab campaigns, eh? Looks like there’s room for more than one pretty face in the DKNY family, which is really great news because we’d hate to see #FASHUN tear anyone apart.
Rita Ora for DKNY.
Rita Ora is straight-up having a BLAST in Times Square. Sure, Broadway plays are great and basking in the glow of those giant neon signs can definitely feel exciting, but Ora looks like she is having ALL of the fun in her brand new ads for DKNY Resort 2014 (which we got a glimpse of while the campaign was being shot this summer, right in our back yard). In one of the pics, Ora kicks back on a taxi in a double-denim outfit that is giving us serious ab-envy. We’ve seen several celebs attempt to rock the Texas Tuxedo, but seeing it on Rita (with a killer pair of cut-out pumps and coordinating leather jacket) might actually convince us to try it now. (Might.) Because if that’s the secret to looking cool, calm and collected on the big city’s busy streets, then sign us UP!
