Lauren Conrad Shows Off New Eco-Friendly Beauty And Travel Accessories Line

It's seems like FOR-EV-ER ago that we got wind of Lauren Conrad launching an eco-friendly cosmetic accessories collection with BlueAvocado, but the time has finally come—LC's new line has officially launched! Just this week The Hills star released a collection of sustainable and reusable products with BlueAvocado called XO(eco), which carries everything from cute food storage containers to on-the-go cosmetics bags and—get this—even a hot iron bag so you can pack your straightener in your luggage even if it's still piping hot. SMART.

Rihanna To Design Collection For River Island!

Breaking: Rihanna will be designing an exclusive collection for British clothing brand River Island, according to her website. SQUEEE. Rihanna said, "I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something really special." Ohmuhgawd our minds are about to explode. We don't know too much about collab JUST yet, but we do know that her capsule collection will launch in 2013. Time to start saving up!

Following the news that Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise late last week, this post-TomKat chapter is quickly shaping up to be a pretty prolific one for the actress. On top of landing a spot as cover girl Elle magazine's upcoming August issue, WWD reports that Katie and co-designer Jeanne Yang will make their New York Fashion Week debut this September.

Whether you've already gotten a head-start on your Independence Day festivities or you're about to embark on your star-spangled holiday soon, let Selena Gomez and her summer-ready snapshots be a style inspiration to us all. The screen starlette turned pop star turned celebrity designer modeled a nautical striped swimsuit and a pair of heart-shaped tortoiseshell sunnies from her summer Dream Out Loud collection for KMart. The sun-kissed look was perfectly complemented by her newly auburn ombre hair and minimal makeup. But her sartorial side project isn't the only thing Selena shared this weekend! *rubs hands together menacingly*

What Does Justin Bieber's 'Girlfriend' Perfume Smell Like?

If you were in the 3-foot radius of any teenage girl yesterday, you might know that Justin Bieber's sophomore fragrance Girlfriend just hit Macy's stores. Bieber told WWD on Monday that "Girlfriend is kind of a more mature version of Someday." While the adjective "mature" when referring to a scent is typically not used as a selling point (à la extra-mature cheeses and the like *shudders*), we're definitely interested to find out what exactly this perfume smells like. The fragrance is finally on shelves across the country, which means it's fair game for the testing, WHICH MEANS (as it so often does here at MTV Style) that it's time for an office-wide blind smell test to unpack Bieber's new scent. Because it's hot on the heels of his debut fragrance Someday, we decided there was no more opportune time to compare the two! We took unmarked samples of both (and some palate-cleansing coffee because we're consummate professionals) around the floor and took down reactions.

Get Your Kicks In Bon Iver Sneakers

Ever felt the urge to walk a mile in a rockstar's shoes? Well, now you can....kind of. Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon has just announced that he's teamed up with Los Angeles footwear brand KEEP on a fresh new style of sneakers. It's the second in a series of collabs for the company, who last recruited indie act Animal Collective to lend their creative juices last year on some high tops, low tops, and slip-ons. Sure, the idea is pretty awesome on its own, but here's the kicker (sorry, had to!). The sale proceeds will go to support Best Friends Animal Society, an advocacy group for abandoned animals, so you can look good AND do good at the same time. Oh, and here's another reason to score 'em: unlike like the Yeezy 2's, these sneaks retail for a decidedly more affordable $75. Ahem, hear that, Kanye?

Can we just say that summer looks reeeeeeally good on Selena Gomez? Okay, real talk, everything looks good on this girl, but the season of sun and skin appears to be where Sel is truly thriving. The Spring Breakers star graced New York City this weekend for the grand launch of her eponymously named fragrance. For the scent's ceremonious debut, Selena wore the most grade A-dorbz summer short suit, looking the perfect combination of summery fresh and fashion forward.

Ever since Spring Breakers wrapped, we haven't seen nearly as much of Selena Gomez as we'd like. Sel has been so hard at work filming her next project, seducing interior painters, and promoting her brand new eponymously named fragrance, that her personal photo feed (a.k.a. Twitter, a.k.a. our biggest window into her daily goings on, a.k.a. our LIFE BLOOD) has been relatively quiet. Hopefully, today is when all that changes as she puts on her designer/marketer hat to film the next commerical for her KMart collaboration, Dream Out Loud!

Beth Ditto Wants To Start The 'IKEA' Of Plus-Sized Clothing Lines

Whatever Beth Ditto's secret is for having so much energy, we want it...now. Seriously, the Gossip frontwoman has been making MAJOR moves lately, first rocking bedazzled eyebrows in the band's mod-inspired music video, and now talking about dream clothing collabs with New York Magazine. The musician has already worked on a fashion line before, with the U.K. company Evans, but, as she tells NYMag, there were logistical problems turning her designs around fast enough. Instead of partnering with a larger brand, Ditto admits she wants to do her own thing: "I really want to do my own line that’s ethically made, and I can do whatever the f*** I want with it." Um, her very own clothing line? Talk about a no-brainer. Especially given Ditto's love for sequins, sparkles, and all kinds of minidresses, we can't really think of anything better.
