Unless you've been living on an island completely alone/without internet/phones/anything but a coconut, you'd notice that Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience musical comeback also came with a serious style transformation. His precious ringlets have been replaced by a sleek pompadour and his rugged leather jacket and distressed jeans look has been swapped out for tailored suits and impeccable ties. And, according to a New York Times article that came out yesterday, you can thank Tom Ford for that. I mean, we already knew that Tom was behind JT's killer ensembles in his "Suit & Tie" video, but we didn't realize just how deep Mr. Ford's influence on Justin's look was. The article states that Justin "is in certain ways a Ford creation, right down to the modified pompadour. 'I happen to like the hair straighter,' said Mr. Ford." Oh, is that so, Tom? I mean, don't get us wrong—we're obsessed with JT's new Rat Pack makeover, but what does this mean for the all-American William Rast label that he launched in 2005?

In the land of sneaker wedges, the wedge-happy population (aka Wedgonians) bustles with excitement. Queen Isabel Marant happily rules the roost, while classic sneaker brands hold court with their own wedge variations. But anticipation lingers, for a new resident has joined the mix. Alicia Keys-Beatz has added to her already eye-popping collection of custom-themed classic Reeboks; by deftly adding a hidden wedge heel to the iconic Freestyle, she has created a remix that seems pretty flawless. We want. We want to walk down the street in them, we want to put our feet up on a desk in them, and we want to do jazzercise in them. The wedged-up kicks stay true to the original Freestyle design, featuring double straps, 3 collar puffs and Freestyle heel counters. We're really feeling the red, a throwback to the original one-color pop that brought Freestyles to mainstream ubiquity in the '80s.
Kristin Cavallari and pieces from her Glamboutique collection.

Friends, the time has finally come--Kristin Cavallari has launched her first-ever jewelry collection! Last fall, the former Hills girl announced that she'd be working with Glamboutique and business partner Pascal Mouawad (who helped launch Nicole Richie's House of Harlow label) to create a line of necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings that are all under $100. Lucky for us, her collection is officially available to purchase on the internet, so now we all can snatch up our favorite (and affordable!) K Cav-designed goodies. Some of our favorite pieces include the Pyramidia Layered Necklace ($35), which features three, gold-plated chains with a circle pendant, pyramid studs, and light blue beads. We're also OBSESSED with her punky-yet-girly Safety Pin Earrings ($15) that come in solid gold, lavender, light pink and sky blue. The best part is that she also created a super cool Safety Pin Necklace ($22) to match.

OK, so we already know there are about a zillion and one reasons out there to love Skrillex. His addictive dark, throbbing music (which we can soon hear in Spring Breakers, ahhh!). That signature half-shaved 'do, which has inspired an entire celeb fan following AND has even garnered its own name and hashtag, #Skrillexhair. His sleek, all-black personal style. While all of these traits are impressive, it's this undeniable steez that fits most perfectly with the artist's new gig, collaborating with denim giant G-Star. But while the producer has mostly stuck with scoring the brand's videos until now, we just got word that now he's dipping his hands into the design side of the biz with a brand new style of jeans. Get the scoop below!

We don't mean to be overly dramatic, but the world might have just ended. We all watched Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad's tumultuous relationship go down on Laguna Beach, but it seems as if the two have officially made amends. K Cav appeared in the February issue of Splash magazine wearing—gasp—a Paper Crown by Lauren Conrad dress! We don't want to put words in Kristin's mouth, but, um, she's kind of showing MAY-JUH support for LC by sporting a dress she designed in a mag for ALL to see (and she looks dang good in it). Kristin wore the black Jasper dress ($240), which features a fitted, sweetheart bodice and layered tulle skirt. She paired her frock with black Chinese Laundry pumps ($75) (I mean, duh, she has her own line, people), GORGE curly blonde strands, bold red lips, and shimmery bronze cheeks. But, like, what does this mean for the infamous twosome?
Rihanna's River Island co-designer Adam Selman at the Opening Ceremony RIHtrospective and a look he designed for Rihanna.
We're (obviously) HUGE fans of the magical music and fashion machine, but isn't it fun to peek behind the curtain every once in awhile? Rihanna for River Island is by far one of the years most anticipated celebrity design collaborations, and we were beyond excited to have a chance to chat with Rihanna's co-designer Adam Selman at the US launch of the line, and the corresponding "RIHtrospective," at Opening Ceremony. Not only did Selman help Rihanna with her River Island line, but he also designed and fabricated five of the seven looks on display. From Rihanna's pink lace Victoria's Secret Fashion show look to her white 2012 VMA dress (more on that in the video), there's no doubt that you'll recognize some of the looks in the RIHtrospective. When we dragged Adam down to the basement of Opening Ceremony during the lively launch event for both the retrospective and the collection, he answered all of our burning questions with a smile on his face and an expertise that made it totally obvious why he's Rihanna's go-to guy for all things fashion, along with her long-time stylist Mel Ottenberg. He ALSO gave us a couple of scoops about whether we can expect to see more Rihanna For River Island (!!!!), what it's like to work for Rihanna (think: Unicorns), and what his fave pieces of her wardrobe are. Watch the full video after the jump!
Rihanna at the launch of her River Island collection in London.
Amidst all of the excitement, the runway show and the campaign and all of that, we kind of forgot that the day was fast approaching that we would actually be able to BUY Rihanna's River Island collection for ourselves very soon. The collection is available in the US via Opening Ceremony today, but it also had its launch in the UK last night. Rihanna was in attendance at the London opening, rocking, of course, some choice cuts from her own collection. One of the most showstopping (and for some, eyebrow raising) pieces from the collection are the double denim overalls, which break down your traditional Osh Kosh classics to include crop top and a pair of jeans with a double waistband. Don't get what the heck we're saying, well Ri wore the non-traditional togs to her store opening last night, and we have to say she looks killer in them. Conjuring up some serious Aaliyah vibes, that's for sure. Rihanna styled the jeans not with the matching crop top but with a relaxed, cropped white tea and perfect dark purple lipstick. We're loving how her super glam, long hair adds some elegance to the otherwise street wear-leaning look.
Nicki Minaj and her Pink Friday perfume in the Duchess of Pink Couture by Minaj ensemble.

It's been a weird day, y'all. For some reason we just can't stop falling into the dark side of the internet (see: this), and when we heard the latest Nicki Minaj news, we knew it was officially time for the interwebs to call it quits. Everything started off so normal, too. Yesterday, Nicki tweeted, "UK Barbz, It's official. My Pink Friday fragrance launches @Selfridges on March 14th! I have something special 4U! Get ready #COUTUREBYMINAJ," to which we responded "YASSSS" out-loud directly at our computer screens. Then, she unveiled three Pink Friday perfume bottles (or so we thought) with new, decked-out designs. Now, if you haven't already seen her bottle, it's basically a gold bust of Ms. Minaj wearing a pink wig and white bustier. These new bottles had different ensembles than the original and were called "Duchess of Pink," "Starships Minaj," and "Whip It Like Minaj." So, we're like, "Oh! Cute! Three new limited-edition bottles will be sold exclusively at Selfridges starting mid March. Sweeeet." But, dear friends, we were so, so wrong.

As it turns out, we weren't crazy when we noticed Nicki Minaj's newly simplified style for 2013—Barbz fired her stylist and hairdresser for a seriously stylish new look, and it seems like her Kmart clothing line will likely follow suit. At a live press conference in Hollywood on Friday, Nicki answered all her fan's burning questions via ShopYourWay.com, and she said her collection is going to be filled with tons of "quality" pieces. "My big thing is that it cannot look cheesy and cheap, and that is what I want to give my beautiful Barbz." But that's just the beginning! Nicki filled us in on what her process will be like, what will be included in the line, and who will inspire her collection. Check out highlights from the press conference below!
L-Boy in Odd Future's Spring/Summer 2013 lookbook.

Nothing makes me pine for spring (and summer!) harder than a short-sleeved button-up shirt covered in hot air balloons. Also, heart-shaped sunglasses, but those aren't actually part of the Odd Future collection. New England readers beware, you're in for some serious coast envy. The OFWGKTA hip-hop collective (which also maintains a rapidly growing streetwear line and shop based on Los Angeles' infamous Fairfax Avenue) has just released a brand spankin' new lookbook for the Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The photo series stars Lionel, Lucas, and more of OF's closest friends modeling OF's newest togs, from this here balloon woven shirt to the classic cat-emblazoned designs (like this Trash Wang tee) that we've grown to know and love.
