Madonna at the screening of "W.E." in London; a bottle of "Truth or Dare by Madonna."

The Queen of Pop, aka Her MADGEsty, aka the top-selling female recording artist of ALL time, aka Madonna is launching a fragrance entitled Truth or Dare by Madonna, named for her life's ethos and her 1991 tour documentary of the same name. Bottled in a minimal white bottle with a gold cap and logo bearing an "M" and a cross (vintage Madge right there), the fragrance mixes wood and vanilla with a "narcotic floral" scent, which sounds both dangerous and sleep-inducing. Not to suggest a spritz of this will knock us out or anything, but, WAIT, what exactly does this mean?

Ryan Gosling wearing his favorite 3.1 Phillip Lim leather jacket.
Photo: Courtesy of GettyImages/3.1 Phillip Lim

Buried in an unseen crevice of a recent interview with U.K.'s Independent, we're made privy to news that the beloved movie star slash heartthrob Ryan Gosling may be pulling a Franco and moonlighting as a leather designer. Wedged between accounts of his childhood raised by women and charmingly self-chiding remarks is this morsel of a hint:

“I’m just so sick of myself. I can’t imagine how everyone else feels. And there’s just nowhere to go but down really from here. So, hey, it’s been nice. It’s been real.” He laughs hard, puts on his grey, self-designed leather jacket and feigns leaving, with some good reason."

*cue the double take* YUP. You read that correctly. "Self-designed leather jacket." And a GRAY one, at that? *swoooooooon* He just doesn't QUIT with the impeccably unexpected man-taste, does he??

Theophilus London visits the AXE Lounge in Southampton at AXE Lounge on July 23, 2011, in Southampton, New York.
Photo: Eugene Gologursky/Getty Images

Brooklyn electro-rap sensation Theophilus London is one of our fave male style slayers. The dude's penchant for CRAYola color combos, sharp suit jackets, and accessories GAH-LORE continues to demand our attention (and steal our heartz) every time he's photographed out on the town. He's frequently seen wearing any manner of hat—be it wide-brimmed or duck-billed (he even manages to make a cowboy hat look cool)—as well as multiple chains, so it comes as no surprise that he's designing a hat and jewelry line of his own. In a recent interview with Vogue Italia, he talks about the inspirations behind the LVRS hat label and yet-to-be-titled men's and women's jewelry line that draws inspiration from animals and (GRANDMA GASP!) costume jewelry.

Anderson Cooper The Row Backpack

Anderson Cooper on Sept. 17, and the infamous alligator backpack from The Row.

Ever since Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen launched a handbag collection for their luxury apparel line The Row, they have one particular item that people can't seem to stop talking about—the alligator backpack. This bad boy, made of actual alligator skin, sells for $39,000, and it *gasp* SOLD OUT. Trust us, we weren't the only ones surprised by this news. CNN news anchor (and cutie pie) Anderson Cooper dedicated an entire "RidicuList" segment to the Olsen's bag, comparing the price of the backpack to the average starting salary for a teacher. He then followed up that statement with, "Yes, you may weep now." Ouch. Anderson went on to say that the Olsens are "nice, cool people," but he still doesn't see how one bag could be comparable to the price of a brand-new Nissan Sentra. Now, you can't critique a pricey alligator backpack without giving us a cheaper alternative, right? RIGHT. And Anderson did JUST that! (Imagining him doing market research is just too CUTE for us to handle.) So...what did he pick out? Did he do The Row bag justice? Let's find out!

Ke$ha

It's obvious from Ke$ha's personal and particularly unique sense of style (I mean, who else wears a shark on their face? Yeah. That's what I thought.) that she's ALL about expressing herself. But for all the feathers, glitter, and pantslessness, the pop singer also has a message. Ke$ha recently paired up with the Human Rights Campaign, which strives to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans, to make an UH-MAZING tee in celebration of National Coming Out Day on Oct. 11. HRC hopes the tee will "encourage everyone to celebrate their inner superstar and come out for equality." Let's take a closer look at that tee.

You can't see their faces, but you should know by those unmistakable strawberry-blonde locks and identical statures that this is Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen in Star Wars Halloween costumes (Stormtropper and Darth Vader, to be specific). The twin actresses turned fashion moguls have just rolled out a Halloween quiz for their T-shirt line/site StyleMint (which ends in a discount code if you answer everything correctly!) and in the series of interactive YouTube videos, the sisterly duo dons a few awesomely geek-chic costumes to keep things festive while you work your way through the questions.

Earlier this summer we got a TEENY sneak peek into Snooki's sandal collection by peeping her super Snookified hot pink sequin flip-flops (yes, the ones with pickles on them), and luckily, friends, those bad boys were just the WEE tip of the iceberg. The Jersey Shore star posted her entire sandal and flip-flop line on Facebook, and whewwww boy! There's a whole lotta goodies in store. While the collection hasn't actually hit stores or online yet, take a peek at all her looks below to see which pair you want to snatch up!

Chains, bows, and animal print? No surprises here! Snooki stocked up on ankle sandals in every color pattern possible—black chain-link gladiators with jaguar print on the inside, brown cheetah ankle cuff thongs, and girly canvas ankle-wrap bow sandals that come in zebra print or green and beige. We could see Snooks sporting these when she's feeling more au naturel and subdued in a work-casual ensemble.

Kanye West Paris Fashion Week

Kanye West Presents 'Dw' womenswear collection at Paris Fashion Week on October 1, 2011.

God. I wonder what Kanye West is feeling right now given that I am deeeeepleted that weeks of wild speculation and rune casting and Google alerting and Twitter/Tumblr stalking has finally come to an end with the unveiling of his first womenswear collection at Paris Fashion Week. He probably feels pretty great. The thing about this show is that opinions will diverge and reviews will run the gamut from effusive to scathing because there is no way to sequester the entire world from the Internet and this man's megafame. Dicey territory from which to judge a show. Plus, nevermind the crazy levels of clout in his front row that draws even more attention.

According to this Associated Press report from the scene, Kanye was nervous, repeating, "I'm so scared," after which he stated that he just wanted to end the "celebrity designer" qualifier.

In attendance were a number of notable bold names--Anna Wintour, Carine Roitfeld, Azzedine Alaia, Olivier Theyskens, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Lindsay Lohan, Terry Richardson, Jared Leto. Ciara, who sat front row and wore a fox fur stole (solidarity?), also told MTV News how much she empathized with the level of scrutiny Kanye was under. "It was definitely one of the most talked-about events [of Paris Fashion Week]," she said. "This doesn't happen every day, and to see someone like Kanye, who aspires to succeed in fashion, to get so much respect and cross over like this, it was monumental. It was an historic moment."

Jeremy Scott who was also prominantly placed mentioned how the collection echoed Kanye's impeccable taste as a student and genuine fan of design.

To wit: there are definitely echoes of influence throughout. Granted, this was overall, a collection of American sportswear. Clean. Marketable (though we'll know more once we see the pricepoint). And sexy. But there were whispers of Issey Miyake in the delicate pleats (both amorphous and sculpted), hints of Helmut Lang in the stark simplicity and palette but there was nothing that displayed too much of a barrier to entry in terms of silhouettes. We are not talking 1,800 bolts of shantung and 4,300 fish scales for a hat with a veil here.

Invitation to Kanye West's Paris Fashion Week show.
Photo: Courtesy of Materialiste

Guys. It's happened. Invitations to Kanye West's forthcoming Paris Fashion Week debut have OFFICIALLY been dispatched. AAAAAAND on this all caps, sans serif, ELEGANT IN ITS AUSTERITY invite there is so much information to parse. First up, we have the cryptic "Dw" inscription at the tippy top of the invite. While we can't confirm whether this is the name of Ye's line or collection, the chatter around the fash-community seems to favor a rumor that the initials stand for Kanye's mother, Donda West (which for the record, we think is a wonderful homage).

The other MAJOR piece of news we get from this invitation is (FINALLY) the location. The proverbial "X" on the map of Paris that we've all been crazily speculating about FOR WEEKS. Now, we can know for sure where one of this Fashion Week's most-anticipated shows is taking place and GOOGLE MAP IT (because duh).
