A still from Tyler, The Creator's "Tamale" music video.

Last night, Tyler, The Creator released a music video for his Wolf banger "Tamale." As always, the four-and-a-half minute short is visually stunning, and as always, Wolf Haley finds a way to weave in his Golf Wang designs. (Real talk, if I were a rapper who made and sold clothes, I'd wear them in my videos, too.) The different with "Tamale," though, is that dude (from what we can tell) ALL Golf Wang for the duration of 8 outfit changes from this collegiate donut snapback to the Flog Gnaw beanie and box cutter tee he wears to close out the video. It's basically like a video lookbook for the Fall/Winter 2013 Golf Wang collection.
Nicki Minaj on set for her Kmart Collection shoot.

Nicki Minaj is “super, super excited” about her Kmart Collection and (duh) SO ARE WE. Barbz, it’s been almost two months since Her Minajesty revealed the first looks from her new line, and now—only a day away from its online launch—we’re still getting sneak peeks of never-been-seen-before outfits. GAH. Now, we have to change our whole shopping strategy. THANKS A LOT, NICKI. Earlier today, Minaj tweeted out some behind-the-scenes footage from her Kmart photoshoot (set to her single with Mavado, “Give It All To Me”) and we spied not one, but TWO, new hot pink outfits for two ~very~ different occasions.
The first is a matching two-piece hooded sweatsuit, appropriate for both chilling AND (if you add heeled booties and a studded cap, à la Nicki) very stylish errand running. Or maybe brunch. You do you. The second is a hot pink blazer and high-waisted, body-con skirt combo, perfect for distracting dudes in business meetings (although, probably not suitable *puns* for every office).
Well, well, well. It seems as if M.I.A. is a lady of her word! (Not that we ever doubted her, of course.) Granted, it was starting to feel a little bit “girl who cried Medusa head” after the rapper first alluded to her Versus Versace collab in November of last year, gave us radio silence about the alleged line for ten months, and then spilled another confirmation of the project to an unsuspecting WWD reporter during Paris Fashion Week. Oh and BTW, she said last month that not only would it happen, but it was on its way out in two weeks. We were all like, SCURRT! Pump the breaks. TWO WEEKS? That sounds cray. Cray but true, we’ve learned, as the collaboration was officially announced by Versace today and is set to hit shelves on October 16th. (OK, so technically more like 3 weeks, but we’ll let it slide because GIMME.)
Rihanna is ready to rock.

We thought we were well-versed on the topic of the Robyn Rihanna Fenty-produced show, Styled To Rock, but, boy, how things have changed. The show, which was originally set to air on the Style Network on November 5th, has been switched to debut on Bravo on October 25th. YAAAS! Rihanna-approved #FASHUN sooner? We likey.
The show had already promised famous mentors, including longtime RiRi stylist, Mel Ottenberg, model Erin Wasson, and some guy named Pharrell (yeah, IDK either, JK I DO), but this new preview gives us a taste of the celeb guest judges we can expect to see and, dang, there are a lot.

According to M.I.A, yes, she has a collaboration with Versace, and, oh, NBD, it's coming out in two weeks. She apparently confirmed the news to a WWD reporter at the Balenciaga show this morning, simply saying, "I have a collaboration with Versace coming out in two weeks." M.I.A announces a collaboration with Versace the same way the rest of the world announces they're going to get a turkey sandwich for lunch: offhandedly and with no follow-up. But, HELLO, M.I.A, we need follow-up.
Jay Z's collaborating with Barneys.

Dads: notoriously hard to shop for. Luckily, this holiday season, those rumors that Jay Z might to team up with Barneys are true! AND Hov asked some of his fave designers to design exclusive pieces for his "New York Holiday" collection. So long, ties! See ya, shaving kits! Hello, Balmain scarves and Balenciaga leather backpacks. Jay tapped a number of high fashion labels including Lanvin, Rick Owens, Proenza Schouler, and Acne to design pieces in a black, white, gold, and silver color scheme. Subtle, but shiny. Jay also designed some collection pieces, including
watches timepieces, and a cigar box humidor.
Kanye West is probably (definitely) talking about fashion in this still from his BBC Radio 1 interview with Zane Lowe.

KANYE WEST LOVES #FASHUN. You may have gathered this if 1.) You are a fan or 2.) Decided to tune into his interview with Zane Lowe last night. In fact, West talked mostly about fashion, which made us feel many feelings. Here, as told by GIFs, are some of the feelings we felt. (BTW, you can listen to the full interview here. Or watch it below.)
ON THE BIRTH OF LEATHER JOGGING PANTS
"I brought 10 years of product that has added to humanity. And now, where's the culture at?! So then, I scream, and I'm sitting in the middle of it. Whether I'm at a dinner with Anna Wintour, or I'm at a listening session with Pusha, or me and Virgil are in Rome giving designs to Fendi over and over and getting our designs knocked down. We brought the leather jogging pants six years ago to Fendi, and they said, 'No.' How many m************ you done seen with a jogging pant?"
Wiz Khalifa wearing a hat from his Flat Fitty collection.

It may only be September, but it's never too early to start thinking about holiday shopping, right? Wiz Khalifa has you covered (literally) this holiday season: he's collaborating with Flat Fitty for a cap collection that drops around Holiday 2013. The collab won't be limited to winter, though. Wiz will reportedly be designing hats each season, so if you know someone with a birthday in, say, June, Wiz will have a new hat for you to gift.
Lauren Conrad shifts her focus back to Paper Crown.

Lauren Conrad is a MACHINE. Like, she might actually be battery-powered. Or is at least fueled by vegetable oil (which would also explain how her hair is always SO SHINY). JK she’s a real human, duh. But considering that she juggled like, a billion different projects this summer alone, she’s kiiiiind of making the rest of us humans look like under-achievers. THX, LC. First, she rolled out her first-ever bedding collection. Next, she debuted her LC Lauren Conrad summer line for Kohl’s (adorbs), then she was like, “BTW, I’m also launching an artisanal e-commerce website that is, like, super charitable.” (True statement, though not an actual quote.) So now, after a VERY successful summer, you’d think the girl would want a break, right? Wellllll ...
Drake has been REALLY excited about words lately. I mean, the man can’t stop wearing them. Remember that big hookah party scene in the “Started From The Bottom” video when Drizzy and his whole posse were wearing shirts emblazoned with the song title? (Words.) And then there was that time when he wore his “Nothing Was The Same” baseball jersey on the red carpet at the VMAs. (Words.) And that photo (above) from his Instagram last week? OK, you get the gist. Basically, he’s been wearing giant word prints for a while now, and TBH, it’s not a terrible way to pump people up about your new material—especially when logo-mania is having a major #FASHUN moment.
