Zoe Saldana for "Cosmopolitan For Latinas."

Big news, guys! The already saucy Cosmopolitan Magazine is coming out with an entirely separate glossy put together specifically for Latina women. The premiere issue of Cosmopolitan For Latinas (what else did you think it was going to be called?) hits stands May 1 (less than a week!) and features the lovely Miss Zoe Saldana as their first ever cover girl.
Beyonce is named World's Most Beautiful Woman by "People Magazine."

In a not-all-that-surprising turn of events, People Magazine has awarded Beyonce with their annual "World's Most Beautiful Woman" title. We say we're not surprised, not with any intention of cheapening her accomplishment, but because hello, have you SEEN Beyonce? The mother of Blue Ivy is radiant and positively glows from the inside out, not to mention her fashion and beauty game is always on point (as she has made us so aware with new Tumblr. In conjunction with the high honor, People features a full fashion editorial spread with Bey in their latest issue.
We see it time and time again: stars wearing the visages of other stars across their t-shirts. Pauly D wore a Nicki Minaj tee. Willow Smith sported TWO crewneck homages to her Poppa Will in one week. And let's not forget Selena Gomez's stan-tastic Taylor Swift concert shirt. It's this brain-petting "They're just like us!" fashion moment that reminds us that celebrities aren't contained in a content-pumping vaccuum and are totally fans of other artists to the point where they would gladly/humbly parade their FACE across their own chest. Latest up at bat in the t-shirt homage game is Demi Lovato wearing a tank screenprinted with Rihanna's face in the latest issue of Fabulous Magazine.
Scarlett Johansson for "Vogue."

Hot on the heels of last night's L.A. premiere of Marvel's The Avengers, Vogue has just revealed their May issue cover girl: Scarlett Johansson. The Girl With A Pearl Earring turned action heroine is ravishing in this old Hollywood-inspired shoot with soft finger waves, deep red lips, and luxurious floor-length ensembles. ScarJo co-stars with fellow Avenger Mark Ruffalo for many of the inner page snaps, as well as a different kind of scene-stealer: a fully-grown LEOPARD, seen above toted on a leash.
With all things LOUCHE and EXOTIC parading before our eyeballs in this shot (I meannn, silk Vionnet dress + perfectly matching over-the-elbow Gaspar gloves + Delfina Delettrez jewels + Judith Leiber clutch + MASSIVE FELINE), our brains are momentarily working in overdrive to compute it all. We're too engaged with the beautifully alien perfection of Scarlett's hourglass shape, the spatial intelligence riddle that is that cape-sleeved gown with full-length gloves and the indeterminate location to take any good hard looks at that suspect jungle cat.
It's unsurprising that Zac Efron is on the cover of Men's Health. The magazine is pretty straightforward and their covers always feature a 3/4-length shot of some guy being all clenched, taut and suitably ripped. It's the sort of thing that Chris Hemsworth would do. Or either Taylor (Kitsch or Lautner). Everybody has 2% body fat and that's cute for them. It's a pectoral festival.
For the most part though, they're pretty easy to ignore. They're not my jam (the coverlines are lulz). EXCEPT THAT MAYBE THIS ONE IS VERY MY JAM. Why does Zac Efron look so... so beautiful here? Like, what IS THAT enormous muscle ripple on his arm that looks like a giant, cartoon spermatozoa that's rising at least an inch and a half in relief? Hmm... that sounds horribly suggestive and I guess that's my point. I am appalled at how attracted to him I am. It's allowed for you guys to lust after this guy, you're all tiny babies born in the '80s and '90s. I remember Zac Efron WHEN HE WAS A CHILD. It was not that long ago. At least as a ratio of my years
Justin Bieber for "Seventeen."

There no better time than now to be a Justin Bieber fan. It seems like everywhere you look, the 18-year-old is doing serious promo for his new album Believe, new single "Boyfriend", and host of other endeavors near and dear to the singer. As if rumors of Biebs recording with One Direction weren't already enough to erupt the minds of ladybabies worldwide, the "Never Say Never" singer is also Seventeen's latest cover boy for the mag's "Freebie Issue" alongside cover girl Chloe Moretz!
Zooey Deschanel in the May issue of 'Marie Claire.'

New Girl Zooey Deschanel has a new look! The sitcom star ditched her typically-twee bright outfits for edgier, darker ensembles in Marie Claire's May issue, and we like it. I mean, we're practically goth, AND we live in New York City so we have a huge soft spot for all-black ensembles, but seriously, we're loving the more mysterious side of Zooey. Instead of sporting her signature soft waves and crimson red lips, she tousled up her jet black hair and wore smudgy smokey eyes for a rock'n'roll-meets-mod bedhead vibe we CANNOT deny. For her ensemble, she donned a body-conscious shimmery beaded Hervé Léger by Max Azria shift dress with black tights, studded Valentino Garavani ankle boots, and a thick silver chain choker (which are actually bracelets worn as a necklace!). We never thought we'd see the day that our ol' Zooey decided to go goth, but we are sooo on-board.
Just when we think Lana Del Rey can't look ANY more perfect, she tweets a photo of her latest magazine takeover for Glamour Paris, and now we're basically dead. First off, we've never seen this, erm, side of Lana before. I mean, quite literally we've never really focused on the singer's backside because her face alone is enough to stop most people dead in their tracks (those lips! Those lashes!). But we're SO on board with Ms. Del Rey showing off her assets in the most cutesy of ways. She sported high-waisted metallic silver shorts (which we lovingly refer to as "shunderwear") paired with a subtly sexy sheer pink blouse and oversized white lace collar. She channels total pin-up perfection with her long chestnut waves pulled to the side in a delicate bow, sultry dark eyes, light lips, and strong brows. She added a pop of color with crimson red satin platform stilettos and finished the whole look with a smize so hypnotizing we can barely turn away.
We literally high-fived in the MTV Style office when we found out that Teen Vogue's May cover girl was Katy Perry. We think she's the perfect gal to grace the pages of a young, fash-forward mag because she's always taking fun style risks while keeping her confidence in check. In one of our favorite images from the spread (seriously, this could be an ad campaign!), Katy channels her inner vintage vixen in a black and white polka dot Oscar de la Renta dress and black heels. She also sported a birdcage Victoria Grant headpiece over her twisted back bright blue 'do (which matches her nails!) for a throwback feel we're seriously loving. Katy's modern-meets-pinup style is definitely reflected in her fashion icons. She told Teen Vogue, "I love Agyness Deyn, Chloë Sevigny, Daphne Guinness, Natalie Wood, Judy Jetson, and Wonder Woman." She continued, "I'm still doing the pinup thing, but now when I do it, I want to be the pinup of the future, like Rachael in Blade Runner. But I've always been quirky—it probably started when I was nine years old, and my father used to wake me up at seven every Saturday morning to take me to garage sales. I couldn't afford the clothes that the other girls at school were wearing, so instead I looked for things that were unique to me." Ahhh, now it's all starting to make sense!
Rihanna on the May cover of 'Elle' magazine.

We will never get tired of seeing our girl Rihanna on the cover of fash mags because she's ALWAYS switching up her look. Whether she's sporting nothing but dirt and leaves (which still blows our mind) or is completely covered in accessories, we're always oohing an ahhing over her ever-changing appeal. This month she graces the cover of Elle magazine wearing a head-to-toe studded pale yellow lambskin Versace ensemble styled by The City's Joe Zee! Her moto jacket, bandeau top, and high-waisted skirt are all AMAZING pieces on their own, but put together it creates a head-turning look that we can't help but drool over. For accessories, she sported stacked David Yurman bracelets and layered silver necklaces—plus a body harness underneath that bandeau. Her beauty game is unreal per ushe. She rocked a soft, layered blonde 'do with sweeping bangs and grown-out roots for a touch of badassness we're really into. She also wore a pop of pale pink on her lips paired with dark brows and long burgundy nails.
