Rihanna shopping in Sydney, Australia, on Mar. 2 and at her Reb'l Fleur fragrance launch in Lakewood, Calif., on Feb. 18.

While store-hopping today in Sydney, Australia, singer Rihanna debuted a new 'do (which, if you weren't aware, is probably a wig). The statement-making toasty red mane featured long, sleek layers, and heavy, lash-skimming bangs. Personally, we think it's a wee bit too much hair for the singer's petite heart-shaped face. HELLO...Who doesn't wish to wake up with her hazel eyes and lashes-to-there? So we don't get why RiRi is just covering them up with hair, and more hair. But, we suppose, that's the good thing about a wig—here today, gone tomorrow. What do you think?

Emma Stone and January Jones at the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner in Los Angeles on Feb. 26.
Photo: Getty Images

While we see celebrities dressing alike all the time (trendsetters unite!), it's rare to see two stars rock the same look on the same day at the same event. But that's exactly what happened when actresses Emma Stone and January Jones popped by the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-Oscar Dinner in Los Angeles on Feb. 26. Both celebs wore a crisscross black halter dress by Chanel with a cropped jean jacket. Emma teamed her shift and topper with black peep toes, a mini-purse, and a black cuff, while January chose Elizabeth and James denim for her lacier version. We love the collarless jacket that Emma chose, which helps show off the unique neckline of the dress, but what's your take?

+ Who caught your eye in Chanel—Emma Stone or January Jones?

Hosting the Oscars is no easy task. And we're just talking about the outfit changes! Anne Hathaway, who cohosted the 83rd Annual Academy Awards last night with nominee James Franco, went through eight stunning looks throughout the evening, all while singing, dancing, and laughing at Franco's deadpan jokes. The actress (who is the youngest person to ever host, by the way) definitely deserves kudos for that! Here's the look-by-look...

RED CARPET ALERT: Anne was one of a handful of celebs who chose red for the red carpet. Her pick, this Valentino tube dress with some serious bustle action going on. To drive the crimson theme home, the actress painted her nails and pout in the hue.

SNOW QUEEN: For her opening monologue Anne wore a white strapless flowing number with beading by Givenchy. Oh, and Anne, don't think we didn't notice that you changed your nail polish from red to nude!

BOYS CLUB: James Franco wasn't the only one to wear a tux onstage. Anne slipped into the feminine Lanvin number with satin lapels for her brief sing-song. She paired the sexy suit with glittering Swarovski crystal-covered Brian Atwood pumps.

GREY GARDEN: Rumor has it that this princess-style gown was custom designed for Anne by Vivienne Westwood. The actress teamed the taffeta and lace corseted frock with a fancy pants diamond and amethyst necklace.

SHIMMY-SHIMMY: This one-shoulder silver beaded embroidered gown by Oscar de la Renta may have been Anne's personal favorite. With all of its tassels, she couldn't help but dance. Totally understandable. P.S. We wouldn't have minded seeing her hair coifed like this—wavy and carefree—for the entire show.

BRICK HOUSE: Anne showed off her amazing figure in this brick-colored Atelier Versace silk gown, which featured a body-hugging, corset-style bodice.

PURPLE REIGN: This luminescent and satin-y sapphire Armani Privé evening gown features off-the-shoulder straps, a fitted bodice and a high back slit. We are dying to know what color/brand lipstick Anne is wearing here. Anyone? Anyone?

ALL THAT GLITTERS: To close the night, Anne slinked into a skintight Tom Ford lace long-sleeve dress, which was adorned with mesmerizing crystals, and pulled her hair into a low party-ready bun.

The red (er, fuschia) carpet at Sunday night's 83rd Annual Academy Awards (aka the granddaddy of all awards shows) featured a handful of classic fashion hits (trains, bustles, etc.), plus a slew of surprise ensembles (who knew so many celebs would rock red?!). Here are the looks we’ll be talking about ALL week long…

MILA KUNIS: Black Swan star Mila Kunis brought the glamor in a lacy lilac Elie Saab gown, which she wore with Neil Lane jewelry. J'ADORE!

MICHELLE WILLIAMS: Michelle Williams, who was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Blue Valentine, balanced the conservative cut of her champagne Chanel gown with head-to-toe encrusted crystals.

Nicki Minaj on the cover of 'BlackBook.'
Photo: Courtesy of Andrew MacPherson/BlackBook

"Weird." It's Nicki Minaj's word—not ours—and she used it to describe herself in her cover story for the March issue of BlackBook magazine. “When I started making those weird voices, a lot of people told me how whack it was,” said the 26-year-old rapper. "I'm definitely playing a role. I'm an entertainer, and that's what entertainers do. That's what people pay for. They don't pay to see me roll out of bed with crust in my eyes, and say, 'Hey guys, this is me, authentic.' They pay for a show." And what an incredible show it has been—especially in the fashion department. Check out the myriad of looks Nicki was able to rock for the cover story with a curly-fro wig and a rackful of designer threads...

Katy Perry arrives at radio one on Sept. 2, 2010, in London alongside FredFlare's polka-dot Katy dress, a fabric brooch from Avalaya and a belt by J. Crew.
Photo: Jack/FilmMagic

We love it when a fashionista takes a garment and makes it her own. Which is exactly what Katy Perry did with this navy polka-dot frock, originally made by Wheels & Dollbaby. The side slit, belt, and flower pin were not included in the original look, but we think those details are exactly what make the outfit stand out on the gorgeous singer. If you want to steal Katy's DIY style, start with the polka-dot Katy dress ($64, FredFlare.com). Add a colorful touch like this Large Red Fabric Rose Brooch ($17.11, Avalaya.com). Then, cinch your waistline like Katy did, with something like this pin-slim patent belt in alabaster ($29.50, JCrew.com). And of course, don't be afraid to pull out a pair of scissors to tailor the look to your own liking (a slit to there...hello!).

Olivia Palermo at the Matthew Williamson and Mulberry Salon fashion shows in London on Feb. 20, at the Rachel Roy Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week show in New York on Feb. 15.
Photo: Getty Images/WireImage

The City alum Olivia Palermo has been piling on the layers, wearing everything (but the kitchen sink) to fashion shows from New York City to London...and we sort of love it! For the Matthew Williamson show on Feb. 20 in London, Olivia went cowgirl in a knitted turtleneck, furry cream coat, Topshop pleated maxi skirt and a fedora. That same day she sat front row at the Mulberry fashion show wearing a flippy miniskirt, scoop neck tee, tan blazer, caramel Mulberry leather jacket, gray lace-up heels, and an animal print Mulberry bag...whew! While in New York City a few days earlier, Olivia popped by the Rachel Roy fashion presentation just as covered up in a tailored coat, leather skirt, leopard print lace-ups, and a ton of fur. A TON.

+ Do you like Olivia Palermo's layered look? Or, is it just too much?

Britney Spears in 'Hold It Against Me.'
All Photos: Courtesy of Jive Records

She's baaaaaack! Britney Spears' new Jonas Åkerlund-directed music video, "Hold it Against Me," premiered Thursday night (watch it below!). With a distinct sci-fi vibe, the clip opened with a meteor falling to earth from outer space. Then Brit is shown prepping for a photo shoot, which quickly turns into a wild and crazy dance party. Granted, Ms. Spears' moves were a little less boom-boom-pow than Britney's moves circa "Hit Me Baby One More Time." But, we won't hold it against her. Check out the video below, look by look...

Britney's looking awfully svelte in her fishnets and half-shirt. But the dancer with the purple undies and striped socks just might have the edge.

Upon closer inspection, the neon yellow layered necklace around Brit's neck is FIRE!

Oh, you might not want to mess with this crooner—check out her hip arsenal.

Here comes the bride...all dressed in white. The pop star is shown wearing a monstrous white ball gown, floating through a room full of video screens that displays her past videos. "Hit Me Baby One More Time"!!!

With the twinkling wedding gown (is it a wedding gown?), Britney rocks three cuffs on each arm, plus a serious statement necklace.

Brit-Brit's fingers shoot out paint!! Yeah, we'll get to that later. Side note: The singer's lashes look AMAZING!!

Kiss-kiss, claw-claw. Britney rocks faux talons with her red Yasmen Hussein for Swarovski Runway Rocks top. This still puts us in the mindset of Kanye West's "Runaway."

About mid-video, the singer physically beats up a glamorous clone of herself (both were wearing B. Akerlund). There's gotta be some meaning behind THAT.

If only we could all look so pretty (red lipped and every hair in place) while kicking butt!

Britney showed off these insane purple-y XTC stiletto heels during a fight scene.

No matter how old Britney gets, dancing is in her blood, and here she wore a B. Åkerlund design with Tom Binns jewelry while getting down.

Brit-Brit teamed her bustier top and booty shorts with bedazzled knee-high leather boots. Get it, girl!

Remember those paint guns attached to Brit's fingers? Well, this is what happens when you play with paint in a white dress. But personally, we like the wedding dress better now that it's covered in a rainbow of colors.

Vanessa Hudgens at the Marchesa, Anna Sui, Jeremy Scott, and Yigal Azrouël Fall 2011 Fashion Week Shows in New York on Feb. 16
Photo: Getty Images

If there's one celeb that's DOING IT UP during New York Fashion Week, it's Vanessa Hudgens. On Feb. 16, the actress was spotted at Marchesa in a red ruffled shift, at Anna Sui in patterned bell-bottoms, at Jeremy Scott in a fitted black minidress, AND at Yigal Azrouël in a slate cocktail dress. Oh, but that's not all! On Feb. 14 and 15, the High School Musical alum was seated front row at Tibi in a glittery blazer, at Diesel in a maroon leather minidress, at Marc Jacobs in an oversize blush blazer, and at Alice + Olivia in black tights and a sleeveless tunic. Looks like there's no rest for the weary during Fashion Week. But kudos to Vanessa for making sleep deprivation look so good.
