The next time we need an A-line skirt with three-quarter-length sleeves or opaque tights, we know where to go. British singer/songwriter Adele, whose second studio album 21 will launch on Feb. 22 (it came out in the UK on Jan. 24), has an affliction to the classic pieces. But it's a good thing—the twirly dresses and trendy leggings look great on her curvy physique! We love how this redheaded soul crooner, whose sound is said to be inspired by Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald, often teams her frocks with flirty flats, knee-length toppers and cute updos/ponytails. But what do you think? Do you like Adele's signature look?

Dressing for the Sundance Film Festival, which wrapped over the weekend, required a balancing act. On the one hand, attendees had to consider layering up to keep cozy in the Park City, Utah chill. And on the other hand, actresses had to look pretty and polished for back-to-back press ops and photo calls throughout the week. Here, we look at four stars who nailed the sartorial challenge.

ELIZABETH BANKS:

Outdoors, Elizabeth Banks, who promoted My Idiot Brother, rocked a red puffer coat, which had funky fur lining along the hood. For a charity brunch the actress wore a beige sweater with a rounded V-neckline, which she threw over skinny black pants and ankle booties. We love how chic and sophisticated the blocked neutral colors look together. Another keep-the-chill-out ensemble included a trench teamed with a leopard print scarf.

ZOOEY DESCHANEL:

Zooey Deschanel, who also stars in My Idiot Brother, kept toasty with gray ear warmers, a peacoat and rain boots in a lively pattern. Back inside, the actress/singer layered a black sweater with a light gray blazer and a plaid schoolgirl skirt. On another occasion she chose a short-sleeve tiered dress, tights and two-toned shoes.

KATE BOSWORTH:

Kate Bosworth at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival at the "Another Happy Day" premiere on Jan. 23, at the 2011 Creative Coalition Spotlight Initiative Awards on Jan. 24, and at the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift on Jan. 24 in Park City, Utah.

The black knee-length Chloe dress and the Dolce & Gabbana floor-length floral gown that Kate Bosworth wore while premiering Another Happy Day were our favorite looks of the whole festival. Outdoors, the actress went for a biker chic look which included black combat boots and a mustard dress.

DEMI MOORE:

Demi Moore, who showed two movies at Sundance—Margin Call and Another Happy Day, picked a black, voluminous dress by Victoria Beckham for her indoor look. She jazzed up the LBD with little black boots for some dramatic flair. Outside, Mrs. Ashton Kutcher looked weather-appropriate in a muted outfit, which included a gray fur coat, sweater and pants, as well as lace-up booties. Demi kept with the dark theme during another photo op, where she wore a draping jumpsuit with an oversize sweater and boots.

Nicki Minaj performing 'Right Thru Me' on 'SNL' in New York on Jan. 29, and the look from Christian Siriano's Spring 2011 ready-to-wear show.

Fresh from her London promo tour, Nicki Minaj looked smokin' hot (literally) during her performance of "Right Thru Me" on Saturday Night Live in New York City over the weekend. The rapper teamed her Bride of Frankenstein/Salt N Pepa pink 'do with a giant blush-colored ball gown from Christian Siriano's Spring/Summer 2011 collection. There was so much frothy tulle on the dress's skirt that it looked like Nicki was floating on a cloud of smoke. We could have done without the wild wig, but we LOVED the overly dramatic dress. What do you think?

Move over, Cinderella! Nicki Minaj is the new princess in town. In her video, "Moment 4 Life," which debuted last night, Nicki played the role of queen for a day, complete with a fairy godmother, sparkly slippers, crowns, fancy ball gowns and her very own sharp-dressed prince (played by rapper Drake). Once upon a time...

Wearing an airy pink ball gown, wings, and a blingy crown, Nicki Minaj also played "Fairy Godmother" (aka "Martha," Nicki's real-life alter ego)—British accent and all.

This wouldn't be a Cinderella story without the infamous magic slippers. In Nicki's case, they were Christian Louboutin diamond-encrusted pumps. You definitely wouldn't want to leave one of those behind for the prince to find.

"Put it on everything that I will retire with the ring," Nicki says in "Moment 4 Life." This rock of a ring?

The rapper donned a baby blue chiffon goddess gown with crystal accents from The Blonds Spring 2011 collection, with a pretty dripping headpiece.

Drake (er, the prince) looked suave in all-black everything, which he teamed with a single gold chain necklace and some serious swagger.

This army-green studded minidress with a super-long puffy train gave Nicki (er, the princess) an exotic, bourgeois vibe.

Nicki accessorized the bustier-inspired dress with a pale pink wig, green tights, and gold-studded booties.

Nicki broke up her triple-pink makeup look (pink polish, pink lipstick and pink hair) with eye candy—a swipe of turquoise liner on her bottom lash line. Fierce!

We know it's a fairytale, but Drake (in a suit-and-bow-tie combo) and Nicki (in a gorge white ball gown) look so freakin' cute together.

Emma Roberts Jan. 24 and Jan. 23 at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
Photo: Getty Images

Thanks to all of the well-dressed celebs attending the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, we are getting a crash course in dressing for cold weather (so as to not look like the Michelin Man)—an important lesson, indeed. Our latest finding? When in doubt, pack multiple jackets. Actress Emma Roberts proved this theory true by popping up all over Park City, Utah, wearing jackets of varying shapes and sizes—from a structured wool blazer and a fur-trimmed sporty puffer to a cozy wrap cardigan by McGinn—with jeans and boots. The simple switcheroo transformed the vibe of each look...and, more important, kept her toasty.

A handful of hot-dressed celebs, including Jessica Alba and Olivia Wilde, took a break from Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week last night to honor Gucci's Frida Giannini (she's the creative director of the company...aka the head honcho) at a dinner hosted by former 'Vogue Paris' editor in chief Carine Roitfeld. It was a fashion love fest for sure, and these were the looks we fell for...

JESSICA ALBA: Jessica stole the spotlight in a sparkly silver Gucci dress with draping over one shoulder, which she wore with blush-colored heels and a metallic Gucci clutch.

OLIVIA WILDE: The Tron: Legacy star worked a color-block jumpsuit from Gucci's Spring 2011 collection. Olivia teamed the sexy number with a chunky gold necklace, royal purple clutch and a fierce pair of black sandals.

DIANE KRUGER: Being a Chanel muse didn't stop model-turned-actress Diane Kruger from stepping out in a KILLER embellished black and gold frock from Gucci's Spring 2011 collection.

GEMMA ARTERTON: Bond girl Gemma Arterton, chose a more casual ensemble, but the pocketed Gucci dress was none the less chic...especially with those AMAZING nude peep toes!

Willow Smith at the music video shoot for "21st Century Girl," on Jan. 22 in California.
Photo: Fame Pictures

Willow Smith, the 10-year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, is at it again. The pint-size performer shot her second music video on Jan. 22 in Los Angeles. While there was slightly less hair whipping on the set of "21st Century Girl" than in her first video shoot, for "Whip My Hair," there were layers and layers of brightly colored clothes to ooh and ahh over—which is exactly what we did. Willow piled the style on thick, wearing multiple boot chains, socks, skirts, and necklaces in one look. But our fave item? The "Boys Need Training" tee Willow wore with a cream-colored puff shoulder bolero, leopard tights, yellow shorts and yellow boots. Boys need training, huh? This girl is so wise beyond her years.

While press touring across the pond, Nicki Minaj introduced her British fans to her latest album, "Pink Friday," plus a handful of new wild-and-crazy 'dos. No longer are Nicki's strands simply dipped in bright hues, or acid washed then dyed purple/yellow/orange/green/etc. For better or worse, she's started playing around with shapes, sizes, cuts, and patterns, too.

Pink Presario
Oustide of her London hotel, Nicki was spotted in an over-the-top pink jumpsuit, bracelet-size purple hoop earrings, and this cotton candy-colored curly beehive.

Blonde Bombshell
Nicki teamed a heavy-banged platinum 'do with a heavy set of faux lashes. The cascade of curls gave this look serious Barbie Doll status.

Camouflage Fringe
We couldn't quite tell if Nicki was going for a camo look or a colorful leopard look with this style, which she wore with a crisp white dress and a statement-making gold necklace.

+ You've seen the latest, so which new 'do should Nicki Minaj put on repeat?

Natalie Portman at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York on Nov. 29, Kim Kardashian in New York on Jan. 19.
Photo: Getty Images/INF Daily

Natalie Portman and Kim Kardashian recently wore the same one-shoulder black Lanvin for H&M dress, which apparently sold out like hotcakes when it became available to the masses, out and about. Both stars accessorized similarly with black round toe pumps, but they each chose very different hair and makeup looks. Black Swan star Natalie wore her frock with a swipe of matte red lipstick and a smooth side chignon to the Gotham Independent Film Awards on Nov. 29. Nearly two months later, Kim wore the sultry shift with her hair down and her signature smoky eye. The dress flatters both celebs' fab figures, but Natalie gets our vote this time around—a red lip paired with ANYTHING makes us weak in the knees. But, what do you think?

+ Who wore Lanvin for H&M better—Natalie Portman or Kim Kardashian?

Kristen Stewart in the 'Vogue' February 2011 Issue.
Photo: Vogue

Twilight's Kristen Stewart took a brief hiatus from her dark side to return to her blonde roots for the February cover of Vogue. Did the actress pull it off? Heck yeah! Even though it's been years since the natural blonde has rocked lighter locks (you can thank the brown-haired "Bella" for that!), Kristen seems to have maintained her badass vibe, despite the bubbly blonde dye job. But if you think about it, since her style is so low-maintenance/unfussy, Kristen can wear almost any hair hue—from pitch black, to auburn, to rich brown—and look like she was born with it.
