Snooki's Book Tour Style

Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is a bona fide author, and she wants the world to know. The petite reality star has been traveling from coast to coast all week, making pit stops at the Late Show With David Letterman and the Today Show, to promote her new novel, A Shore Thing. The debut book is a fictional depiction of a young woman (with big hair and a dark tan) looking for boardwalk lovin'. Hmm, sounds familiar. Check out how Snooks dressed to exude the vibe of each city she did signings in.

CALI COOL
In an all black, skater-girl ensemble (leggings, tunic, fingerless gloves, and chunky jewelry), Snooki kicked off her book tour on Jan. 6 at the Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles.

JERSEYLICIOUS
You can take the girl out of Jersey, but you can't take the Jersey out of the girl. At the Barnes & Noble in Brick, New Jersey, Snooki rocked a low-cut gold and tan sequins frock with black booties.

NY STATE OF MIND
At a book signing at the Columbus Circle Borders in New York City, Snooki posed in a bright pink ruffled dress, huge hoop earrings, and a smirk with Big Apple attitude.

2011 Golden Globe Awards: Top 4 Red Carpet Looks

When it comes to choosing the best-dressed actresses at awards shows, everyone's a critic. But, we have a feeling that this fab four will be on the top of nearly every 2011 Golden Globe Awards "hot" list out there. And, here's why...

DIANNA AGRON: Glee girl Dianna Agron looked picture perfect in a strapless J. Mendel dress, which she partnered with a Cathy Waterman necklace and an adorable gold Ferragamo clutch. We thought the barrette she slipped into her hair was a nice feminine touch.

ANNE HATHAWAY: It's not easy to pull off head-to-toe sequins, but Anne Hathaway did it with this Armani Prive amber-colored gown. The trick? With all that bling, she kept her hair and makeup simple and polished.

MILA KUNIS: Black Swan's Mila Kunis rocked a green one-shoulder Vera Wang gown down the red carpet. She teamed the stunning dress with a few gold bangles and a tres chic french roll in her hair.

Fox All-Star Party: Heather Morris, Elijah Wood, And Others Dress To Impress

Cast members from hit Fox shows, including Glee and House, flocked to Villa Sorriso in Pasadena, California, yesterday for the network's winter soiree. The red carpet was full of dressy-casual ensembles that were personalized with subtle accessories and/or fierce poses. Here are our fave looks of the night...

Heather Morris, who plays Brittany on Glee, showed off her dancer's physique in a black velvet minidress with matching sandals and bouncy curls. House's Amber Tamblyn added a pop of color to the procession line in a vivid purple shirt dress, which she teamed with a black blazer, belt and pair of tights. Meanwhile, another Glee star, Dianna Agron, looked tres chic in the black Prada scoopneck frock she paired with a super-skinny red belt.

Kevin McHale from Glee donned black pants slouched into boots, a gray tee, blazer with a bow tie corsage, and...is that a new pair of readers? Actor Elijah Wood added a rugged touch to his jacket and skinny tie combo by adding to it ink-dark denim. Another "jeanious," Glee's Mark Salling teamed his denim with a blazer and a plaid button-up.

Leighton Meester On Her Personal Style

It's no secret that Gossip Girl Leighton Meester loves clothes (on and off screen). So when The Seven sat down to interview the Florida native on the set of her Seventeen magazine February cover shoot (side note: Don't you just love the Versus Spring 2011 looks she's sporting in the magazine?), we weren't surprised when the convo turned to fashion.

"I couldn't always afford to have that all the time, so now it's nice—I can try different things. I like to experiment," said Leighton. Oh, and experiment does she! Remember the mens-inspired Thom Browne suit she wore with Salvatore Ferragamo heels to the Gotham Independent Film Awards in November? And the Marchesa butt-baring lace romper she wore to the Harry Winston Court of Jewels event the same month? Check out the video below for more on Leighton's fearless sense of fashion.

How To Wear Shorts In The Winter Like Lauren Conrad, Nicole Richie, And Alexa Chung

Just because it's cold (er, FREEZING) in many parts of the country doesn't mean we can't all rock a cute pair of short-shorts every now and then. But, we can't just throw on some floral board shorts over bare legs and not expect a few "what-the-heck-are-you-wearing" stares. Stay warm and look cool with these tips...

GO DARK
Winter white works for dresses but not so much for shorts. Team a dark pair of short-shorts with black tights and dark shoes, like The Hills star/fashion designer Lauren Conrad did when she hit up the Young Hollywood Studio in Los Angeles on Jan. 7.

PICK THE PERFECT FABRIC
Nicole Richie, Lucky magazine's February 2011 cover girl, teamed a striped top and leopard print hat with velvet shorts, and you should too. It's not rocket science—the thicker/plusher the fabric, the warmer they'll keep your tush.

BE A KNIT WIT
There's no better topper to wear with winter shorts than a sweater. Need proof? For the London Film Festival in October, model Alexa Chung partnered her leather shorts with a slouchy gray cable knit sweater. Totes adorbs!

Jessica Szohr Shows Some Skin For SoBe

Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr was spotted at C&C Studios in New York City yesterday wearing the cutest little striped dress with magenta peep toes. But the dress wasn't the main attraction. The actress was there to launch SoBe Lifewater and unveil the promotional campaign she stars in for the beverage company. The ad shows a svelte Jessica posing near a fire hydrant in her birthday suit (with strategically placed paint made to look like lizard skin). Shocking marketing? Not really. This isn't the first time SoBe asked a celeb to model in the buff (excuse us, in a "skinsuit")—Twilight's Ashley Greene was the company's spokesperson last year.

Mirror Images: Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester

Is it just us or could actresses Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester pass for siblings? The similarities are striking! Even if we leave their long brown hair and flawless complexions out of the equation, both beauties star in TV shows (Minka on Friday Night Lights and Parenthood, and Leighton on Gossip Girl). And now we find out that they are costarring in The Roommate, a thriller in which Leighton plays a coed obsessed with Minka's character. The film hits theaters on Feb. 4. Oh, but the likenesses don't stop at the silver screen. They may not be blood sisters, but these two celebs are definitely style sisters. Check out the resemblances in their wardrobes...starting with what they wore to the People's Choice Awards on Jan. 5 (Minka wore a Vivienne Westwood bustier minidress, while Leighton donned a similarly styled Vionnet dress with floral appliqués).

For movie screenings, these two had the same look in mind. Minka wore a Zero Maria + Cornejo sleeveless print dress with Jimmy Choo slingbacks to the Dec. 14 screening of Country Strong, which features Leighton. And for the premiere of Date Night on April 6, Leighton slipped into a Giambattista Vali dress and strappy PHI shoes.

Proving ruffles and prints DO mix, Minka rocked a flirty Dior dress to the premiere of (500) Days of Summer. Leighton ALSO wore Dior—a short floral dress—for the Country Strong screening (yes, the same premiere that Minka wore her V-neck minidress to in the pic above).

Minka looked amazing in a beige Marchesa dress full of lace, bows and draping. Meanwhile, Leighton wore a just-as-girly Marc Jacobs dress this past fall.

Minka went for the gold in a gilded dress with a deep V-neck with matching strappy shoes, and Leighton went for the silver in an Elie Saab powdery tulle cocktail dress with matching suede peep-toe platforms.

FLOPPY BLAZERS

It's no surprise these two peas-in-a-pod would both forgo a traditional structured jacket for something more throw-it-on-and-go. Minka wore an army-style blazer with tights and a tee to the William Rast for Target launch event on Dec. 11, while Leighton wore a sheer Louis Vuitton jacket over a bright skirt and top ensemble a year ago.

Let's Talk About... Odd Couple Chloë Sevigny And Pauly D's Courtside Style

Mariah and Nick. Tom and Katie. Chloë and Pauly D?? As far as celebrity odd couples go, actress Chloë Sevigny and the Jersey Shore's Pauly D would probably top the list. Granted, they're not a real couple, but when they were both spotted front row at the San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks basketball game yesterday, we couldn't help but notice how...well...odd they looked seated side by side. Let's start with the obvious. Chloë showed off her signature punky style in studded booties, black jeans, a sort-of sheer button-up, and a starter jacket in Knicks blue-and-orange. Meanwhile, Pauly D's Fonz-esque outfit included black high-tops, dark denim, a little wrist bling, a fresh-from-the-pack white tee, and a leather jacket. So, we don't foresee Chloë and Pauly D going on any shopping trips together anytime soon. But ensembles aside, something these two seatmates do have in common is hometown pride...and great hair.

New Year's Eve 'Jersey Shore' Style

The cast of the Jersey Shore—Snooki, Pauly D, The Situation, Vinny, Ronnie, Sammi, Deena, and JWOWW—helped host MTV's New Year's Eve Bash with comedian Whitney Cummings. And fist pumps aside (they actually attempted to set the fist-pumping world record on New Year's Eve!), the reality show cast came dressed to shock and awe...and show their muscles. If you missed the drama...

SNOOKI

Snooki—dressed in leopard print and HUGE hoop earrings, with her signature pouf and plastic drink cup in hand—stepped into a giant glass ball that preceded to drop during the crowds countdown to the new year.

JWOWW & SNOOKI

JWOWW went for risqué-risqué (that’s double risqué) in a chain link top and pasties, which she teamed with a white blazer, ripped jeans and blue peep toes. Kudos to JWOWW for her confidence, but Snooki's costume change into a red-hot one-shoulder cocktail dress is more our speed.

THE SITUATION & PAULY D

The Situation wore aviators, a red T-shirt, tan fur-lined vest and a rosary. Meanwhile, Pauly D played DJ in a black blazer, white graphic tee, a big boy watch and some MAJOR bling.

On-and-off again couple Sammi (in a strapless blue minidress that she wore with a statement necklace dripping in jewels) and Ronnie (wearing jeans with a black tee, and velvet suit jacket) couch cuddled during the festivities.

Yin and yang: Deena went over the top with her New Year's Eve ensemble, wearing a flippy lavender minidress with matching eye shadow and a glittery hairpin. Meanwhile, Vinny kept his look super-casual in jeans, a white tee, a black coat and two neck scarfs.

New Year's Eve Style Stars: Fergie, The Kardashians, And More!

Dick Clark may be the pioneer (and a darn good one at that), but he wasn’t the only celebrity helping to ring in 2011. Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, and B.o.B were also having a rockin' New Year's Eve. In case you missed them, here’s a cheat sheet of who helped host what and, most important, what they wore.

ALL DOLLED UP

Shine, sparkle, shimmer...oh my! J. Lo partied with her hubby Marc Anthony at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas wearing a super-shiny form-fitting shift. Showing off her new fab figure in a red-hot dress, J. Hudd shared hosting duties with Fergie, who wore a strapless green studded minidress with a tulle train. Meanwhile Kim Kardashian sparkled in a white glittery dress, which she teamed with classic pumps and smooth, wavy strands.

SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Even though most of their fellow revelers dressed in above-the-knee cocktail dresses (see above), Rihanna and Kourtney Kardashian chose to go against the grain in long dresses that were equally dazzling. Rihanna, who celebrated at PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, wore a striped and mesh dress in a strand-matching hue. Meanwhile Kourtney, who hosted at the Gansevoort Hotel in Miami wore a bilowy, mono-shouldered Bodyamr gown.

FUR AND FEATHERS

It's no wonder Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha wrapped themselves in something warm—both singers wore short shorts on New Year's Eve. While performing on BET 106 and Park's New Year's Eve Party, a green-and blue-haired Nicki wore white fur boots, light blue tights, a jacket and daisy dukes set and a blue and silver bustier. Ke$ha showed off two New Year's Eve looks—preperformance on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" show she wore green "2011" glasses and her now-signature blue lipstick; during her performance she wore bright red lipstick with sequins shorts and a white button-up. In between, she threw a full feather jacket around her shoulders to keep from freezing.

JUST FOR KICKS

Stilletos on New Years? No way! Not for Willow Smith and Avril Lavigne, who both performed on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" show wearing snazzy sneakers. Willow wore leopard print high-tops, while Avril wore a one-shoulder leather dress with studded black footwear.

HOT STUFF

While girls typically show a little skin for NYE in cute cocktail dresses, boys tend to bundle up. Exhibit A and B: B.o.B walked the red carpet at the Jet Nightclub at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas wearing a plaid button-up, a red scarf, a leather fur-trimmed jacket and a fur ski hat. Meanwhile, rapper Flo Rida kept his tan puffy coat ON while performing at MTV's "New Year's Bash."
