What's black and white and red all over this fall? Florence Welch's style, that's what. On more than a few occasions we've spotted the eccentric frontwoman from Florence + the Machine rocking the monochromatic look, topped with her signature head full of flaming red hair. From black sparkly minidresses (like the one she wore above during her performance on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 20) to long, white Victorian gowns, the quirky-chic fashionista seems to have found the perfect autumn palette, and she's sticking to it.

Florence added life to a long, pretty-basic black dress in New York on Nov. 18, with a playful pop of red nail polish and lipstick, plus a few chunky rings. While performing in Oakland, Calif., on Nov. 5, Florence skipped shoes and accessories altogether and was outfitted in nothing more than a floaty, ethereal white dress.

Florence went über-conservative at a NYC performance on Nov. 2, wearing a full-length white dress with long, loose sleeves and a floppy bow tie. And days before, in London, she showed off her legs in a feathered miniskirt that she teamed with a black blouse.

The 2010 American Music Awards were held last night in Los Angeles, and while we expected to see some rather out-there performance outfits (which we did!), we were pleasantly surprised to see stars taking some serious fashion risks pre-show, too. These are the red carpet looks that REALLY caught our eyes.

NICKI MINAJ'S SKELETON DRESS

Nicki Minaj at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Nov. 21.

Even though Nicki Minaj's Manish Arora dress conservatively covered her knees, it was still the most "revealing" outfit of the night. With what looked like a golden skeleton embellishment on the outside (how much more revealing can you get!), it was amazing that our fave Barbie could even sit down. She paired the work of art with pink Christian Louboutin sandals and green-tipped hair.

KE$HA'S GARBAGE GOWN

Ke$ha at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Nov. 21.
Photo: Getty Images

For her AMAs red carpet ensemble, Ke$ha seemed to be inspired by her 2010 VMAs dress. Remember the fitted minidress made out of garbage bags that she wore then? Yeah, well this time she wore a floor-length shredded (garbage bag?) gown with a deep V-neck and a high-slit. Her makeup — studded eyebrows and mercury-colored lipstick — was just as eye-catching.

WILLOW SMITH'S LAYERED LOOK

Willow Smith at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Nov. 21.

Willow Smith (aka the cool girl we wish we were when we were 10-years-old), presented at the AMAs wearing a slate gray romper with a funky yellow buckled, puff-sleeved jacket, leather gloves, and the slouchiest booties we've ever seen. This girl is literally oozing with style.

Yesterday, we showed you the three outfits we covet most from the Lanvin for H&M look book in anticipation for the collection's debut in stores tomorrow. But our love affair with the French fashion house began long ago. Celebrities such as Blake Lively, Rihanna, and Natalie Portman have all worn the label's super feminine and luxe gowns to red carpet events. In honor of the brand's collaboration with H&M, we present our favorite celebrity Lanvin looks. And happy shopping tomorrow!

RACHEL MCADAMS

Rachel McAdams wore head-to-toe Lanvin to the premiere of her film Morning Glory in New York earlier this month. The actress chose a strapless gunmetal gray dress from the label's spring 2011 collection and paired it with lucite wedges.

NATALIE PORTMAN

Natalie Portman attended the 2010 New York City Ballet gala on April 29 in a layered, red and beige Lanvin frock. This sheer number is our favorite Lanvin look, and Natalie played up the feminine feel by choosing a sparkly gold belt and simple strappy shoes.

ZOE SALDANA

Zoe Saldana also picked a red Lanvin number for the premiere of Death at a Funeral in Los Angeles. The draping on the shift shows off Zoe's figure, while the metal belt gives the loose number some structure.

JENNIFER LOPEZ

Jennifer Lopez at the NEON Charity Gala in Moscow, Russia on May 24.

Jennifer Lopez wore a chocolate brown Lanvin garment to a charity gala in Moscow on May 24. The super drapey gown had a Grecian look, and J-Lo accessorized the dress well with a bold necklace and bracelet.

BLAKE LIVELY

Blake Lively looked like she had just walked straight off Lanvin's spring 2011 runway when she showed up at the Spike TV awards in October. The actress wore a gray Lanvin dress to the event and styled herself exactly like the runway model, from the sleeked back bun to embellished nude heels. This was definitely one of our favorite dresses!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JESSICA ALBA

Jessica Alba at "The Killer Inside Me" Premiere in Paris on June 24.

Jessica Alba chose a dark green halter dress from the label's fall 2010 collection for the premiere of her movie The Killer Inside Me in Paris on June 24. The mini had sleek gold trimming on top and gathered ruffles at its side—so romantic!

RIHANNA

The one-shoulder look is a classic Lanvin silhouette, and Rihanna rocked it in a black leather frock in Hollywood last July. The exaggerated sleeve gave the dress great volume, and the pop star balanced the shape with basic, nude pointed-toe pumps.

CAREY MULLIGAN

Last January, Carey Mulligan walked the red carpet at the SAG awards in a strapless, red Lanvin gown which had a sparkly bow pin at the waist. The floor-length dress showed off Lanvin's trademark ruching and draping details, and Carey looked regal in the gown.

HILARY DUFF

Hilary Duff added high fashion to her little black dress when she paired it with Lanvin's beige, chain strap pumps while out and about in Beverly Hills over the summer.

ANNE HATHAWAY

Anne Hathaway wore another one-shoulder Lanvin outfit to the Drama Desk Awards in New York last May. The black jumpsuit is from the label's spring 2010 collection, and Anne rocked it with matching black pumps. We also love how her curly hair and red lip add a touch of old Hollywood glamour to the ensemble.

Nicki Minaj at the 2010 BET Awards in Los Angeles.
Photo: PictureGroup

If you've ever wanted to get a behind-the-scenes look at Nicki Minaj's life (because who doesn't?!), now's your chance. The MC/pink-loving rising diva recently tweeted to announce her first hour-long documentary, in which she granted MTV exclusive access to her life. MTV was there for her first live performance at the VMAs, traveled with her to her native Trinidad, and even tagged along with her to the studio as she prepped for her debut album, Pink Friday. We can't wait to see if the film crew also captured moments of her diva primping, because that would be amazing. Fingers crossed! In the meantime, check out a trailer for the documentary, Nicki Minaj: My Time Now below!

Taylor Swift at BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards on Nov. 14.
Photo: Getty Images/Reiss/Nordstrom/Nine West

Taylor Swift proved that little white dresses are the new little black dresses when she attended an awards ceremony in London on Nov. 14 wearing an ivory lace frock by British brand Reiss (what attention to detail to wear a Brit label in London!). She finished the look with taupe accessories, including a skinny belt and lace-up heels. Want to score Taylor's lace look? Grab her exact dress by Reiss (ReissOnline.com, $325). Then, add a skinny belt; try Hyde's suede version in taupe ($32, Nordstrom.com) and pair it with similar oxford-inspired heels from Nine West ($89, NineWest.com).

Rihanna Performs on Nov. 15, at the VMAs on Sept. 12, and at Madison Square Garden on Aug. 12.
Photo: Getty Images

Rihanna debuted a new shiny, straight extra-long hairstyle during a live performance for MTV's The Seven on Monday, her third red look of the year since transforming into a redhead over the summer. We can't say that we won't miss the wavy, shoulder-length locks that she rocked with a sparkly headband at this year's VMAs on Sept. 12, or the sassy, face-framing pixie that she wore Aug. 12 during her concert with Ke$ha, because we most definitely will! But, we love the fact that Rihanna went there — all the way down to the middle of her back there — with her mane. Between the short pixie, long bob, and pin-straight hair, her latest look has to be our favorite. But what do you think?

Selita Ebanks at the Blonds spring 2011 show on Sept. 16; Katy Perry at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Nov. 10.
Photo: Getty Images/WireImage

Selita Ebanks and Katy Perry looked like fresh spring bouquets when both ladies wore a strapless floral top from The Blonds upcoming spring collection. Selita Ebanks modeled the colorful piece on the runway during New York Fashion Week in September, wearing it with a long, flowy grass green skirt. Meanwhile, Katy Perry paired the top with a hot pink mini and blue pumps at the Victoria's Secret fashion show in New York earlier this week. Both ladies dazzled in the embellished top, but we think Selita won this style matchup. We like how her longer skirt balanced out the busy bustier, and the loose skirt didn't lock in her legs like Katy's tight mini. But what do you think?

Who wore The Blonds best — Selita Ebanks or Katy Perry?

Juliet Simms.
Photo: Jack Jeffries/MTV

Juliet Simms, the 24-year-old lead singer of Automatic Loveletter, showed off some amazing, sometimes-skimpy-but-always-stylish outfits on the Warped Tour last summer, so we were thrilled when she dropped by MTV Style to talk fashion. Juliet told us that the musicians of the '60s, '70s, and '80s are the influence behind the loose-fitting, hippie outfits she rocks onstage. She also opened up about her personal style, the difference between looking good and looking "skanky," the process behind putting together her performance outfits, and her fashion essentials. Watch the videos below to hear Juliet Simms talk more about style.

ON HER PERSONAL STYLE:
"I try to pull from male rock stars from the '60s, '70s, and '80s, such as Jim Morrison, Robert Plant, or David Bowie or Axl Rose, Steven Tyler. That’s like some of my favorite music, and those records are what I grew up with my entire life. So my style essentially is just rocker, male meets female. I also try to keep it not slutty or skanky."

ON PICKING HER PERFORMANCE WEAR:
"I try to put together different outfits every night. So I bring essentials like my wet pants, faux jeans, laces, and fishnets, jewelry … whatever I feel is right at the moment. I can't leave without my boots, whether it’s my platform booties or my cowboy boots."

+ Do you like Juliet Simm's style?

Glamour magazine's Annual Women of the Year Awards were held last night honor 24 remarkable women — from entertainers like Cher (who scooped up the Lifetime Achievement Award), to humanitarians like Queen Rania of Jordan. What we discovered? Not only do these women have amazing accomplishments, they also have amazing wardrobes. Here are our favorite looks.

BEST DRESSED: FERGIE
Fergie is on fire with this red dress! The Black Eyed Peas singer and shoe designer gave a tearful acceptance speech for her award, and wore a floor-length, one shoulder Zac Posen gown and matching pumps. She radiated true glamor, and for that she's best dressed.

BEST LIP LOOK: JANELLE MONAE
The evening's performer, Janelle Monae, rocked her signature cape and pompadour, but she was also giving us something new—hot pink lips that REALLY popped against her all-black ensemble.

BEST ACCESSORIES: CHER
The consensus was that Cher, who took home the final award of the evening (the Lifetime Achievement Award), inspired the audience with her acceptance speech. For us, though, the "ROCK" pin that she wore on a leather biker jacket made a statement of it's own.

BEST SHOES: ESTELLE
Estelle sparkled (literally) in black, glittery shoes, which she paired with a one-shoulder gown and an equally shimmery clutch.

BEST HAIR (UP): KELLY OSBOURNE
Presenter Kelly Osbourne (master of hair transformations) took a cue from Janelle Monae by pinning her hair up into a chignon/pompadour that looked retro-cute with her brow-skimming bangs.

BEST HAIR (DOWN): ALEXA RAY JOEL
Singer/songwriter Alexa Ray Joel's brunette strands always look great — shiny, thick, healthy. But, the added curl and side-pullover gave them added oomph.

BEST EYELASHES: JANET JACKSON
Janet Jackson teamed up with Hilary Swank to present an award to fashion designer Donatella Versace. The trio looked great on stage, but all we could focus on were Janet's long, luscious lashes. Swoon!

BEST OLD HOLLYWOOD GLAM LOOK: KATE HUDSON
Kate Hudson presented the award to Fergie wearing a shimmering champagne Lanvin gown with metallic gold leather pumps. Her retro waves swept over one shoulder and classic red lips totally transported us to a forties jazz club.

Lady Gaga, one of our favorite-in-the-whole-wide-world divas, won big at EMA on Sunday in Madrid, Spain. And while we missed her so much on the purple carpet because she wasn't able to attend in person, she did an ah-freaking-mazing job accepting her three EMA awards live onstage during her Monster Ball tour stop in Budapest, Hungary! "I wish so much that I could be there," she said during her Best Song acceptance speech, wearing one of her signature tour outfits — a clear plastic dress with nipple stickers underneath. Later, she changed into her purple big-shoulder jacket and sparkly purple sunglasses, another tour outfit, for her Best Pop award. "I love you so much, thank you for all your support, this means so much to me." Don't you think awards are the hottest accessories?! Check out all of her speeches — and her awesome fan shout-outs!!! — below.
