Justin Bieber debuts filled in tattoo sleeve.

Welp, at this point, we're just confirming the inevitable. Justin Bieber has finally gotten that left forearm tattoo sleeve. We say "inevitable" because the way he's been racking up permanent emblems on that specific spot over the past several months more than suggested that this would be on the horizon. It started innocently enough, Biebsy inked himself with "Believe" in cartoon block letters in commemoration of his coming-of-age album of the same name. Then, he added this owl illustration. Next to that, he branded himself with a mysterious "X," and from there, the progression accelerates to break-neck speeds.
Last night in Toronto there was a whole lotta hullabaloo going down at the 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards (affectionately called the “MMVAs”). There was sangin’ and dancin’ and fussin’ and preenin’. And sure, the ladies preened up real nice—some classy broads all over that joint—but the dudes may have out-prettied them. Traditionally a gent can throw on some fancy jeans, a leather jacket and a hint of scruff to be music-award-show-ready, but at the 2013 MMVAs, bad boy chic was not up to par. Mermaid tails, muscles and looks of passion were de rigeur.
Uh huh honey.

The night’s most pleasant and handsome surprise came when Drake unexpectedly sauntered on stage to accept his award for Hip-Hop Video of the Year. And sure, while his T-shirt and jeans may not burst with effort, dig a little deeper. The man’s been working on his fitness, so technically his months of gym time have all led to this moment. The moment where he lifts his trophy, a bicep twinkles in the night, and his smile launches a thousand ships.
In case you're wondering, we're STILL freaking out over Robert Pattinson being named new face of Dior Homme yesterday. But, today we were hit with even more, fashion-y RPattz goodness—Dior tweeted the first official photo from their campaign last night, and OMG, we can already tell this is going to be one sultry shoot! The black and white photo, shot by Nan Goldin, features a fully-bearded (!!!) Robert looking stoic in a ribbed sweater, jeans and, well, not much else. Yesterday, we peeped sneak peek photos (super grainy ones, nonetheless) from a Dior party earlier this week and got the feeling that something, erm, sensual was happening in them. (See: Robert shirtless in a bed with an equally-naked lady.)
Robert Pattinson is the new face of Dior Homme!

Not to be all, "We told you so," but we totally got wind of Robert Pattinson being the new face of Dior Homme last fall. Even though sources denied the claims, today WWD announced that the Twilight star is, in fact, the official celebrity ambassador of their men's fragrance. YASSSS. He follows in the footsteps of Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron, who formerly fronted the French fashion house's campaigns. We're SO stoked to see the full campaign (especially considering RPattz was formerly a model #WERK), and, thanks to some Twi-hard fans pointing us to some Instagram pics from a Dior event last night, we already got a sneak peek of what to expect. Eeee!
Kanye West's "New York Times" portrait.

If you haven't already read Jon Caramanica's interview with the (typically) press-elusive Kanye West for the New York Times, go ahead and put this post on pause, open this link in a new tab, and get caught up. Ye and Jon conduct the several-hour-long conversation over the course of three days, discussing West's upcoming sixth solo studio album Yeezus and its position in relation to the rest of West's musical annals. The discourse is candid, unapologetic, and a kind of dream interview for any card-carrying Kanye fan as Yeezy drops bombs like, "Dark Fantasy was my long, backhanded apology," (I'm sorry, WHAT? Are we to infer that his most critically acclaimed release wasn't even that true to himself??) and "Yeah, people asked me to change my name for [808s & Heartbreak]." *jaw drops and tongue rolls out of mouth like a Persian rug with cherub imagery*
The interview is a hotbed of quotables like, "Beauty, truth, awesomeness," and "I am the nucleus," and dubbing himself, "the Michael Jordan of music," each of which make us miss more and more when Ye had a blog and was regularly active on Twitter, but it's the moments when he weaves fashion into their discussion of his music evolution that we're going MOST bananas over (naturally). Check out our favorites below, and be sure to read the interview in its entirety on NYTimes.com because wowowowow it's GOOD.
Justin Bieber's adidas NEO summer campaign.

What's better than static images of Justin Bieber? Moving images! OK, so it's not preferred to seeing him in the flesh, but still, it's pretty cool. Welp, the folks at adidas NEO just released this behind-the-scenes video from Justin's latest NEO photoshoot, bringing us one step closer to candid IRL Biebsie. And clad in summer-ready casualwear! In the minute-long clip, we get a glimpse at the moving parts that go into putting together a campaign. What we learned from the video is that this is no standard studio shoot with a white seamless backdrop.
Ahhhh, the beauty of the internet. While we normally wouldn't be able to weigh in on Jared Leto's hair choices, the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman took to Instagram last night to ask fans (and us, duh) what his next 'do should be. He posted a pic of himself sporting his gorge blonde-tipped tresses, a thick beard and aviator sunglasses with the caption, "Should I cut off this hippy hair?" Well, Jared, we are SO glad you asked. Now, as much as we love his beachy waves in the pic above, let's be real for a hot sec--he often throws those strands back into a baby bun, which isn't necessarily the best look he's ever sported. I mean, sure, it's better than the Dragon Ball Z 'do he once had or spiky mullet he's donned before, but we have to admit, if you're gonna wear it long, let it ALL hang out.
LeBron James and his stylist Rachel Johnson.

LeBron James is one of the biggest names in sports. Today, tomorrow, and for the better part of the forseeable future. Tonight, King James and his Miami Heat teammates take on the San Antonio Spurs for Game 1 of the 2013 NBA Finals. As you may or may not know, LeBron was equally as lauded for his presence off the court during last year's Finals, thanks to a little healthy fashion competition between the Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder. With that kind of precedent, there's no telling what this season's match-up has in store on the style front, but we hit up LeBron's long-time trusted stylist Rachel Johnson to try and extract those answers before game time anyway.
Rachel, along with Dwyane Wade's stylist Calyann Barnett, is one of the pioneers of the whole sports styling scene. She's seen it grow from scrounging up custom-tailored designer duds from the few labels that would do it to anchoring an agency of stylists (Thomas Faison) and outfitting the hottest player in the game. We caught up with her to chat about dressing LJ and since we're nearing the end of basketball season, where in the world of sports we might be able to get our fashion fix next. Check it out!
The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran has signed to Next Models.

In a most unsurprising turn of events, The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran has just signed to Next Models. You know how there are just some dudes you look at and immediately think, "MAN, that guy could be a model"?? That's Siva. To a T. Tall, dark, and handsome. Lean, lanky model frame. A coiffure that's both luxurious and manageable. Impossible cheekbones. Not to mention, he's already got that whole piercing "Blue Steel" thing down pat. From their People's Choice Awards five shades of gray to their coordinating Tommy Hilfiger togs on last year's VMA red carpet, The Wanted dudes have been doing clothes justice since they first burst on the scene, and Siva was the group's style stand-out for sure. This kind of development—Siva signing to an agency—only makes sense, especially considering the guy's actually modeled before!
OMG y'all. Last night, our boyfriend Joe Jonas shaved his head. Like, there's no easy way to say it—his adorable raven locks are totally, irreversibly gone. Donezo. Finished. Extinct. Gone bye-bye. Basically, we were perusing our Instagram feed last night and AUDIBLY gasped when we stumbled upon an adorable play-by-play pic of him shaving off his luscious strands. His caption simply read, "Oops," but judging by how he took a "before" snap, we're guessing this was no mistake. In the first pic, he's sporting his standard shaggy-on-top-short-on-the-side steez, and it looks like his hair stylist is giving him a quick side trim until... it goes totally AWOL.
