What do Mac Miller, Perez Hilton, Chris Benz, Billy Joe Armstrong, and Dennis Rodman all have in common? (And no, they're not all BFFs with North Korean dictator, Kim Jong-un.) Give up? As of today, they've all decided to transform their tresses with a bold new hue: pink! And not, like, a soft baby pink either. We're talkin' BRIGHT.
Miller posted several pics of his makeover (man-over? male-over?) on Instagram today, starting with a shot of himself in a see-through shower cap. He doesn't ~appear~ to be in a salon, though, so we're guessing this was a spur-of-the-moment, DIY 'do—straight-up Manic Panic style. The photos that followed showed the 21-year-old rapper's daring shade in all of its eye-popping glory, and we have to say, we're digging it. Hard.
The Brit Award nominations were announced yesterday and, much to the delight of Directioners everywhere, One Direction landed two nominations. Harry Styles tweeted his gratitude to the fans for securing the nomination and then wrote, "Can't wait to put my finest gown on." And we can't wait to see you in your finest gown, Harry. Last year, the five guys wore matching monochrome outfits to the Brits, so a floor-length dress would definitely set Harry apart. Since we can't wait to see what he ends up wearing (and because it's Friday), we imagined what he'd look like in a few different frocks. New computer backgrounds for everyone!!!
(Harry, if you're reading this and decide on any of the following dresses, please thank me in your acceptance speech. You'd look great in any of these! Good luck, bb!)

In this picture, Harry wears a sequined gown from Elie Saab's Fall/Winter 2013 collection. Harry tends to stick to a fairly neutral palette, so the maroon and embellishments are strikingly different from what we're typically used to. The plunging neckline, however, is standard. He likes to show off those chest tattoos, and this dress allows him to do just that.
Diane von Furstenberg: "The Original Wrapper"
Photo: Harper's Bazaar
Being bookended by two beautiful fashion icons for your first ever photo shoot with Harper's Bazaar is definitely something to smile about (no matter how head-scratchingly incongruous your inclusion in the photo is). Wale does just that as he’s holding up the svelte, high-heeled legs of iconic fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and international supermodel Bar Rafaeli for the magazine's February 2014 issue. It's the lead image for a piece entitled “The Original Wrapper”—see what they did there? *wink wink nudge nudge*—which commemorates the 40-year anniversary of DVF's timeless wrap dress. As model Rafaeli puts it, the photo is meant to highlight "the wrap and rap combined," and also to give context to that très punny headline. But hey, it’s not every day a rapper graces the pages of Harper’s Bazaar, so fine, if they needed a play on words to do it, we’ll take it.
Considering we're in the throes of a polar vortex, looking at clothing for next autumn/winter may seem unappealing. We prefer shorts and bathing suits and clothing that makes us believe it will be warm again, not sweaters that make it seem like winter will last forever. Fashion doesn't adhere to our feelings though, and Fashion Week is starting up again, kicking off in London with men's collections. Though these clothes are technically for next fall, there are a few trends we found that we're not sure we'll be seeing at all. Ever.
DEMENTED MICKEY MOUSE

Weirdly enough, two different designers had models walk out with Mickey Mouse ears. "MICKEY IS HUGE FOR FALL 2014, TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW!"—people in the fashion world (or so I imagine). MAN attached Mickey's iconic ears to a baseball cap and accessorized it with something you'd likely find in a dentist's office/nightmares, while Kate Eary constructed a plastic Mickey mask, complete with a red mohawk. I'm pretty sure this would not fly on the subway.
A$AP Rocky for Teen Vogue.

WHEW! You can let out a sigh of relief now, A$AP killas. We found A$AP Rocky! After laying relatively low since the November release of his somber "Phoenix" video, the Harlem MC has reemerged (like a phoenix?) in the pages of Teen Vogue's February issue. Alongside model Kyra Green, who's sporting new Die Antwoord-esque baby bangs, Rocky models paneled skinny jeans with bow ties and bomber jackets, and an updated hairstyle of his own.

One Direction sells a lot of stuff that I buy because I am
a chump a loyal fan. In 2013, their cute faces were printed on perfume boxes, school supplies, and lipstick tubes (all of which I own). Now, though, things are getting a little out of hand. Vision Express, a British eyewear retailer, has teamed up with the band for a line of girls' glasses. They cost a cool $215.
Kanye is excited about his collaboration with adidas.

While there has still been no confirmation on Adidas' end, Kanye West revealed that his collaboration with the company is, in fact, going forward and will launch in September. The details of what exactly will be released remain a mystery, but Kanye told Chicago DJs Stylz & Roman that he and Adidas would have "something in September." Oh, right, he's also designing clothing and will have stand-alone stores. Looks like Adidas is making Ye's wildest dreams come true!
When we first heard news of his partnership with Adidas, we posited that the company must've offered him a pretty sweet deal that extended beyond designing shoes. It seems, at least according to Kanye, they have. Ye mentioned that he had just returned from Germany, where he visited the Adidas headquarters and had one of the "greatest creative days of [his] life." He seems genuinely excited about the people he is working with and the resources he's been offered to "paint with." Maybe 2014 will be feature a calm and collected Kanye speaking softly about fashion rather than ranting against it?
Kanye West is going to have some new Virgil Abloh swag to wear just in time for spring. Though he'll probably have access to Off-White, Virgil's new label, long before then. Ugh, being famous and the longtime BFF of a very popular designer is the best. Remember how quickly he got his hands on Pyrex Vision?? Like, HOW?? JK, I know how. (Money. Status. Power.)
Off-White is—according to Style.com, who spoke with Virgil—"a streetwear-meets-fashion line that builds on, and expands upon, Pyrex Vision." While Pyrex was screen-printed on other brands' shirts, Off-White will be "a full cut-and-sew line, made in Italy." Oh you fancy, huh? The line will marry Virgil's interests in Martha Stewart (LOL) and "shabby chic" aesthetic elements with athletic sensibilities. Imagine what Martha Stewart would wear to play streetball on Nantucket and you've got Off-White. Not really, but imagining Martha in oversized hoops shorts is a fun way to pass the time.
Justin Bieber at the premiere of 'Believe.'

Last night, Justin Bieber premiered his second feature documentary, Believe, which will hit theaters on Christmas Day. The Biebs walked across a purple (duh, his #1 color) carpet and encouraged Christmas spirit with the addition of some silver tinsel trees. In fact, Bieber's entire outfit was basically a swaggier version of Santa's traditional get-up. So festive!
Justin wore a red single-button blazer, a crisp white shirt (complete with popped collar), and red leather moto pants. He accessorized with a leather-banded bracelet, a sizable gold watch, several gold chains, and some sunglasses to protect his eyes from all that bling. The only thing he needed to complete his jolly look was a sleigh with some reindeer, a bag full of toys (although there was a donation box for that), and a fluffy white beard—but that kind of facial hair can take YEARS to grow. Thankfully, the 'stache can hold it down in the meantime.
Selena Gomez and Siva Kaneswaran are so happy they won our readers' poll!

The winners of our readers' choice poll for best dressed female and male artists of 2013 have been crowned. Congrats to Selena Gomez and Siva Kaneswaran! The Selenators and TWFanmily have
spoken clicked and voted their faves to the top.
It wasn't an easy road: Selena and The Wanted's Siva faced serious competition from the likes of Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and Zayn Malik. It was a nail-biter, y'all! Siva and Selly laid low for the beginning of the competition, but thanks to their fans who voted thousands of times, they were able to cinch the top spots late in the game, edging them ahead of everyone else by six percent and four percent, respectively. Considering what fashion-filled years these two singers have had, though, it's not hard to see why their fans were so determined to win.
