Halloween 2012: One Direction Group Costume Ideas!

Feel that crisp chill in the air? Yep, that's fall. Along with the autumnal turning leaves and apple cider, that means *drumrolllllll* HALLOWEEN SEASON IS UPON US. We've put together a long series of solo AND group costumes *brushes shoulders off* that will roll out this month as we approach All Hallow's Eve, and we're kicking October off with one of our favorite ones yet: a One Direction group costume!! Wrangle up your four best friends and start divvying up who's going to be Harry, Zayn, Liam, Niall, and Louis, grab a 5-pack of Hanes Tagless white tees, have everyone (except whoever's being Louis) dig up their favorite pair of khakis (or cop these $19.75 ones from Aeropostale if you're REALLY committed to the boy band uniformity), and check out what we've rounded up for you below for the rest!

Nailing the signature One Direction hair is CRUCIAL for the proper execution of this group costume, so grabbing wigs and not being afraid to style them appropriately are key factors to getting this right. Harry is unofficially "The Preppy One," so get his look with a crested navy blazer (this one is definitely more of an investment piece, but you can also pin a patch on this Forever 21 blazer for a similar look that's much more affordable) and line the lapel with white electrical tape for that fresh contrast piping. Grab your white tee, khakis, and red lo-top Chucks, muss up your hair to perfection, and you're ready to go!

Harry Styles Reveals Cryptic New Tattoos

One Direction's Harry Styles may have JUST turned 18 this year, but that hasn't held him back from diving head-first into that tattoo game. Last month, he inadvertently revealed some new shoulder ink filming 1D's "Live While We're Young" music video, and he reportedly has a half-sleeve in the works. The latest ink update was discovered by One Direction's notoriously wily superfans and resurfaced by the UK's Daily Mail: tattoos on his left side of a bird cage, laughing and crying masks, and the acronym "SMCL" (or "SNCL," we can't really tell).

Justin Bieber's love affair with leather is a story we know all too well, and the latest chapter was penned last night during his performance on ABC's Dancing With The Stars. The teen titan took to the DWTS stage for the show's 2-hour results premiere to perform a heavily-choreographed performance of his hit single "As Long As You Love Me.". Who of sound mind would perform a high-energy dance routine suited up in all-leather? Apparently Justin Bieber. But rest assured, he (and/or stylist Ryan Good) built in mechanisms for keeping cool.

Don't say we didn't warn you. From first wind of K Pop rapper PSY and his outrageously epic "Gangnam Style" music video, we knew this dude was one to watch ESPECIALLY on the fashion front. We broke down earwormy vid look by look and all its sunglasses-and-fine-suiting and tacked PSY onto our mental watchlist of budding dude fashion stars. Lo and behold, here he is starring in a new video teaser for a little something Jill Stuart has coming down the pipe called "Gangnam x New York Style." *strokes silky, silvery thinking beard*

The Backstreet Boys Sell Jeans For "Everybody" In Old Navy Commercial

If you were a tween girl back in 1996, you probably already have a medley of Backstreet Boys songs streaming through your head after reading their name in the headline of this post. It's like some kind of unavoidable physical reaction brought on by the fact that they are a near-perfect (nobody's perfect) boy band. The boys of Backstreet have been staging a comeback for over a year now, getting the whole band back together and creating a gelled-hair-juggernaut alongside 80's boy band legends New Kids On the Block, and now they're guaranteeing that everyone will once again have their songs stuck in their heads by invading our living rooms during commercial breaks in a new Old Navy ad. The commercial, which is for the retailer's new skinny jeans, changes "everybody" to "every body," and has women flocking to the runway after the sound of their voices. The clip is called "Rockstar Runway," and, although we feel like "Popstar Runway" might be a little bit more appropriate, it's a good fit for the boy band who just won't quit. One Direction's 'Live While We're Young' Music Video Shows Rare Unstyled Hair Moment

Die-hard One Direction fans have likely already watched the fab fivesome's "Live While We're Young" music video over and over (and over and over and OVER), too many times to count, after the short's unexpected lo-fi leak earlier today. Well, the 1D dudes decided to go ahead and give the world the high quality version of the first single off their sophomore album, Take Me Home, and it's every bit the adorably raucous music video we expected from the boy band prankstas (especially after those wet and wild on-set snaps). What we didn't expect, though, is that we'd ALSO get a rare glimpse at the dudes with their hair UNSTYLED. I mean, this is the group that came to their VMA rehearsal with stage-ready hair. To see them with sopping wet mops, let alone in a music video we can play and pause and screenshot at our will, is MAY-JOR. Moments like this are few and far between. Knowing this, we've captured them all and put them on the Internet FOR YOU. *wipes away single happy tear* You're so welcome.

It's truly a remarkable thing to see the normally pristinely maned Harry Styles with his hair SOAKING WET. What really shocks us is that while it's devoid all its former volume when wet, it still retains its signature windswept qualities. MAGICAL!

HOMG! It's a fortuitous day when in a single event boy bands and international Fashion Week collide before our eyes. Enter One Direction's Harry Styles at London Fashion Week and the (potentially fatal) brain explosion that has become our Tuesday afternoon. The 1D dude showed up at yesterday's Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013 show, making his front row debut and fueling the swirling rumors that he's dating Burberry face Cara Delevingne.

Zac Efron has come a long, loooong way since his High School Musical days. No longer the sweepy-banged, singing point guard of the late aughts, Efron has [insert whatever the most masculine version of "blossomed" is here] into a slobber-inducing man column of rippling triceps and sartorial excellence. This latest spread for BlackBook Magazine may not be as overtly sinewy as that Men's Health cover snap, but this gentlemanly steez is equally swoon-worthy. PLUS, he's cuddling with furry little animalfolk in every shot. AWWWWWW! *hearts grow and burst above head*

You guyyysss, New York Fashion Week is almost over. This means we won't get to spot some of our favorite celebs at shows from mere seats away or get to see them mingling with the commoners at presentations. HRMPH. While we're sad to see it end, we have to admit that yesterday's shows were certainly star-studded! Florence Welch showed off her typically stylish self at Proenza Schouler's spring 2013 show. She wore a fall 2012 chinoiserie-style wrap jacket and skirt ensemble paired with tie platform booties, a black clutch, and tons of stacked gold rings. She kept her makeup minimal, and let her GORGE hair color do all the talking.

Adam Lambert Switches Up His Outfit Three Times In One Day At NYFW

Sure, we've seen TONS of celebs at fashion week sporting their finest designer duds all over Lincoln Center, but we hadn't seen anyone switch up their ensemble more than once a day until *drum roll* Mr. Adam Lambert. Yesterday he changed outfits not once, not twice, but THREE times within the daylight hours, and for that, we need to bow down, y'all. He started off his Tuesday wearing a distressed gray suit jacket paired with a black button-up shirt and brocade pants. He accessorized with spiky black boots, circle sunglasses (that he wore in his suit pocket), stacked rings, and silver earrings. His beauty game was on lock (per usual) with his sleek and styled silvery hair paired with dark brows, a bit of mascara, and black nail polish. Me-ow!
