Drake's Dada meme gets a shirt in the "Yolo Polo."
Photo: Instagram/Drake Yolo Polo
Remember how back in May, photos started emerging from Drake's "No New Friends" video shoot with DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross? Between the helicopters, champagne in the hot tub, and Khaled's vaguely retirement chic wardrobe, the video looked a lot like a YMCMB/Maybach Music Group parody of Behind The Candelabra. But the MOST wave-making part of the whole thing was a behind-the-scenes photo of Drake wearing a bumblebee color palette Dada ensemble and shooting Rozay a round-the-shoulder look with this bizarro swag-creep gait. The photo took the interwebz by storm, erupting into a full-fledged meme, and after almost three months since its inception, it's still living strong thanks to this here "Yolo Polo."
Brooklyn (also, WORLD), get ready! Kanye West is performing at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, helping break in Barclays Center for its very first major awards show. Yeezy joins KAWS and Lady Gaga for the history-making 30th VMAs to perform "Black Skinhead," making history of his own by officially tying Madonna as the artist with the most VMA performances—come Sunday, August 25, Yeezus and Madge will be neck-and-neck with seven total. In honor of Ye's momentous return to the VMA stage and long history with the show, we took a look back at his previous performance outfits.
2004: CANDY PINK COLLEGE DROPOUT

Kanye today is larger than life, but even Kanye circa 2004 had a big VMA debut, performing a medley of chart-toppers from College Dropout—"Jesus Walks," "All Falls Down," and "Through The Wire"— with legendary Chaka Khan. The MC reworked his signature look at the time, a pink polo with the collar popped, for the occasion, opting instead for a striped Pepto Bismol pink button-up, pink satin tie, a black velveteen suit, and a big ol' smile.
Harry Styles' One Direction Office Depot Collection
Photo: Office Depot
Hey Directioners, you need to run, not walk, to Office Depot right now. Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayn, and Louis are here to ease your Back To School shopping woes with their faces! One Direction and Office Depot have joined together and created a collection of Back To School products that will definitely make you the coolest kid (or adult, whatever) in school (or at work). The collection, in addition to providing notebooks that you'll want to constantly take out of your bag and ogle, aims to create bully-free schools by donating a portion of the proceeds to Office Depot's Anti-Bullying Foundation. Each product is emblazoned with mottos to live by, so when Liam tells you to "Live True," and Harry says to "Live Nice," you probably should.
Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never" style: then and now.

Set your alarms, Beliebers! "Bieber O'Clock" strikes this Saturday, August 3 at 8 p.m. EST on MTV. Haven't heard of "Bieber O'Clock"? Welp, it's when MTV will start airing extra special, exclusive content from THE Justin Bieber himself leading up to the TV premiere of his throwback (OK, not that throwback; it was 2011) documentary, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. The film itself airs this Sunday at 8 p.m., but in preparation, we took a look back at the international pop superstar's steez from the movie and placed it side-by-side against looks from the past year to see how much (if anything) has changed since then. (Spoiler alert: a lot has *cough*tattoo sleeve*cough* but surprisingly, much as stayed the same.)
Snoop Dogg in his "Snoopermarket" Overstock.com commercial.
Do you ever think sometimes that maybe Snoop Dogg (or Snoop Lion, depending on the project/your vibe) sits around his house (in a plushy robe and house slippers, of course) and just brainstorms puns he could make with his name and how he could spin them into business ventures? Take the latest: The Snoopermarket, a collaboration (a.k.a. marketing stunt, depending on your tilt) with Overstock.com wherein the man stars in a commercial and curates a suite of his (and his family's) favorite products.
A still from One Direction's "Best Song Ever" behind-the-scenes video.

What's better than a little One Direction? A LOT of One Direction. We've been playing the colossally famous boy band's "Best Song Ever" music video on repeat for the past week, ogling their Teen Vogue AND British GQ cover steez and placing pre-orders for their glittery nail polish. You'd think we would have reached our 1D saturation point by now, but apparently, that's not actually a thing. So far, it's physically impossible for us to get our fill of Harry, Zayn, Liam, Niall, and Louis. Enter this behind-the-scenes cut from the dudes' music video shoot which gives a look at their "Best Song Ever" alter ego makeovers.
One Direction on the cover of "Teen Vogue."

Look, guys! It's One Direction on the cover of Teen Vogue! Feel like you're having déjà vu? Pretty sure you remember 1D JUST posing for the The Fashion Bible's younger sister really recently? Welp, you're not alone. And you're not wrong, either! The world's most adorable Brit-Irish boy band is gracing the cover of Teen Vogue for a second time, less than a year after the group's first appearance. Back in winter, Teen Vogue gave Harry, Zayn, Liam, Niall, and Louis individual covers swaddled in tweeds and wool knits—"Hot Holiday Style" was the predominant cover line. Now, the teen glossy has the dudes (deservedly) back for their September issue (a.k.a. the Super Bowl issue of the fashion editorial world)!
Jay Z might be next to collaborate with Barneys New York for the holidays.
Photo: Getty Images
Holy grail! According to our friends over at WWD, Jay Z (minus the hyphen) has been in "secret talks" with Barneys New York for a possible collaboration slated to drop during the holiday season. While neither party has confirmed the news, we can only hope (and write sweet letters to Santa) that the rumors become reality.
You might be saying to yourself, what could Jay Z bring to Barneys New York? Hellloooooooo??? He's JAY Z! He runs this town. C'mon, "Empire State of Mind" is pretty much the New York state song at this point. It makes perfect sense that the fashion mecca of the city gets cozy with its leader. Plus, Jay's interests have totally expanded over the years, from inciting a game changing partnership with Samsung for Magna Carta… Holy Grail, starting his own sports agency, to shutting down art galleries for his "Picasso Baby" music video shoot. There's no doubt, Hov won't conquer the fashion world, too. I mean, all he rocks is "Tom Ford"—and well, that speaks for itself.
Dennis Rodman evidently had a BLAST at this Miami Swim Week show.
Photo: Getty Images
In case you didn't already know, there are multiple international iterations of Fashion Week. Twice a year, runways circumvent the globe from New York to London to Milan to Paris, showcasing all the best and brightest that the world's design minds have to offer. There is also a Fashion Week for swimwear, and it takes place in (DUH) Miami. Granted, you know, it's not entirely the same as the Anna Wintour-trodden hallowed catwalks of NYFW (Miami Swim Week, instead welcomes Kardashians and our very own glass bikini-clad Kristin Cavallari with open arms), the 5-day long event draws in its own special league of front row fixtures. Most notably this year? Retired American Hall of Fame NBA player Dennis Rodman. And that's not just because he's a basketball legend, or because he was the key to VICE's entry into North Korea, or because he's the only dude whose lifetime total of hairstyles might rival (or even eclipse) Nicki Minaj's either. While we weren't there ourselves, we peeped the photos from the Anna Kosturova/Beach Riot/Lolli Swim/Manglar/Indah show which he attended on Monday, July 22, and it looks like The Worm had a certifiable BLAAAAST.
Miguel for Mr Porter.
Photo: Mr Porter/Ben Weller
Wow. Throw up some claps with me for Mr Porter, y'all. The menswear e-tailer has knocked yet ANOTHER dude-torial spread and interview out of the park with this Miguel feature. You might remember the austere minimalism of their Jared Leto shoot or the streetwear-inspired steez of their session with A$AP Rocky or, like, a bazillion other drool-worthy photo sets they've put together with our favorite dapper dudes. (I mean, honestly, it's like they jacked the list from our
diaries of future boyfriends brains and are just checking projects off as they work their way down...) This time, Miguel gets his turn in the Mr Porter spotlight with a candid heartfelt interview, a spread full of chic autumn/winter wardrobe staples, AND *drumrollllll* an acoustic performance of "How Many Drinks?" to boot!
