With the end of the year nigh, we've been reviewing 2013's most stylish stars. We rounded up the musical dudes and ladies whose aesthetic had you talking, we looked at how Miley Cyrus totally nailed the '90s, and we realized that this was totally the year of the designer track.
We now turn our attention to the stars of our very own MTV shows. When they're not crowding our TVs with their beautiful faces, they're stunning on red carpets, sitting front row at Fashion Week, and heading their own fashion empires. MTV stars are a busy bunch, y'all. *hair flip* Let's see what some of their biggest fashion moments were this year!
Holland Roden's 2013 looks.

It's no secret that we LOVE Holland Roden. Sure, we liked her before April, but after watching her slay as MTV.com's Movie Awards Red Carpet correspondent, we fell even harder. Look at the plunging neckline on her black DKNY dress! While her Teen Wolf wardrobe errs on the preppy side, IRL Holland dabbles in menswear-inspired looks in feminine patterns and colors. She also sat front row at five New York Fashion Week shows, so we expect her 2014 style to be as edgy as ever.
Joe gets festive with a feline.

We interrupt your viewing of Beyonce's self-titled visual album for a (less) important announcement: Joe Jonas posted a photo on Instagram and *GASP* he's ... BALD. And no, not like, buzz-cut bald. He's, like, the-before-shot-of-a-Hair-Club-for-Men-ad kind of bald. Has the stress of the JoBros breakup taken a drastic toll on the middle brother's follicles? Was he wearing a hairpiece all along? Is he a 40-year-old man IRL who lives at home with his mother and has fooled us all into thinking he's actually a 24-year-old pop star?! *pauses for dramatic effect* No! (PHEW.) None of the above, thankfully. Joe Jonas is just a jokester with some really great Photoshop #skillz.
Bieber's new kicks?

Over the weekend, Justin Bieber shared a photo of some fresh white kicks with the caption, "New Adidas I designed." Say whaaat? Man, Bieber really IS following in Kanye's footsteps. First, he wears a kilt in his "All That Matters" video, and now he's designing shoes for Adidas? Swag. Unfortunately, other than this Instagram post, little information has been shared about this apparent collaboration. One source told us that they could possibly hit shelves in the spring, but nothing will be confirmed until after the holidays. HMPH! *crosses arms, pouting* We don't appreciate being teased, especially where shoes are concerned. Shoes and/or Justin Bieber, actually. (The lengthy lead-up to that short film for The Key was pure agony.)
Selfies were errywhere this year. Oxford Dictionaries named selfie the word of 2013, which, based on celebrity Instagram accounts, makes total sense. Celebs love taking selfies and we, as bloggers and breathing humans, love looking at said selfies. We've come to rely on them to tell us what our faves are wearing, where they are, and who they're hanging with. It isn't until you look through every Instagram of Rihanna's from the past year that you truly appreciate just how much the badgal loves sharing her face/her new hair color/her products with the rest of the world. But Ri's not the only one doing it. We've rounded up our favorite selfies from the past year so you can peep 'em and refer back when taking GPOYs of your own. Enjoy!
NICKI MINAJ: MOST SELFIES NOT FOCUSED ON HER FACE
Nicki Minaj shares her selfies with two special guests.
For most people, selfies are all about the face. Obviously, Nicki Minaj is not like most people. Her selfies tend to draw attention to the two assets that sit below eye level and could easily stay out of frame. Nicki got bolder about baring as the year went on. While she began 2013 with some heavy cleavage, by the end she was straight-up giving us full-frontal pasties. Her Halloween costume, in case you couldn't tell, was a police officer. It's been a while since we've gotten any Instagrams from her Minajesty, so we're hoping she's planning to make up for lost time in 2014.
When a guy can carve a niche for himself as a paragon of style, it's a truly impressive feat. I mean, HULLO, dudes do not have the same range of options as ladies do. It's a lot harder to keep your look fresh and fashion-forward without peplum skirts and crop tops and a variety of heels. But there is an elite tier of dudes who have done exactly that in 2013.
We pay attention to the stories you're reading, tweeting, and posting on Facebook. Based on all that, we've put together a list of your 10 favorite stylish studs from the past 365 days. Now we need your help to crown the winner. One Direction won as a group last year, but only Harry and Zayn are nominated this time around. Will one of them come out on top, or will they split the 1D vote, leaving room for a new champion? It's up to you, so be sure to vote for your fave dude below. And act quickly because the poll closes after Wednesday, December 18th!

Harry Styles is a fashion icon. But you don’t have to take our word for it—all of Europe says so. (Pretty much.) The youngest member of One Direction beat out ~actual~ models for the title of British Style Icon at this year’s British Fashion Awards AND took home the award for Best Look at the MTV EMA. The dude wears quirky, printed button-ups and black skinny jeans like nobody’s business, and somehow manages to make bed head appropriate for every situation.
Last night in the motherland of Nike, otherwise known as Portland, Oregon, Drake took a concert breather to let the crowd know he drove 28 hours through a snowstorm to stand there before them. He praised the city's roaring populace of bicyclists and single women. And then he announced his induction into the Team Jordan family, claiming it was the best day of his life. Not long after, he posted some teaser pics to his Instagram account.
Last week, Kanye West said "OK BAHYE" to Nike after a five-year partnership and signed a reported $10 million deal with Adidas. Three Stripes publicly confirmed their alliance yesterday.
COINCIDENCE? Prooooooooobably not.

Harry Styles is going to need a bigger trophy case if he keeps winning all these style icon awards. At the MTV EMA he won the award for "Best Look" and, now, he was named "British Style Icon" at the 2013 British Fashion Awards. British style icon and king of my heart: you're killin' it, Mr. Styles.
When Harry won his award at the MTV EMA, we were like, "Duh, look at how he pulls off bold prints. Also, that hair!" Back then, we didn't know how he could work the runway. We didn't know how a casually draped scarf looked around his neck. I mean, look at that thing (see above)! Of course he's winning all the awards. He even wore black jeans with intact knees to the ceremony. He didn't even bestow that honor upon the Midnight Memories album cover. Or to the premiere of This Is Us. He was vying for this award. Hard.
A still from Justin Bieber's "All That Matters" music video.

It's hard to tear your eyes away from all the mouth action (yea, I said it) happening in Justin Bieber's "All That Matters" music video, but if you are of sound enough mind and strong enough will to do so, you may have noticed something peculiar about the wardrobe. And no, I'm not talking about that blonde girl in the denim overall crop top that may or may not be from Rihanna's debut River Island collection. It seems The Biebs has pulled a page from Kanye's book of answers with this video steez by wearing a KILT. And a leather one, at that! Yep, the pop wunderkind took a momentary break from his super-saggy (not to be confused with swaggy), butt-baring pants in favor of these Rick Owens leather skinnies with an attached matching kilt.
He rocks Tom Ford.

ICYMI: Jay Z doesn't pop Molly, he rocks Tom Ford. Oh. You've heard his song "Tom Ford," and you already knew that? Well, apparently, Jay doesn't think we got the message. Or maybe he just loves Tom Ford THAT much. Or, even more likely, Mr. Carter realizes that his words are good enough to wear. Last night, Jay Z kicked off his Magna Carta World Tour in St. Paul, Minnesota and took to the stage in a custom, black and white jersey tee emblazoned with lyrical references to his standout hit, "Tom Ford." Hov repped the designer's name on the back of the shirt, along with Ford's birth year (1961) and the word "Molly" crossed out.

HEY, MEN. Want long, luxurious locks like Harry Styles? You're in luck! Great Lengths, a British hair extension company, has a line of "Men-Hancements" (LOL), which the men of London are using on the regular. British men are so into extensions that the company says that men will account for 10% of their sales this year. That's a lot of "men-hancements," y'all!
The site has pictures of models and men who decided to "men-hance" themselves and, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but none of them come close to approximating the undone, voluminous coiffure that's now signature to Harry. That hair, with its front height and side curls cannot (and should not, IMHO) be attempted by anyone else: we saw that last week in the One Direction ad for Macy's.
