Listen, man. We know you're super busy on your Believe World Tour. And we know you're going to be saddled up on that grind through the summer. We're fully aware that your voice and your ability to perform are your livelihood, so you need all the free moments you can get to rest up and take care of those golden pipes and fancy feet. (Can we say you have fancy feet?) BUT BIEBS! (Can we call you Biebs?) Your HAIR is totally another huge part of your miraculous YouTube-to-international-superstar fame machine. You've since shed the 360-swoop "Bieber Hair" of your youth, but that hasn't altered our fascination with your locks' every windswept switch and product-aided kick-ball-change. That's why we're humbly asking you this teeny, tiny, truly infinitesimal favor: can you, like, start a morning hair Tumblr already, or what?

We've been tracking the fashion in the new flick The Place Beyond The Pines for a while now, and how could we not? I mean, METALHEAD WARDROBE, people! But while the on-set stills have given us plenty to talk about as we wait for the movie's release this weekend, Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper's premiere looks are an entirely different topic of discussion on their own. The two stars hit the red carpet last night in New York City looking dapper as usual, but with some, um, unusual twists to the traditional formal dude uniform.

Sometimes polarizing but always anticipated, XXL Magazine dropped their 2013 Freshman Class cover late last night. The annual hip hop staple featured a TON of MTV Style's favorite emerging MCs (ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Action Bronson, Trinidad James, and of COURSE our girl Angel Haze), but we're taking this moment to single out Joey Bada$$. Not to play favorites or anything (though dude did play our mtvU Woodies festival this year), but Joey is working a look on this cover which begs to be highlighted: a one-of-one Ecko Unltd. t-shirt honoring Capital Steez.

Adam Levine Shows Off His Tatts On The Cover Of 'Nylon Guys'

Adam Levine is your textbook hunk. Rakish and charming, with enough tattoos to certainly qualify as a bad boy, the Maroon 5 front man has everything a girl is looking for in a bad idea. Did we mention that he can now add actor to his already impressive resume? Oh, and he looks really good in a white t-shirt. All of these reasons and then some landed Levine the May cover of Nylon Guys, and frankly it's a little hard to stop staring. Looking straight into the camera with an inscrutable look on his scruffy face, Levine poses in his signature white long sleeved henley and a pair of army green pants, his tiger tattoo prominent right below the cover line. In the accompanying interview, the singer and The Voice judge drops enough f-bombs to make a good girl blush, but he also proves himself to be pragmatic and actually kind of down to earth. When asked about rumors that Shakira makes more money than him, Levine emphatically replies, “She’s Shakira dude! She’s a f****** international superstar! I don’t care. It’s just money.” Levine has sold over 17 million records, so...pot calling international superstar black much, no? We can't lie, we're still pretty charmed, though.

Welp, I guess it's about time we own up. We need to apologize, to you and to ourselves, for being selfish over here at MTV Style. Sure, we tune in to dude fashion news every now and then, but that happens almost exclusively when ogling is involved. If this latest Kanye West x Giuseppe Zanotti question is any indication of the kinds of things we miss by keeping tunnel vision locked on women's fashion, though, it's high time we start paying closer attention to the wonderful world of menswear. You see, somehow in all our excitement about this duo's collaborative lady shoes, we completely overlooked that these two might have/probably/MAYBE teamed up for some men's sneakers!

Zac Efron Smolders On The Cover Of 'Flaunt'

OK, so this just has to be said: when we laid eyes on Zac Efron's new Flaunt magazine cover, the first sounds out of our mouths WERE NOT ENGLISH. They weren't even words! It was more like, "Ohhahhhooowhat?" and it took everyone in the office a full five minutes to recover from this little episode. We're telling you this slightly embarrassing recollection because a.) it's true and b). it's proof that Zac, with his 5 o'clock shadow, his groomed (but not too groomed) coif, and his baby blue eyes gazing dreamily off the page, STILL possesses an inexplicable magic power over us. No matter how old you are, no matter how awkward you might feel, there's no denying it. Embrace the hotness that is Zac Efron! After all, it's really nothing new. But whereas most recently we saw the actor put his glistening muscles on display in John John Denim's campaign, for the April issue of Flaunt he does a complete 180 and shows his softer side.

A$AP Rocky's 'Wild For The Night' Music Video: Look By Look

As purveyors of all things that intersect music and style, a brand new A$AP Rocky music video is a major event right here at MTV Style Headquarters. It's not just because we all agree that dude is mad handsome with excellent bone structure and the kind of killer smile that only comes with warding off coffee for life, BUT ALSO because you can almost always be sure that a new video from this Harlem MC will yield a stacked lineup of ensembles and that it'll be BEGGING to be broken down look by look. "Wild For The Night" features Rocky and Skrillex (and A$AP Ferg, A$AP Yams, and even a little A$AP Lou moment) on location in the Dominican Republic. From the cameos to the exotic locale, the short doesn't disappoint in any department, especially not style. The video wardrobe runs the gamut from high fashion to streetwear (and in this case, a whole lot of a throwback collaboration that bridges them both). Thus, the little run-down we're kicking off right now. Peep all 7 (yes, 7!) looks PLUS A$AP Rocky's brand new music video for "Wild For The Night" featuring Skrillex after the jump!

A$AP Rocky And Alexander Wang Chat For 'Interview' Magazine

We've known for a minute that A$AP Rocky and Alexander Wang are buds. They share similar tastes in fashion and music and bridge the two effortlessly every time they link up—whether that's by Rocky wearing Wang's threads for a magazine shoot, the two collaborating on a campaign video, or (our favorite) setting up a li'l video chat date. For their latest issue, Interview magazine didn't just swaddle the Harlem MC in high fashion for photographs (as he's proven to be so. good. at. doing.). Instead, they put him on the phone with Wang, sat back, and transcribed.

Derek Erdman: The Artist Behind Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' Custom Jean Jackets [Interview]

Ever since we were first blown away by their fashion-centric "Thrift Shop" music video (and track, let's be honest) late last year, we've kept our eyes squarely locked on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' every sartorial move. When they make it rain on the Jimmy Fallon studio audience with a box of second-hand clothes, we notice. When Mack guest edits for a sneaker blog, we write about it. And when the dudes show up to The Ellen DeGeneres Show bearing gifts, specifically a thrifted jean jacket with Ellen's bust painted on the back, we remember it forever. THUS, you can imagine our collective ish-flipping when, at the end of their SXSW interview with Canadian research oracle Nardwuar, the Seattle-based duo handed The Human Serviette his OWN bananas unreal custom jean jacket.

The one-two punch of these poppy Ellen and Nardwuar toppers was too much to ignore, so we made it our mission to track down their artist Derek Erdman. (Actually, we're dramatizing. It was a really easy Google because Macklemore already ID'ed him during the interview.) In keeping with Mack's M.O. of repping for The Emerald City, Erdman is a Seattle, Washingtonian (though he's moved there only recently by way of Chicago). A quick scan through his most recent paintings and we catapulted from casual fans to full-blown obsession, pouring over hilariously irreverent pieces like Phoebe Cats (a reimagining of Phoebe Cates's iconic Fast Times with CATS) and a LeBron James bench brought to life for the sole purpose of pissing off jilted Cleveland Cavaliers fans. We caught up with Derek Erdman (hot on the heels of a LOL-worthy Sub Pop Records scandal [kind of, but not really]) via a very glamorous email chain to chat about his art, working with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and other stuff like uniforms and sausage hands. ENJOY!
