This weekend, Pyrex Vision caught another major milestone for its early sophomore season. The budding line, helmed by Kanye West's style consultant Virgil Abloh, launched an exhibit at legendary Paris store Colette alongside the release of the All Gone book's 2012 edition. The event drew a select but sizable crowd including Yeezy himself and Theophilus London to the French boutique to celebrate the latest in stylish streetwear.
Michelle Obama with President Barack Obama at the 2013 Inaugural Ball.
It was on this same night four years ago that Jason Wu went from a young designer to a household name, as the then brand new first lady Michelle Obama walked out in one of his dresses at the inaugural ball. He's had a big couple of years, scoring a collab with Target and launching Miss Wu, but being selected to once again dress the FLOTUS on one of her biggest nights is nothing short of a coup for the designer. The custom made chiffon and velvet dress the first lady wore to dance with her husband to "Lets Stay Together," sung by Jennifer Hudson, was nothing short of breathtaking, with a high, halter neckline and draped back. Choosing red, rather than her first inauguration's bridal white was spectacular, and Obama looked fresh and fierce with her brand new bangs.

Happy Inauguration Day, America! If you're anything like us, you just watched President Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony unfold in the heart of Washington D.C. with dramatic and star-studded performances from James Taylor, Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce. And while that was all happening, you couldn't help but stare at Sasha, Malia and Michelle Obama, admiring the impeccably dressed and color-coordinated Obama ladies and wondering where you might be able to cop such stately togs for yourself. Well, we have good news: we've started to identify the cool color palette coat ensembles worn by the fashionable first family!
Zosia Mamet, Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke and Allison Williams at the 'Girls' premiere on Jan. 9 in New York.

To say we're excited for the season two premiere of Girls (January 13!) would be the understatement of the year—but as ecstatic as we are to see our four favorite ladies grace the small screen once again, we'll admit we love nothing more than spotting Zosia Mamet, Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke and Allison Williams decked out in their own real life outfits. Last night at the Girls premiere in New York, all four actresses went with the tried-and-true (and total New York staple) black with, of course, their own personal spin on each ensemble.
Listen, we know that New Year's Eve was over 24 hours ago now, but we honestly couldn't sleep soundly if we spent another minute of 2013 without rehashing all of our favorite celebrity celebration looks. Plus, you've probably exhausted your Facebook/Instagram news feed of NYE photos by now. From the punchy matching color palettes of Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Justin Bieber to the glittering ball drop staples of Mariah Carey, JWOWW, Snooki, and Nicki Minaj, the stars turned up the style to usher in 2013 and even repped some solid trends for the new year.
RED AND BLACK COLOR BLOCK
Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Justin Bieber rang in the new year in red and black color palettes.

Performing wasn't the only thing Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Justin Bieber had in common on New Year's Eve. The three pop superstars also sported matching color block ensembles of black and red to usher in 2013. T.Swizzle hit the Times Square stage in a red zippered moto jacket by IRO with black leather skinnes and knee-high patent Jimmy Choo boots. Carly Rae reversed the color combo wearing a black crop top and fingerless gloves with bright red flanking the bottom of her ensemble via a voluminous floor-length, self-striped skirt by Sachin + Babi. Not to be out-done by the ladies, Justin Bieber's TWO New Year's Eve outfits (yes, he had two) both utilized the festive color palette: a black vest + tee + drop-crotch pants performance outfit accessorized with red velcro high-tops and red blazer ensemble off-stage.
The moment we heard Adam Lambert would be hosting AND performing in this year's VH1 Divas concert, we knew there would be a solid amount of wardrobe changes in store for us. Sure enough, Glambert did NOT disappoint, serving up close to ten different ensembles in the two hour-long live event. In honor of Adam's parade of fashion adventurism, we present you with the following outfit breakdown. Enjoy!
LITTLE LEOPARD, BIG FUR

From his first step on the
red purple carpet, it was clear Adam was pulling out all the style stops as the night's host. Rather than the leather and black wardrobe palette we're so used to seeing Adam in, he chose to make his VH1 Divas entrance in a lot of furry chestnut brown with touches of amber leopard print. ME-OW!
Iggy Azalea and Natasha Bedingfield wear The Blonds for VH1 Divas.

Tonight was the night of the eighth VH1 Divas televised concert, and if there's one thing that can amp us up on a Sunday night, it's a two-hour long belt-filled, run-riddled, tribute to music's iconic lady powerhouses. Among the star-studded lineup, Natasha Bedingfield and Iggy Azalea banded together with legendary Bootsy Collins to perform Deee-Lite's "Groove Is In The Heart." A high energy, high profile, high octane performance like that demands an outfit that does WERQUE. Enter The Blonds — a fashion house that oozes diva status.

If you're looking for a way to lift your spirits before all the holiday madness hits, we've got JUST the thing—an NYC art exhibition featuring Hello Kitty! The "Hello Kitty, Hello Art!" pop-up, which runs all weekend long at the Openhouse Gallery, features some of our favorite designers (like Betsey Johnson and Paul Frank) and artists (like Dabs Myla and Tokidoki's Simone Legno) showcasing their take on the oh-so-lovable Sanrio characters. Last night we stopped by the launch party to peep all the goodness, and, boy, we were hit with some serious surprises. First off, Betsey Johnson herself made an appearance and took some killer pics next to her artwork (peep one after the jump!), and we also got to chat up the L.A.-via-Australia art duo Dabs Myla to get ALL the deets behind their collection. (You might remember their graffiti work from the Drew Barrymore-directed "Our Deal" supervideo featuring Chloe Moretz.) Check out what the twosome, who, yes, are actually named Dabs and Myla, had to say about their Hello Kitty collab below! (And please note how adorably they finish each others sentences.)
Miguel performing on Big & Best of 2012.
Happy 12-12-12 everyone! You might be thinking, what's the big deal, it's just a date, and yes, we feel you but also did you know that the next triple digit date alignment won't happen until the year 2101?! Not to get all real-talk depressing but that means today will be the last time this happens in our lifetime. Heavy. On a happier note, though, MTV is pulling out all of the stops all day long with Big & Best of 2012. The live stream, which began at, you guessed it, 12 pm EST today, has already included performances from Miguel and First Aid Kit, Demi Lovato and Joan Smalls' top moments of 2012, and more! And that's only the beginning...In the hours to come, you can watch performances from A$AP Rocky, Bruno Mars and more, AND get your first look at Taylor Swift's new video for "I Knew You Were Trouble."
We CANNOT wait to see Tay sport the pink dip dye job we caught a sneak peek of in her interview with MTV News. The queen of kittens and cookies all punked out? Yes please. In the meantime, though, we're going to be watching performances from Metric, Alt J and more, as well as obsessively watching Miguel's "Adorn" performance and drooling. Wait, did we say that out loud?
For all that and more, head to BigandBestof2012.com right now!
Stick with MTV as we count down the Best of 2012, including the Best Songs of 2012, Live Performances, Movies and EDM Videos of the year.
