It was just a week ago that Nasty Gal announced that they would be showing their debut collection at New York Fashion Week this year. We were excited, as you can imagine, to see it in September, so imagine our surprise (and delight) when we discovered that the collection is already available for purchase online, and with free overnight shipping, no less! The eclectic retailer, which started as an eBay vintage shop before expanding to independent e-retail, has expanded with lightning quickness, and we're psyched to see their mix of sexy, sometimes very boundary pushing pieces with ultra cool, on trend pieces that they curate for their store reflected in a collection. Check out our favorite pieces after the jump!

Minnie Mouse

Minnie Mouse ears hit Australia's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival.

It's hard to say when exactly this Minnie Mouse fashion craze first kicked off. Was it because of Kreayshawn's pink metallic Minnie ears in her anti-luxury brand anthem "Gucci Gucci?" Or maybe it was the moment two pint-sized fashion besties pushed on a pair at Disneyland last year? Whatever the reason or moment of origin, Minnie and her trademark polka-dotted bow are irrefutably more in vogue than ever, as evidenced most recently by the crop of her signature ears that Gail Sorronda used for her most recent showing at Australia's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival.

It's that time of year again! As August just begins to relinquish its blazing hot stronghold, we know September is right around the corner. And what, pray tell, happens in September? NEW YORK FASHION WEEK, of course! And in September, the style extravaganza is officially kicked off with a major night of shopping for a cause: Fashion's Night Out on Thursday, September 6. The annual nationwide event is marked by stores staying open late, great deals, exclusive limited edition merch, and a GLUT of celebrity involvement. Don't believe us? Take a look at Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift fronting this year's FNO video campaign.

Apparently Nasty Gal is going to be at Fashion Week this season. No, we don't just mean on all the street style shutterbug candy. According to a new sweepstakes announcement from the brand, it looks like Iggy Azalea and Katie Holmes won't be the only fashionistas making their New York Fashion Week debuts this September. In just five years, the online retailer which began as an exclusively vintage eBay boutique expanded to the international success we know it to be today. Now, it seems the Nasty brand is growing from a hub of curated designs by others and brancing out into their own designs, launching their first collection just in time for NYFW.

Universitaet der Kuenste

The jumbo hair clip resurfaces at the Universitaet der Kuenste Berlin Fashion Week show.

Remember when we were all, "OMG, would you wear this JUMBO HAIR CLIP??" We told you about how these neon reimaginings of the childhood hair stand-by were the brainchild of Adia Kibur, and in our humble collective opinion, one part weird, three parts wonderful. Sure, they were oddball and even a bit gaudy, but there was a sweet nostalgia about these envelope-pushing hair accessories we really appreciated. Welp, looks like the snap clip silhouette has since found its way onto the international Fashion Week runways (specifically Berlin's) and is even bigger than before!

Often when we think of Paris Haute Couture (you know, as we do), we imagine the world's best designers going buck wild, cobbling together teetering two-story-high platform heels, dreaming up dresses that look more like architectural masterpieces than cocktail party wear, and concocting hairstyles that seem to defy all laws of physics and gravity. The designs that traipse down the runways during this biannual City of Lights affair are often too fairy-tale fantastic for us to ever envision pulling off IRL. However, that doesn't mean there aren't real trends buried in the bells and whistles and Hot Wheels racetrack harnesses of Paris Haute Couture Week, though. Walk with us as we unpack some of the week's most relevant trends!

Nearly every designer at Haute Couture Week had a version of the jumpsuit, and most were printed, embellished, or constructed from metallic jacquard. Many of the long-pants onesies were also long-sleeved, like these looks from Zuhair Murad, Jantaminiau, and Valentino. But, a few, like this number by Jean Paul Gaultier, modelled by Karli Kloss, were strapless with a jacket worn over top.

Katie Holmes

Following the news that Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise late last week, this post-TomKat chapter is quickly shaping up to be a pretty prolific one for the actress. On top of landing a spot as cover girl Elle magazine's upcoming August issue, WWD reports that Katie and co-designer Jeanne Yang will make their New York Fashion Week debut this September.

M.I.A., Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, Elizabeth Banks

This weekend, Versace made its monumentous return to the Ritz hotel for the first time since Gianni Versace gave his last show there in 1997. The grand homecoming was marked by a collection Donatella prepared in honor of her late brother and a seriously star-studded front row. A varied crowd of celebrity Versace fans, including M.I.A., Glee's Cory Monteith and Lea Michele, and screen siren Elizabeth Banks, turned it out for the milestone event, and we HAVE to say, these ladies and gents looked HOTT (two t's absolutely necessary)!

Maybe it's true that ready-to-wear women's fashions get a whopping eight weeks (that's two months, if you're counting) out of the year devoted to them. And that only semi-annually do their male counterparts enjoy an extra-special, 100% dedicated Fashion Week of their own - one in June and another in January. Maybe it's true that we are built biologically differently, and therefore, need different cuts and silhouettes to put together figure-flattering outfits. But let's face it, we're selfish. And the togs trotting down these Milan Spring 2013 Men's Fashion Week runways are just too good to ignore. Thus, here are our favorite looks from the past week that we want to borrow from the boys. Hey, if swiping dudes' styles is good enough for Alexa Chung, better BUH-LIEVE it's good enough for us!

What do you even SAY about this?? We're dying over this Moschino shirt and shorts combo. The tiled "FRESH" and vaguely Budweiser reminiscient label pattern is nothing like we've ever seen before - combining not only our love for mixed prints but ALSO the patriotic color palette is so up our Americana-loving alley. Who knew we'd be head over heels for supermarket chic?

Ed Westwick Men's Fashion Week

Ed Westwick walks during the Philipp Plein Spring/Summer 2013 show during Milan Fashion Week on June 23.
Photo: Getty Images

Listen, we always take fashion week VERY seriously over here at MTV Style, and when it comes to men's clothing, it's no different. But when we spotted Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick walking during Philipp Plein's spring/summer 2013 show in Milan over the weekend, we couldn't help but let out a girly giggle. The typically smooth and stylish Mr. Westwick was sporting a teeny tiny John Waters-esque moustache, and, hehehehe, it was kind of hard to take him seriously with that facial hair. Like, we KNOW he can kill it as a model (see: Ed's K-Swiss ad campaign), but what's up with this creepy facial fuzz on the runway? *side eye* It's certainly killing his model-y steez, and we no likey.
