The shows may be all about the clothes, but here at MTV Style, they're also all about the music. The models are only on the catwalk for a few minutes, but at the best shows, the audience is not only transported by the looks they're watching strut up and down the runway, but also by the overall experience that's created. The music chosen to showcase the collection says a lot about the overall philosophy behind it, and so it's without a doubt one of the most important aspects of the whole show. For their Fall/Winter 2013 menswear show at Pitti Uomo in Florence, Italy, Kenzo complemented their "Jungle in the Sky" theme with an ethereal yet hard-hitting mix from Jamie xx. Building from sparkly chimes and smooth sax into minimalist percussion and then a dreamy piano and synth melody, the 9 minute mix combines elements of ambient sound, spacious house beats, and sassy interjections. Basically, it captures the sporty, clean feel of the clothes themselves to a T. Sad you didn't get to be there to see it yourself?
