Oh. My. Gah. The 2013 Grammys are officially over, and we have to say—this has been one of the best dressed events to date. Everyone looked so classy and cool in their simply chic gowns (and suits!), and we're still dying over it. Rihanna stunned us in a sizzling red number while Taylor Swift went the Grecian goddess route in a plunging white gown, but overall, we are super proud of our top 10 Grammy red carpet picks because they are just STUNNING. Check 'em out below!

We've already said so many words about Beyonce's Oman Yousefzada jumpsuit. How it reminded us of her leaked Vogue cover and how she and Hov were totes matchy-matchy. But it's the poised boss lady elegance of the look amidst all those wardrobe malfunctions waiting to happen that lands her on our Best Dressed list.

Rihanna Grammys 2013

While it could be argued that Rihanna stayed on the safer side with that CBS nudity code in her red carpet custom Alaia dress, let's be real. There's NO denying the coverage— or lack thereof— when Riri took the stage. She first stepped out with Mikky Ekko to sing her single "Stay," dressed in a body-hugging slip dress also by Alaia. The pop star's been rocking the underwear-as-outerwear thing nonstop recently (coughTerryRichardsoncough), but her initial stage look was simple, chic, and no frills...much like the stripped-down performance itself. But don't worry, y'all! Obviously it was only a matter of time before Rihanna sent audience hearts racing (and people at home WILLING for a wardrobe malfunction) in her crop top and striped skirt combo during the Bob Marley tribute with Bruno Mars and Sting.

Jennifer Lopez 2013 Grammys

Almost exactly a year ago, Angelina Jolie debuted her infamous right leg at the Oscars and, lucky for us, it's baaaccckk! On the Grammys red carpet, Jennifer Lopez sported a black, one-shoulder Anthony Vaccarello satin gown with a slit up to gosh-knows-where, and we can't stop staring it. (Sorry!) If you can tear your eyes away from her toned thighs, you'll see she accessorized with killer strappy gold and black stilettos, a gold paneled clutch, SERIOUSLY impressive bangles, and diamond stud earrings. For her beauty game, she pulled her hair back into a tight high bun and went for black liner all around her eyes. She finished the look with a glossy nude lip and bronzed cheeks. But, um, have y'all peeped her nails yet? IN. SANE.

Remember how CBS issued that wardrobe advisory for the 2013 Grammys? Their short blurb of arguably clunky language stumbled over chuckle-worthy dress code edicts like, "Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack," and "Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples," and quite possibly our personal favorite, "Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible 'puffy' bare skin exposure." WOWOWOW. *shudders, dry heaves* We're still not totally sure what "puffy" skin is a euphemism for, but there was probably a star on the Grammys red carpet that bunked it since SO many ladies and gents (ex: Rihanna, Katy Perry, Kelly Rowland, deadmau5 just to rattle off a few) knowingly broke the rules. Need a more in-depth breakdown? We can do that for you. LEGGO!

Rihanna just finished another performance and wore a severely cropped top that we're sure jump-started so many crossed fingers and toes for a wardrobe malfunction, but it's RiRi's red custom Alaia that first landed her on the dress code offenders list. While beautiful, the one-off gown directly conflicts with the, "Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples," note. We're sure the self-proclaimed bad gal would have one response to that: #phuckyodresscode.

Taylor Swift 2013 Grammys

Wow, talk about coordination! We first swooned over Taylor Swift's glittery J.Mendel gown when she stepped onto the Grammys red carpet earlier tonight, but LITTLE DID WE KNOW then that this wasn't the last we'd see of the pop star glittering in silver and white. In fact, just moments later Tay swapped out her Grecian dress for a glam ringleader-inspired ensemble when she opened the awards show with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." Maybe she loved her EMA performance outfit SO much, she wanted to repeat the look? Instead of bold red sequins like last time, though, tonight Taylor kept things light in a long white coat, white shorts, and a white top hat adorned with sparkly silver embellishments. It's almost like she's rocking out in a really glamorous circus, and we're all invited to the show — so let the theatrics begin!

Florence Welch is always on her fashion grind, so we knew she would wear something eye catching on the 2013 Grammys red carpet. We were NOT, however, expecting what we got, which was a custom Givenchy gown that was downright reptilian. With deep emerald green sequins and, yes, spikes covering the shoulders and neckline, the dress goes amazingly with Flo's signature red hair, but also has that little bit of quirkiness that we love from her. Our red carpet correspondent Karlie Kloss caught up with Florence on the carpet to talk the dress, the nails, and the beauty.

Beyonce and Jay-Z at the 2013 Grammy Awards.

In a stark contrast to her Super Bowl halftime show outfit, Beyonce stood out on the 2013 Grammys red carpet by being covered up. Bey's been on a black-and-white ensemble kick recently from her striped rehearsal onesie to her hotly coveted geometric jacquard leggings, but her most major grayscale moment of late HAS to be her leaked Vogue magazine cover wherein King Bey is rocking minimalist retro makeup and a crisp asymmetrical Givenchy look. Bey carries over the stark black-and-white steez over to Grammy night with this Osman Yousefzada short-sleeved pantsuit. While many other ladies were busy raising eyebrows and breaking dress code, Bey strictly adhered and still looked certifiably bananas. She kept her beauty subdued with an austere center-parted pony and bright red lips. Mod AND modest. The best part? She and her No. 1 boo-slice, hubby Jay-Z are MATCHING in the classic colorway. (Also maybe repping the Brooklyn Nets?) Oh Mrs. Carter, you make our hearts sing.

Katy Perry 2013 Grammys

Welp, we ALMOST made it through the entire 2013 Grammys red carpet without someone breaking the oh-so-detailed CBS dress code, but leave it to Katy Perry to sport a seriously revealing ensemble. YOWZA. The singer showed up in a chest-baring mint green Gucci gown with floral embellishments all around the necklace. But, um, if we're going to be totally honest, we can't stop staring at what's beneath it. O___O The original "Wardrobe Advisory" was sent out last week and stated things like, "Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered," and that "bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic." Oh. Whoops. Looks like Katy didn't get the memo...

Did Rihanna adhere to the CBS Grammy dress code?! Her custom Alaia gown is slightly (or very) see-through, depending who you follow on Twitter, which means she's probably breaking those "no nudity" rules that the powers that be issued earlier this week. But still, we've gotta admit: despite the sheerness, tonight Ri played it slightly safer than we expected. Proving to everyone that old fashioned glamour is sometimes really ALL you need to make a statement, the singer swapped out lowcut gowns of years past for this cherry criss-crossed frock. Pairing the custom piece with cascading ombre locks and bright makeup, leave it to Rihanna to show it's totally cool to coordinate your lipstick and nails with your gown (and the red carpet).

Adele 2013 Grammys

Dang! Adele certainly knows how to make an entrance. The singer ditched her typically all-black look for a fun and fiery Valentino number on the 2013 Grammys red carpet. HOT. And, guys, when we say she wore head-to-toe floral, we mean that in the most literal way possible. She wore sparkly ruby and diamond flower earrings, a long-sleeve black and red flower tapestry tea-length frock, and, yes, even printed floral pumps! #WERK For her beauty game, she sported matching red matte stiletto tips, HUGE lashes, bronze cheeks, super glossy lips, and a soft updo. But what do you think—do you like Adele's bold red carpet look or do you like when she goes for something more demure? Let us know in the comments below!
