It's official: sometimes a really great outfit works just as well as coffee at waking us up. Don't believe it? Just check out Kristen Stewart, who has made dreary Monday morning a LOT more exciting with this seriously eye-opening ensemble. There's no doubt the actress has been upping her fashion game in a whole new way recently (her creepy Halloween costume and otherwise), but her latest style transformation might be the best one yet. Hot on the heels of her recent Glamour Poland cover, the star hit the red carpet this weekend to promote On The Road wearing—wait for it...a sleek white bustier top. Whoa. The menswear-inspired look comes courtesy of Balenciaga's Spring/Summer 2013 collection, which makes Kristen THE very first person to rock the outfit off the runway. Considering her supertight status with the label's designer, Nicolas Ghesquière, we're not at all surprised about this special treatment. But now that Ghesquière shockingly announced his departure from the French fashion house this morning, what does that mean for K.Stew's relationship with the brand?

Kesh: These Are A Few Of Her Favorite Things

Digital artist visionary/sartorial slayer aka Kesh had me at "HEY GIRL!" (Okay, maybe I said that to her whilst drooling over her goth Princess Leia-ish buns.) There was also our subsequent bonding over Britney's obscure naughty pop gem known as "Phonography". It was a grey evening at the Standard Hotel Grill and Kesh was kicking it at the bar with our mutual dark poptress BFF, Natalia Kills, both clad in their best goth garb and working the most purrfect cat eyes in the universe. And so it began. I thought I already knew a lot about Kesh via stalking her (hiiii, she's the mastermind behind Azealia Banks' ravishing raver bananas-ly Beetlejuice-tinged look at Coachella) and is a front row staple at every fashion week/fashion show that matters. I've also been itching whilst schvitzing for an invite to "The Cave" in her LA pad, where, as it's been told, Kesh brews her creative magic, photographing other aesthetically-awesome artists (see: Blood Orange, Venus X) in the ultimate meeting-of-the-well-dressed-minds. But I didn't expect our heartless-heart strings to bind us together for eternity. I blame it on the English accent and black lipstick kisses and maybe the Illuminati.

Selena Gomez Named 'Glamour' Magazine's Woman Of The Year

Selena Gomez is adorable, but there's so much more to her than just that. The former Disney star may be most known for her time on the channel, for her pop career with band The Scene, and for her role as half of pop's most powerful couple (the other half being, obviously, Justin Bieber), but beyond the fact that she's breaking into more grown up film roles this year with her part in Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers, which is being released just in time for, yeah, Spring Break in March of 2013, Gomez is showing herself to be whip smart, savvy, and beyond anything else, compassionate and concerned for the world beyond Hollywood. This is why, when Glamour announced this year's Women of The Year, it was no surprise that Selena was it. As the youngest-ever U.S. UNICEF ambassador, Gomez's life isn't all glitz and glam, when she's not working she's out there making a difference all over the world. In the article, Selena talks about visiting Ghana for the United Nations, and even taking part in the Global Poverty Project's Live Below The Line Project, where she spent a week living on just $1.50 a day.

Demi Lovato and Alexa Chung aren't the only stars having a major Topshop moment these days. Carly Rae Jepsen is hot on their heels, rocking the U.K. retailer regularly both onstage AND off. Just after wearing not one, but TWO different Topshop ensembles to Comedy Central's "Night Of Too Many Stars," the Canadian singer is at it again. This time she chose to wear a sparkly face-motif dress from the brand's Louise Gray collection. Covered in sequins and splashed with a starry smile, it should go without saying that this Flash Face frock is a guaranteed attention-getter...oh, and did we mention it's on sale?

Sarah Hyland Is The Face Of Nintendo Style Games

Confession: even though we're, uh, past the middle school gaming days, we're still suckers for Super Mario Brothers (and Tetris, and Minesweeper, and Pac Man...). Turns out we're not the only ones— Sarah Hyland's got a soft spot for old-school Nintendo, too. The Modern Family actress has signed on to rep TWO brand-new projects from the gaming company. The first, called "Style Savvy: Trendsetters," is a shopping-based game where users create and manage their own stores, from designing the interior of the shop, to stocking the boutique, to making sure their customers are happy. Think of it as living vicariously- er, virtually- through your favorite editors, buyers, and industry insiders. Plus, you can check out what the other players are into, with over 12,000 clothes, shoes, and accessories to choose from. Shopping without spending any money? We'll take it!

Taylor Swift Sparkles On The Cover Of 'Elle' Canada

Taylor Swift may have strayed from her sparkly dress wearing past lately, in favor of ladylike a-line dresses and *gasp* pants, but her glittering former signature style is out in full force on the cover of Elle Canada's December issue. The stunning gown calls to mind Tay's nude, sparkly look from her IHeartRadio performance, but, needless to say it takes it to a whole new level. Featuring a form fitting mermaid cut, what appears to be a sweetheart neckline and a long train, the gown would be totally at home on the Oscars red carpet. Taylor pairs the dramatic dress with easy, carefree waves and her signature red pout, making the look, which could so easily be thrown over the top by too-glitzy hair and makeup, look natural and elegant.

Maluca: These Are A Few Of Her Favorite Things

I've said it (aka tweeted it) and I'll say it again: Maluca Mala is EVERYTHING. Yeah, there's a whole crop of emerging ferosh female MCs doing their thang right now, but y'all MUST keep an eye out for the awesomely self-described Dominican princess with a penchant for spitting sassy flows. What really gets my lashes batting are the Harlem-raised talent's serious head-turning eye candy '90s-heavy lewks she fearlessly werqs/I sartorial Stan for. (Color contacts and chokers = <3!) Like Maluca, I'm a fan of a good designer-meets-thrift combo. Unlike Maluca, I'm not homies with the Opening Ceremony crew and don't own custom-made Levi's courtesy of Nicola Formichetti. :'( There's also that VFiles "Xtreme Fashion Week" video in which MM plays host whilst sporting a video camera on her forehead and brilliantly gushes to A. Wang post-show: "That collection was like, OVA!" *Faints* #PleaseBeMyBFF Additionally, I'm obsessed with homegirl's "Lola" music video starring bad ass super-model JENNY SHIMIZU. *J'Dead* Well, I got Maluca to take a hot sec from her dizzying studio sched—where she's finishing up her sure-to-be AMAZE 'Massive Pow Pow' EP—to spill the fashion-y rave-friendly beans for this week's Favorite Things. FYI: Sartorial-induced side-effects include envy and euphoria.

Check Out Lucy Hale As A Rainbow Unicorn And Other Celeb Halloween Costumes

Having Halloween on a Wednesday means that the holiday festivities have the potential to stretch out over an entire week. Not only does this mean candy, candy, and MORE candy, but it also means that you have the opportunity for not just one but many costumes. You may have rocked your showstopping Halloween look on Friday or Saturday past, but there is still ACTUAL Halloween to worry about. If you need some inspiration, celebs are a great place to look for costume ideas. We especially loved Lucy Hale's technicolor unicorn costume, complete with horn, rainbow mane and furry boots. This look is part "My Little Pony" and party candy raver, and avoids the "sexy" costume cliche by virtue of being so totally over the top. Lucy is committed, and we're into it.

Go Halloween Shopping With Victoria Justice

In her new movie Fun Size, Victoria Justice plays a girl forced to babysit her brother on Halloween instead of going to the coolest party, where she was, of course, invited by the cutest guy. In an adorable Dorothy costume, Victoria and her brother get into all kinds of spooky holiday hijinx and hilarity ensues. MTV News' Christina Garibaldi took Justice shopping for Halloween costumes, and in the video that you can watch below, you'll see that the star is 100% in the Halloween spirit. Between a unicorn mask, feather boa, and some really hair-raising werewolf gloves, the actress puts together a look that might not be winning any costume contests, but is certainly hilarious. Rita Ora Is The New Face Of Superga!

When we first broke the news that Rita Ora had signed with Next Models, we knew it would only be a matter of time before the Kosovo-born, U.K.-bred pop star nabbed her very first campaign. But while we predicted that her streetwear-cool style would translate well for fashion brands like Ashish, Joyrich, or The Hundreds, Rita pulled a fast one on us with something totally different! We hear she'll be fronting the new Superga campaign for Spring/Summer 2013...yes, the very same Italian footwear brand that Alexa Chung modeled this past season. The gig might seem unexpected for about 0.2 seconds, but when you think about it the news actually makes a LOT of sense. After all, this is a girl who wears her sneakers with literally everything- and looks freaking amazing no matter what.
