Louisa Rose Allen, AKA Foxes.

Foxes might not be a household name in America quite yet, but this 22-year-old London musician is already making a major splash overseas with her soulful brand of sweeping anthemic pop. Laced with futuristic-sounding beats, lush melodies, and a soaring sing-along chorus, her latest single "White Coats" has already cemented its place on our summer soundtrack--and deserves a slot on yours, too. The song's accompanying video is equally as gorgeous, with Foxes (whose real name is Louisa Rose Allen) dropping off emotional baggage in London, all the while decked out in a vintage floral jumpsuit. While on the road promoting her new Warrior EP, the singer filled us in on her mishmash style, hat collection, and why she'll never perform in heels.

Best Coast covered Fleetwood Mac's "Storms" on Fallon.
Photo: Bethany Cosentino's Instagram/Getty

Last night, almost the entire Style team watched as Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino covered Fleetwood Mac's "Storms" at New York City's Terminal 5. She was wearing an understated all black outfit--a black tank and jeans and a pair of black clog sandals--and commanded in a way that we're sure would have made her predecessor Stevie Nicks very proud had she been there to witness it. Just hours before, Bethany and the rest of her band performed the same song on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, their second time on the show (the first was performing "Boyfriend" off of their debut record, Crazy For You). For the performance, Bethany looked equal parts bewitching and contemporary, dripping in Pamela Love's architectural, amulet-like pyramid rings, a bracelet and an breastplate necklace that almost doubles as a collar for her midi-length Rachel Comey Dress. The dress, which is a fluid black halter with buttons from the waist down (very Elaine Benes from Seinfeld, only sexier and more modern, we must say), isn't quite as flamboyant as a classic Stevie Nicks look, but we love how Bethany stays true to her own unique take on the California Valley witch vibe that Stevie is the godmother of. Finished off with a pair of Marc Jacobs split wedges and flowing tresses, Bethany's super simple, timeless look was nearly as breathtaking as her tender cover of the heartbreaking Fleetwood Mac ballad she sang.

Lana Del Rey photographed for H&M by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
Photo: Vogue UK's Facebook

We usually prefer not to comment on rumors, but last month when we heard Lana Del Rey had signed a contract to be the new face of H&M, we just HAD to say SOMETHING. Well, turns out it was true!! Lana will be the face of the fall campaign, and will also appear in the company's holiday advertisements. In the first image from the campaign (above), Lana poses coyly in a peach colored sweater and matching pants. We love this textured take on monochrome *takes out notebook and jots down ideas,* and her stiletto nails are to die for. We're also glad to see that Lana's ever-growing hair shows no sign that it's going to deflate any time soon. Sources say that the campaign will also include a TV spot, and a cover of "Blue Velvet." Amazing.

Miley does her best duck lips with her new blond hair, skates down an LA street like a pro.
Photo: Miley Cyrus' Twitter/Splash News

It's been a pretty serious couple of months for Miley Cyrus, between her engagement to boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and subsequent talk about a baby in the not too distant future, the 19 year old singer-slash-actress has been growing up fast, to say the least. Sartorially, however, Miley's been right on track, rocking short shorts, graphic rompers and even some fresh ink. According to her Twitter, Miley's been on a bit of a skateboarding jag as of late, mentioning Vans (saying they're "So dope. So Classic."), Chanel decks (uh, wut?!), and debuting a new beach babe blond hairstyle. Is Miley just getting deeper into the California lifestyle, or are we going to be adding another hyphen followed by 'skater' to this renaissance woman's pedigree?

Charli XCX is the perfect combination of goth beauty and pop princess.
Photo: Courtesy Charli XCX

Once upon a time, a budding 19-year-old Brit pop starlet with a thing for killer platform sneaks and rave-y, lush pop gems emerged, citing style influences like the Spice Girls and Wednesday Addams. *DEAD* Her name is Charli XCX, and she made me believe in pop fairytales again, by transporting me to the immaculate years aka 95-97, at a time when tattoo chokers and fluffy doodle pens were still waaay in (and pre-Ginger Spice's devastating exit). Thanks for that, girl. Let's just avoid discussing her Refinery29 shoot which involves a purple velvet dress paired with shredded tights a la Angela Chase, because tears will def happen. #SOGOOD. But you'd never guess Charli was a grunge-y kind of girl when peeping her Carine Roitfeld-styled V Magazine cover, in which she and her fellow cuties, Grimes and Sky Ferreira, WERK it in matching Givenchy, blood red pouts and Robert Palmer-tinged slicked back buns, all the while clutching *SPINE SHIVERS!* mice. Her latest video for "You're The One" is all sorts of heart-exploding-into-rainbow-fireworks kinds of amazing, and, duh, so are her favorite fashion-y things which resulted in major closet envy/fake-tattoo-purchasing-at-local-suburban-Claire's. In short, IAMOBSESSED.com. *Runs to Patricia Field, buys entire stock of skeleton glasses*

Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts in New York City.

Here's the thing about band tees: it's impossible to have too many of them, AND they never go out of style. Okay, so maybe these are just our excuses for constantly adding music t-shirts (both vintage and new) to our overflowing stockpile, but hey- we're obviously not the only ones. Rihanna, Willow Smith,Taylor Momsen, and about a zillion other cool kids have been running around in the basics for a while now, and Emma Roberts is the latest celeb to hop on board. We spotted the actress wearing a Velvet Underground t-shirt while filming her new movie Empire State in- where else?- New York.

Kristen Stewart at Comic Con.
Photo: Getty Images

Chalk it up to her Balenciaga duties and the Snow White and the Huntsman press, but Kristen Stewart has been in high fashion mode all summer long- modeling in designer campaigns, working everything from harnesses to sheer gowns on the red carpet, and fronting no fewer than FOUR glossy covers this season. The actress looks great glammed up (clearly) but all it takes is one glance at her low key outfit yesterday at Comic Con to see that K. Stew is clearly back in her casual-cool element...and she's loving it.

Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steinfeld on the set of "Can A Song Save Your Life?"
Photo: Getty Images

In the world of pop culture fashion, it takes a LOT for us to do a double-take these days (after all, meat dresses, teddy bear shoes, and bright blue hair are kind of the norm... ). But even so, we had to check twice yesterday to make sure that it really was Hailee Steinfeld looking all art school-grunge on the set of her new movie Can A Song Save Your Life? We're used to seeing the actress in her fair share of high-fashion getups, but for her newest role, as a young New York student named Violet, she's traded Miu Miu for crop tops, hot pants, and sky high wedge booties. We love the downtown mishmash of her leopard rainbow tank, super short gray shorts, and layered jewelry. To complete the outfit, she's topped it all off with dark eye makeup, a denim backpack, and, something we've never seen before on the smiley 15-year-old... a scowl.

Taylor Swift rocks simple, timeless beauty on and off the red carpet.
Photo: Getty

Despite making the somewhat radical change from curly sue to straight haired songstress recently (and adding bangs!) Taylor Swift generally stays on the straight and narrow beauty wise. With classic, girly looks and beauty to match, the singer has elegant, simple style down to a T. Refinery29 got an exclusive look at Taylor's new Covergirl campaign, which has the singer in three signature looks-glam, boho, and sleek rocker chic-and learned some of her beauty philosophies (and faux-pas). Taylor talks about wanting to take risks, and to be able to switch up her look depending on the situation. "The cool thing about makeup is that it can be so different on any given day," she says, and it's true, makeup is a way to reinvent yourself every morning.

Amy Winehouse wears one of the Naomi Parry-designed dresses at her last performance before her death.
Photo: Getty

We can hardly believe it's been nearly a year since the tragic passing of Amy Winehouse. The British soul singer passed away last July, and the music world is still reeling from the loss. Over the weekend, The New York Times Magazine published a story that gave us that heart-tugging what-could-have-been feeling, publishing a gallery of the dresses Winehouse's stylist, Naomi Parry, designed for her last tour, which was cancelled after just one date, a month before the singer's death. The tour was tropical themed, and the dresses follow suit with prints that make us yearn for a sun hat and a vacation. In the accompanying text, Parry speaks about Amy's desire for simplicity while performing, and about how the singer never wore black, because she thought it made her look "a bit like a witch."
