Listen, everyone here at MTV Style is already WELL acquainted with the sartorial magic of Rita Ora (um hi, this girl is literally the epitome of "IT," whatever "it" is...) But now it seems the singer has captured The New York Times under her sparkly spell, too, and it's about time. She's the subject of a new feature aptly entitled "From England, Fashion’s Latest Darling," in which the paper proclaims her as a "flamboyant breed of English rose" with a star shining SO bright, she would "probably be able to find a spotlight in Antarctica." Congrats, guys! Glad to see you've decided to join us on the Rita Ora fan bandwagon. Taylor Swift Kills It In Her Super Deep V-Neck Gown At The 2013 People's Choice Awards

WOAH, Taylor! We're used to Taylor Swift slaying red carpets like dragons all awards season long, but even WE got the slightest case of cartoon wolf eyes at the sight of her timeless yet daring Ralph Lauren gown on the 2013 People's Choice Awards red carpet. The floor length, pure white dress featured a ground-sweeping train and super deep v-neck, a look that's far more revealing than what we're used to seeing Tay hit the carpet in. Not that we're all that surprised: Taylor has been upping the ante with her red carpet looks as of late, so this most recent look seems like an almost natural progression. Starting way back in September, when Tay wore that white J. Mendel suit to the 2012 VMA, and then just generally turned up the heat with a series of impeccably tailored, pretty-yet-not-totally-innocent frocks. From ballerina va-va-voom at the Aria awards to her beaded, peekaboo gown at the MTV EMA, Taylor is staying true to her elegant, classic style while also showing the world that it's not all tea dresses and costume parties for this girlie girl. Could this latest trip down the red carpet be a sign that 2013 is going to hold even more red carpet risks than the year we've just had? Or could it be a nice little smirk in the DIRECTION of ONE certain boy band heartthrob? We're not much for indulging rumors, but whatever, get yours, Tay, show 'em.

Juno Temple Is A Rising Style Star

If you're not familiar with Juno Temple quite yet, save yourself some time and hop on board right.this.second, because this actress is officially blowing up. Despite appearing in front of the camera since age 11 in films like Notes On A Scandal, Atonement, and The Other Boleyn Girl, she's managed to cruise fairly under the radar. But with a whopping TEN movies coming up as well as a nom for the coveted BAFTA Rising Star Award, it's about time the 23-year-old gets her time in the spotlight... and on the red carpet. Judging from her amazingly colorful and off-kilter style over the past few years, Juno's undoubtedly one to watch.

We've always associated Juno with her wavy blonde locks, but this week she mixed things up and showed off a bright auburn shade at the EE Rising Star event in London. Maybe the change is for a role, maybe it's to show everyone she's transitioning into movie star mode, but either way, the color adds a major pop to her Dolce & Gabbana floral dress, don't you think!? Juno has also been hitting the fashion circuit, stopping by a Mulberry dinner dressed in-what else?- Mulberry and toting a handbag by the London label. Something else you should know about the actress is that she has AMAZING footwear game. So when she decides to make the unexpected choice and rock black ankle booties with her flippy blue dress, of course she kills it. Futher proof of this? She gave her Alexander McQueen dress another playful touch with stappy black sandals at the Anna Karenina premiere, making the outfit about 1000x more fun.

We're very (very!) openly obsessed with UK-based singer Charli XCX—not only because of her dark (and catchy!) synth-pop anthems, but because her Spice Girls-meets-Wednesday Addams style is to die for. Just when we thought her look was WAY too cool to end up in our little ol' closets, Topshop blew our minds with a totally Charli-inspired photo shoot decked out in all their clothes. Meaning, yes, WE CAN ACTUALLY BUY THE GLORIOUS OUTFITS YOU SEE ABOVE. *cries*

CUTE OVERLOAD ALERT. Remember when we called out Dakota Fanning as one of the biggest cat ladies of 2012? Judging from her little sis Elle, turns out the feline friendly fashion gene runs in the family! The twosome arrived in Seoul, South Korea this weekend and hit the ground running wearing- get this- matching kitten ear hats. (As if we weren't obsessed with the Fannings enough already...). Dakota went for total Hello Kitty adorableness with her white beanie, and Elle sported a fuzzy pale pink version as they traipsed through the streets on vacation. Aw, you guys...

Lianne La Havas Is A Rising Style Star

With molasses-smooth vocals and a smoky R&B vibe, listening to Lianne La Havas is almost like being transported to another era. It's this rare, sparkling quality which allowed the 22-year-old former Paloma Faith backup singer to break out on her own with a solo album last year...and land a Mercury Prize nom, natch. But while her debut Is Your Love Big Enough? might lend a welcome dose of nostalgia, the English multi-instrumentalist sticks with a style that's young, fresh, and totally current.

LEATHER WORKS
After years of performing, Lianne knows what works for her onstage and off and isn't afraid to wear closet staples more than once. Case in point: her beloved leather skirt, which we've counted the singer sporting at LEAST 3 times in one month...which is a lot if you happen to be an emerging music star. She paired it with a black and white collared button-up at MTV Crashes Manchester event in September. Thanks to tricks like a knotted top and a cropped embellished blazer, the whole look is a quirky-cool take on the schoolgirl uniform. Lianne went rocker earlier in the month, complementing the flippy skirt with sturdy brown boots and a vintage t-shirt. Then, proving just HOW versatile the piece really is, Lianne dressed up her uniform for the Alice + Olivia Fashion Week presentation in a floral tank and heels. This girl obviously has a stylist's eye, and she hasn't let us down once.

AnnaSophia Robb Goes Mod For 'Teen Vogue'

The Carrie Diaries doesn't premiere until January 14, but AnnaSophia Robb is already being forecast as one of fashion's next major "It" girls. She hits a kind of style star jackpot by undertaking the role of a young Carrie Bradshaw in a world that's not only post-Sex And The City but post-Gossip Girl, so it comes as no surprise that she's already starting to rack up magazine features. Robb illustrates, though, in this Teen Vogue cover spread that she's absolutely worth the hype, knocking the '60s mod steez just as far out of the park as her '80s Carrie togs.

When Rita Ora covered ASOS magazine way back in September, we obsessed over the singer's amazing studded denim jacket— and mourned the fact that we couldn't score her custom topper for ourselves. Clearly we weren't the only ones bummed out, because thanks to ALL of the requests to buy the one-of-a-kind number, ASOS has officially added it to its stock! And while the statement piece is definitely not cheap at $351, just think of it as an all-inclusive deal to alleviate some buyer's guilt (trust us, it'll make you feel better!). After all, the bomber is a complete mishmash of materials, patterns, and colors. With silver and gold spikes, jeweled details, and a satin paneled artsy print, it's basically every item in our closet crammed into one signature item. How's THAT for more bang for your buck?!

Sleigh Bells' Alexis Krauss: These Are A Few Of Her Favorite Things

There's nothing quite like the sound of Sleigh Bells. But I (obviously) prefer the screeching guitars/chaotic drum beats/punk-pop ecstacy-y of an aural explosion that is the Brooklyn-based band rather than those jolly X-Mas noisemakers that Santa's reindeer get down with each holiday season. No offense, Blitzen. Sleigh Bells' killer front-woman, Alexis Krauss, is forseriously everything you've ever desired in your fave rock star, and I’m not just blogging about those rafter-reaching pipes that will make you feel thangs/pop your crowd-surfing cherry. Sartorial spoiler alert: homegirl's got hair-whipping frenzy-appropriate bangs (thx to Volume Powder by Sachajuan), a winning style game (a custom studded leather jacket courtesy of Nicola Formichetti=!!!!) and SO much more, as you'll see in today's very special standing ovation-worthy Favorite Things. Like, PS, have you seen the album artwork for the band's immaculate 'Reign of Terror' LP (see: a pair of paint-splattered classic white-ish Keds which makes me really happy) which is omfg kinds of stylish? I cannot. And let's never forget Krauss crashing fashion blogs worldwide as a result of her recent Obesity & Speed (in which she comes across as the ultimate cheerleader goth) and Sephora (in which she rocks a major cat-eye/a perfectly glossed pout combo) campaigns. Anyway, I really can't deal with attempting to describe all of this perfection, so prepare to obsess/drool/decline many a credit card over the kick ass beauty's favorite fashion-y things (oh, and fave hangover cures/intoxication-friendly karaoke jams)...after the jump!

Lena Dunham Goes Pantless For 'V' Magazine, Shot By Terry Richardson

From the explosive debut season of Girls to rocking a Miley Cyrus-inspired pixie cut and landing a mega money book proposal, it's safe to say Lena Dunham had a fabulous 2012, and this new year looks to be no different. On only this second day in January, we've discovered the writer/director/actress's photo shoot with Terry Richardson for the upcoming issue of V Magazine, which hits newsstands January 10 (just THREE days before the Girls Season 2 premiere for those of you who are counting down — and you should be).

Aptly named Time Magazine's coolest person of the year, Dunham takes the director's chair wearing a black Calvin Klein bodysuit and Manolo Blahnik pumps. Although there was a bit of controversy when Dunham appeared at an L.A. event wearing a turquoise top and what appeared to be a blatant lack of pants, we do not object to the leggy abstentia here. Throughout the photos, Dunham rocks the slinky one-piece, accentuating her gams and accessorizing with a cherry red Michael Kors coat and a mouthful of toothpaste.
