Every so often, a superstar with a penchant for looking amazing is born, grabbing my credit card's attention and sartorial-slaying all of your faves. Her name is Roses Gabor, and she made me a believer in SWAG aka taught me what swag really means. Take, for instance, the Brit cutie's music video for "Stars," which essentially is an ecstasy-heavy aesthetic paradise. Spoiler Alert: It kicks off with a trippy shimmering sea a la TLC's classic "Waterfalls" before flashing word art-ish/Illuminati-ish text screaming "ROSES GABOR", just to remind y'all who you'll soon be majorly Stanning for. The vid also involves hoop earrings, killer KTZ prints, a side pony and swaggerlish moves. My personal highlight is Roses as a kaleidoscope moment. You'll see what I mean. The vid's greatness resulted in me bouncing around/smizeing into my mirror clad in my knock off Jeremy Scott leopard print acrylic thrift shirt/Trash and Vaudeville creepers combo just this morning for which I now require a massage. Anywho, I am sosososooo pumped for Gabor's forthcoming debut, 'Night Sky', that I already pre-ordered it which, duh, you should too. Until then, here's the underground-dancehall-singer-turned-emerging-sartorial-starlet's faint-worthy favorite things. You're very welcome!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAILEE STEINFELD! Today, you're officially sweet 16, and in honor of you and your day of birth, one of our ABSOLUTE favorite fashion plates (regardless of age!), we've rounded up our personal 16 favorite looks that you've rock since stepping out in the spotlight courtesy of True Grit. Sure, that only makes for two years of ensembles to choose from, but believe us, there were more than enough to choose from. In all honesty, whittling the list down to 16 was actually pretty difficult! To make it all a little more digestible, here are our sweet 16 Hailee Steinfeld outfits broken up into a few thematic categories. Enjoy!

Since it is her sixteenth birthday, we'll start with the most sweet-16 ready set: Hailee's sparkly and sweet outfits. There are two ways she prefers to implement her sartorial sparkle. Sometimes it's a full-bodice of sequins and beading like we saw on both the poofy princess Marchesa she wore to the 2011 Academy Awards (and paired with SNEAKERS to the Vanity Fair party!) or that lovely midi skirted Miu Miu dress she wore to the 2011 BAFTA Awards. And other times it's a touch of shine on a dress or blazer's collar à la her "Muta" by Lucrecia Martel screening outfit and 2011 MTV Movie Awards red carpet tuxedo.

Kelly Osbourne Reveals Her Beauty Secrets At Terry Richardson's Miami Book Signing [Interview]

Raise your hand/strawberry daq-filled glass if you've been obsessed with Kelly Osbourne since her teen goth days circa MTV's The Osbournes aka the best reality television shit-show since Real World San Fran. Remembs the one amazing time when Mama Osbourne tossed a honey baked ham over her neighbor's fence? *Nostalgia tears* Anyway, I love a good cheeky Brit with a fearless walk-in closet (see also: Ginger Spice), so when I met Kelly over the blackout-friendly Miami Art Basel weekend (see: ran up to her posse whilst belting her Madonna "Papa Don't Preach" cover), I was quite the starry-eyed gay. 'Twas not just an ordinary Basel bash infinity poolside at the Standard Hotel -- a sea of immaculately dressed cuties in their LAMD© best (FYI: Look At Me Device is brought to you by my BFF/Bravo Gallery Girl, Angela Pham) got shwasted in celebration of Terry Richardson's new book whilst probs not buying said new book and instead opting for booty bouncing/"You go, girl!!!"s to Azealia Banks' CRAY performance complete with many a perfect purple weave whipping moments (and, hiiii, a Pharrell *FAINTS* Williams sighting). Anywhoo, I chatted with Kelly about her lavender '50s prom-friendly hair do upkeep which, spoiler alert, she revealed involves old lady hair mousse. I also chit-chatted with her about Joan Rivers as a grandma figure/Lordes "Lola" Leon as a BFF, her signature scent for which she's rocked since the age tween, and other uh-mazing things that made me blush/visibly schvitz my Manic Panic blue sea-punk dye all down my mug. Yeah, I'm a professional journalist or something. The things I do for y'all dear MTV steez readers… Read on, cuties.

Katy Perry Pops In Lichtenstein-Inspired Parachuting Ensemble

If you happened to be in Dubai this weekend, two things. First, we are jealous that you were in Dubai period because, awesome, and second, did you see Katy Perry perform at the closing ceremony for the World Parachuting Championships? Oh no, we didn't misspeak. This weekend, our lady of teenage dreams was dropped from the sky (or at least from right above the stage), supported by a pop art-inspired parachute. She then removed her similarly themed flight suit to reveal a latex bustier ensemble that would have made Roy Lichtenstein very proud. Borrowing from the iconic 1960's artist's highly stylized, satirically tweaked comic book style, the look was slick and unexpected--appropriate for an unexpected performance venue. The look definitely has us reaching for our 3.1 Philip Lim Lichtenstein cardi, that's for sure.

Jourdan Dunn Talks Chicken Stew, Culinary Inspiration For 'Well Dunn With Jourdan Dunn' [Interview]

Model, mom, cooking show host. We're talking, of course, about Jourdan Dunn, the host of Life + Times' Well Dunn With Jourdan Dunn, and one of our all time fave catwalk (and editorial) staples. Models have been getting into the culinary game more and more these days (see also: Karlie's Kookies), but Jourdan is the first girl to go full on Julia Child, and we have to say she's doing a bang up job. For her first episode Jourdan cooked a classic Jamaican meal with a few twists. She made a classic, scotch bonnet pepper filled jerk, but rather than using chicken she used pork belly, and on the side she made classic rice and peas and a Caribbean salsa. The meal looks amazing, and her instructions are clear and totally adorable. Save for an unfortunate (but heart meltingly cute) garlic smashing incident, she's a pro in the kitchen. She also peels a mango with an insane amount of skill that even seems to surprise Jourdan herself. We had the opportunity to ask her a few questions about her culinary inspiration, the whole do models eat question, and whether we might be able to get her together with our House Of Style hosts for a little models only dinner party. Miley Cyrus Shows Off Her '80s Versace Shades: Here's How to Get The Look

We first suspected something was up when Rihanna rocked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last month in vintage Chanel circle-shaped shades, and now Miley Cyrus confirms it: round sunglasses are officially experiencing a resurgence, people! Sure, we're all for square, oversized, and classic aviators, but Miley's old-school Versace sunnies that she posted last night have single-handedly convinced us to invest in our own John Lennon-inspired frames. The singer tweeted, "80s Versace" #obsession" and she's definitely not the only one in love with the retro accessories. But while Miley's limited-edition version might be a little hard to score ourselves (trust us, we've tried!), there are PLENTY of near-identical versions out there if you're craving some instant gratification.

With a handful of amazing singles, unforgettable live performances, and a new modeling contract under her belt, 2012 has been an absolutely epic year for Rita Ora. We're not exactly fortune-tellers, but we're still willing to place bets that 2013 is going to be equally as awesome for Jay-Z's Roc Nation protege. The U.K. singer already has one foot firmly planted in the future, with two magazine cameos for January, showing off just HOW versatile the star really is. The 22-year-old shows her girlier side on the cover of the new issue of Glamour UK working a sweepy side ponytail, a floral Christian Dior shirtdress, and not a sneaker in sight (!). It might be a different Rita than the one we're used to obsessing over for her kooky-cool style, but the girl pulls off this pretty femininity perfectly. Almost as perfectly as she does the menswear-inspired ensembles for Harper's Bazaar UK, we might add. Because let's be honest: two Ritas are ALWAYS better than one.

Katy Perry's Sequined Dress Is Giving Us Deja Vu!

Katy Perry had a very busy weekend. Not only was the pop star named Billboard's Woman Of The Year, she was also honored by The Trevor Project with their 'Trevor Hero Award.'The organization, which provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention to LGBTQ teens, honored Perry for her outspokenness about suicide, and, according to the organization's CEO, Abbe Land, because "she has done so much to empower youth." Katy looked beautiful on the red carpet, in a sequined, light-beige Marchesa gown that hugged all over her envy-inducing curves while still being demure. When we first saw it, though, we got a weird feeling. "Have we seen this dress before?" we thought, and immediately began racking our brains for a similar style on the singer. Two dresses came to mind, and one in particular stuck out because of the also-similar beauty look she rocked with it. We're talking, of course, of the one-shouldered number Katy wore to the premiere of then-husband Russell Brand's film Arthur in April of 2011. Last year, Katy paired the gown, which featured more of a mermaid shape, a central, starburst sequined pattern and slightly less form-fitting construction, with super long, loose black waves and a center part. For The Trevor Project red carpet, Katy also kept her jet black mane loose, adding a crown braid to the slightly shorter, loosely curled look. There was another dress that was creeping into our brains as well, though. Check it out after the jump.

TEEN's Teeny Lieberson: These Are A Few Of Her Favorite Things

IDK what this says about me, but I majorly heart a good dreamy (see: acid-y) indie pop girl band. So when my ears/eyeballs fortunately were intro'd to TEEN's "Electric" music video, I nearly rolled under my desk whilst foaming at the mouth. Firstly, they took the hipster specs to another uh-mazing level aka the uber talented cuties rocked DRINKING STRAW GLASSES aka now I know how I'll be pregaming tonight. I'm pretty sure that ish was spiked with something that makes your eyes cry confetti because the music video also involves quirky choreographed numbers, immaculate bang whipping, and colorful inmate outfits that may or may not be found on the vintage racks at your local American Apparel. Additionally, TEEN's leader of the pack (or as I like to say, the band's Beyonce), Katherine Lieberson, goes by the nickname Teeny, which makes me quite happy. Their tunes from their debut album, 'In Limbo', (which PS you should purchase via iTunes) often inspire me to attempt cartwheels and dance alone in my bedroom a la that amazing scene in HBO's Girls. (PS why isn’t there a soundtrack obvi featuring a TEEN tune?!) Anyway, it's Monday which means I need a coffee or five which also means it's time for another Favorite Thangs. Take particular note of the following, regarding why Teeny is especially awesome: her favorite fashion icon, her go-to hangover cure, and her secret fave fashion blog. You go, girl.

Taylor Swift And Kimbra Do Red Carpet To Stage Right At The ARIA Awards

Oh, what's a pop star to do? You're going to an awards show, and not only do you have to pick out a killer gown for the red carpet, but you ALSO have to come up with an amazing on stage look! So many outfits, so little time. While we sometimes wish we had reason for multiple costume changes throughout the day, it IS a delicate balance that must be struck when choosing one's looks for a show. At Australia's ARIA awards, two of our favorite ladies both on stage and on the carpet showed us how it's done with their looks. Taylor Swift took to the carpet in a stunning floor-length Ellie Saab gown. The dress, which featured a fitted bodice with a slightly-more-va-va-voom bustline than we're used to seeing on Taylor, had sheer panels along the sides and back. It's part Grecian goddess, part bridal, and part princess--just the right amount of grown up and youthful for our girl Tay. She kept her beauty look simple and elegant, her hair swept into a low bun, pink lips, and a smoky eye. The gown covers them, but beneath those cascading folds of fabric she was also wearing Jimmy Choo heels.
