Nicki Minaj Shows Off Alexander McQueen, Oscar De La Renta 'Realness' In Poolside Photo Shoot

Nicki Minaj can't stop obsessing over Alexander McQueen, y'all. Last week she name-dropped the designer during her live Kmart clothing line press conference ("I've been wearing a lot of Alexander McQueen dresses lately, and I feel like it makes you feel slimmer and longer, so I want to have those cuts in terms of dresses in the line"), and just a couple days ago, she kept tweeting photos of herself poolside at an unnamed shoot using the hashtag #AlexanderMcQueenRealness. We know she has fashion on the brain because, um, she's currently designing an entire clothing and accessories line for Kmart, but can we just discuss how AWESOME her new designer infatuation is? I mean, just peep that image above. We're in love with the new, sophisticated Nicki's honeycomb print gold and black McQueen frock and fire engine red platform stiletto ensemble paired with blunt platinum blonde bangs and silver eyeshadow. #WERK

Zooey Deschanel Goes Bold In Bright Red For 'InStyle'

From princess frocks to Old Hollywood beauty to a consistently on-point nail art game, Zooey Deschanel KNOWS what works for her. The actress just gets it, and she's repping her signature girly sensibility on the cover of the annual April "Color" issue of InStyle, looking radiant in a bright red dress embellished with a giant back bow. Paired with almost no jewelry (save for a couple of rings) and a fresh-faced makeup look that causes her blue eyes practically pop right off the page, this gorgeous photo is a lesson in effortless glam that we can ALL use. But her cover look isn't the only thing we learned from the issue, which hits newsstands Friday. Inside, the actress dished on her personal style philosophy, stating that “Style isn’t when you buy yourself the most expensive things. It’s being creative and able to put together what you’ve collected.” Well said, Zooey. Noted!

All The Details On Lady Gaga's Custom Ken Borochov 24-Karat Gold Wheelchair

Lady Gaga sightings have been scarce since the singer cancelled her tour due to a painful case of synovitis, an inflammation of the joints, and a torn labrum in her hip. We were worried for Mama Monster, but after hearing of her upcoming wedding yesterday, our worry changed to happiness. We're still relieved, however, to see the singer out and about in New York City, photographed by her bud Terry Richardson. Gaga looks her usual glamorous self, although she certainly doesn't look excited to be confined to a wheelchair. What a fabulous wheelchair it is, though. We assumed that Gags wouldn't be caught dead in a regular, hospital issue chair, but even we're a little surprised by how lux her medical device turned accessory is. Crafted out of tufted leather and bright yellow gold, the wheelchair is like something we imagine a little king being confined to in old time-y England (think Colin Craven in The Secret Garden, we're partial to the Francis Ford Coppola version from the 90's, ourselves). Only the best for the queen of the Little Monsters, am I right? UPDATE: We've received an exclusive scoop from the chair's designer, Ken Borochov, that he was commissioned specifically by Lady Gaga herself to design the wheelchair. Ken is the creative force behind MORDEKAI, and has designed pieces for Mama Monster in the past, but nonetheless, he was still surprised to get the call. "I certainly wasn't expecting that phone call and have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the Chariot, a chair fit only for a queen," Ken said in an official statement. Taylor Swift Takes You Behind The Scenes Of Her Diet Coke Commercials

We never thought we would hear Taylor Swift talking about aging gracefully, or at least not yet. But that's exactly what she talks about in Entertainment Tonight's behind the scenes interview on the set of her brand new Diet Coke commercial. She's not talking about wearing long sleeves and remembering to moisturize your neck, however. Taylor is talking about her personal style. We've actually been wondering, as of late, if Taylor has been taking more fashion risks, and it seems that she has, but for no reason other than the fact that she's a grown up lady now, and such things are appropriate. "In my life I've just tried to be the age that I am," Swift says, "so being 23, it's fun to play with your style, it's fun to kind of edge it up once in awhile." She goes on to joke about people saying she's being edgy by wearing shorts for a performance, laughing, "I'm wearing more clothes than anyone here!" We get it though, Tay, you want to try new looks, see what works (which could pretty much be the definition of being in your early 20s). Her new Diet Coke commercials show her playing around just that way, dressed up in everything from a red ball gown to a super tight, silver mini dress, with every other look along the way. Is Lady Gaga Getting Married? What Will Her Wedding Dress Look Like?

Holy mother of... well, monsters! Rumor has it Lady Gaga is reportedly PROBABLY mayyybe (all adverbs are necessary) getting married to her long-time boyfriend (also, extremely hot dude) Taylor Kinney *drumrolllll* THIS SUMMER! *squeals and fall backward in swivel desk chair* We will not rest until we know every minute detail of this holy matrimony and bananas theatrical reception that is sure to follow, so naturally, we're FULL of questions. Will Donatella be a bridesmaid? Will Terry Richardson be the official wedding photographer? What kind of manicure will she be working? And most importantly of all, what in the WORLD is this wedding dress going to look like????

With absolutely no leads on proposed designers (mostly because the girl is BFFs with ALL of them), we took a look back at Gaga's recent sartorial history and rounded up a few looks that might give us some clues. First up is, of course, that actual wedding dress (replete with a veil!) that she wore out on the town in London. Low-cut sweetheart neckline, billowing full skirt, delicate satin gloves — this is a recipe for eye-popping drama. The next major white dress that comes to mind is the antebellum Chanel Haute Couture Mother Monster wore for the opening of Gaga's Workshop at Barney's. Who can forget a skirt like that?

Demi Lovato's Close Connection To Topshop Explained In 'The New York Times'

We're not big conspiracy theorists around here. I mean, we love a good mystery, but we're not pinning newspaper clippings to bulletin boards or wearing t-shirts that say "The Truth is Out There," or anything. We do, however, love to sniff out a scoop, and so when we see something happening with one of our favorite girls that just seems too calculated to be a coincidence, we put on our Sherlock Holmes hat and go looking for answers. We first started noticing that Demi Lovato was fond of Topshop when we identified her X-Factor look as being entirely available for purchase from the retailer. Obviously we thought that was AWESOME, and didn't really think that much more of it, until we started to realize that it wasn't just a one time thing: ALL of Demi's X-Factor looks were from Topshop. Seems like it has to be more than just a coincidence right? I mean, we totally tend to buy large quantities of our wardrobes from the same places, but we know how much designers must want to be showcased on the carpet by a star like Demi. We've been sniffing around this story for months as a result, and FINALLY caught a break, or rather, The New York Times caught it for us (thanks, y'all!). Turns out, Demi's stylist Soulmaz Vosough is also Topshop's global head of personal shopping, which sounds like a pretty fancy title, if you ask us. So, how did Demi get the ultimate insider hook up? 5 Things We Learned From Selena Gomez's 'The Look' Interview

Somehow, by some celebrity magic, Selena Gomez has the uncanny ability to be simultaneously SMOKIN' hot and cute as a button. Perhaps it has something to do with her having the rich, dulcet voice of a grown woman while also having the babyface of a 15-year-old, but we'd venture to guess there's a lot of both bubbling under that sweet turned-up nose and ZOMG ALL THAT HAIR. This "The Look" video interview is kind of the perfect example of all of the above. Shot immediately following the very glamorously mature Harper's Bazaar cover shoot we saw drop yesterday, Selena and Bazaar's Laura Brown have a fireside chat about everything from Miss Gomez's own secrets to "luxuriant hair," putting outfits together, and what kinds of things she likes to see on boys. It's silly and adorable and we all want to be best friends with Selena, so we can raid each others' closets and practice over-the-shoulder smolder gazes in our new looks. Rihanna Celebrates Her River Island Collection Launch In London

Amidst all of the excitement, the runway show and the campaign and all of that, we kind of forgot that the day was fast approaching that we would actually be able to BUY Rihanna's River Island collection for ourselves very soon. The collection is available in the US via Opening Ceremony today, but it also had its launch in the UK last night. Rihanna was in attendance at the London opening, rocking, of course, some choice cuts from her own collection. One of the most showstopping (and for some, eyebrow raising) pieces from the collection are the double denim overalls, which break down your traditional Osh Kosh classics to include crop top and a pair of jeans with a double waistband. Don't get what the heck we're saying, well Ri wore the non-traditional togs to her store opening last night, and we have to say she looks killer in them. Conjuring up some serious Aaliyah vibes, that's for sure. Rihanna styled the jeans not with the matching crop top but with a relaxed, cropped white tea and perfect dark purple lipstick. We're loving how her super glam, long hair adds some elegance to the otherwise street wear-leaning look.

STOP THE PRESSES. Beyonce just uploaded a new promo image for her The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, and she is platinum blonde. That's right, people. PLAT. I. NUM. BLONDE. I can't. Granted, we recognize that there are a bajillion mind-blowing things that Photoshop can do, and Bey has certainly embraced the software's digital magic powers in the name of Pepsi more than once before (see: this Super Bowl lip color switch and last month's pop art ad). We are also well-aware that this could just be a really good wig (when you cover Vogue Power Issue, you have the clout to source that kind of stuff). HOWEVER, you can't blame us for getting a little excited about a major beauty change like this.
