We're not sure if you could tell from the QUADRILLION movie fashion articles we've been churning out for the past few weeks, but we are suffering from MAJOR Oscars fever here at MTV Style. With the 2013 Academy Awards RIGHT around the corner (this Sunday, y'all!) our anticipation of all the history-making red carpet togs is reaching inexplicable heights. We are SO sugar high crazy off the waiting, guys. Or our anxious snack-consuming disease... I DIGRESS. Because the Oscars put the final glamorous cap on the winter awards season, Hollywood's best and brightest save their most show-stopping sartorial numbers for this event, and the results are truly dazzling. To quench our thirst for Oscars fashion, we took a look back — from Angelina Jolie's black velvet Versace Atelier last year (#neverforget Angie's Right Leg) to Michelle Williams in stunning yellow Vera Wang for the 2006 show, from Halle Berry's risky but drop-dead sheer bodiced 2002 Elie Saab to Bjork's infamous Marjan Pejoski swan dress to the unforgettable image Gwyneth Paltrow in baby pink Ralph Lauren way back in 1999, and everything in between — and put the most memorable red carpet ensembles from the past 20 years together in a pretty little photo gallery for you to click through endlessly. After counting down for what seems like forever, the 2013 Academy Awards are this Sunday night! And you'd better bet our eyes will be zoomed way, WAY in on Jennifer Lawrence. This year the star is nominated for her incredible performance in Silver Linings Playbook, which marks the second time she's up for the Best Actress trophy (she nabbed a nom in 2011 for Winter's Bone but lost out to Natalie Portman in Black Swan). There's no question J.Law has been killing the fashion game onscreen and off these days, and we can't WAIT to see what she turns up in this weekend. But in addition to placing bets on which designer she'll choose (Dior? Viktor & Rolf?) and getting your Oscar night plans squared away, here's one more thing to make the time fly: take a trip down Jennifer's red carpet memory lane! Is there any look Beyonce can't work? IDK if you guys saw our New York Fashion Week beauty road-test, but statement eyes AND lips is not a steez everyone can work (what has two thumbs and used them to apply panda eyeliner?*). And yet, here's King Bey in her very Andy Warhol-esque Pepsi ads, killing it dead in dark eyeliner, turquoise shadow, and HOT pink lips. *bows to her majesty* Granted, we can't be sure what the actual makeup job is here since the colors are artificially (presumably digitally) applied, but regardless, the woman carries all the colors and beauty activity effortlessly.

We may be miles across the pond, but pesky things like distance and time zones and international programming limitations aren't holding us back from keeping close tabs on all the fashion comings and goings of the 2013 BRIT Awards (tonight their time, this afternoon ours!) in London. The stars have only just started to roll through, but they are turning it OUT for the mid-week awards show. There are still a few key players we're waiting on (namely performers Justin Timberlake and those One Direction cuties), but we're ALREADY seen a ton of great red carpet fashion. Most exciting for us so far? Taylor Swift shirking her go-to reds, golds, and whites, for a saucy BLACK number with see-through panels, Jessie J looking positively glamorous and near-unrecognizable in a plunging neckline cut to there, sleek hair, and soft feminine makeup, and finally our bb Emeli Sande looking smart in a tailored shirtdress and her trademark platinum pomp. Don't let Selena Gomez's big doe eyes and baby face fool you. She's a saucy little starlette with an eye for show-stopping couture. The Spring Breakers ladies are making their international rounds, promoting the premiere of their Harmony Korine project from New York to Venice to Paris and everywhere in between. Where Italy brought out the most ladylike of the Spring Breakers girls, Paris marked a turn where the film's leading ladies have started to show off considerably more skin, and judging from the latest red carpet showing from the Germany premiere, chief among them is Miss Selena Gomez.

Selena Gomez And 'Spring Breakers' Cast Show Some Skin On Paris Premiere Red Carpet

Despite the familiar Disney faces in Spring Breakers (Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, and even Ashley Benson, by way of ABC Family, all have history with The Mouse), we're not expecting the movie to be anything like the shiny, sparkly happy endings we're used to watching these ladies act out. On the contrary, we're expecting something much closer to director Harmony Korine's first forays into film-making: Kids and Gummo. The reality of just how gritty some of our favorite on-screen good girls become for this film has been a slow reveal. Between Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle tees and motorized scooters on-set and cheeky swimsuit snaps in magazine promo shots, the film's leading ladies have generally kept their Spring Break steez off the red carpet (Exhibit A: the cast's glamorous and ladylike Venice togs). That is, until now. Judging from Ashley, Selena, Vanessa, and Rachel Korine's Paris premiere ensembles, it looks like the girls are starting to rep Spring Break skin on the step-and-repeats, as well!

It's a good thing you can never have too much Rihanna in your life, because let's be real: the girl has been EVERYWHERE these days. Between dropping her bare-all music video for "Stay," slaying the style game at the Grammys, and oh, debuting a little side gig called the River Island collection this weekend, she's doing enough to make anyone feel like an underachiever. In conjunction with all these projects, the pop star graces the April cover of ELLE UK, which we've got a sneak preview of right here! The magazine has *thankfully* leaked the image about a month early, showing Rihanna peering seductively over her shoulder dressed in a minimalist black and white ensemble.

Demi Lovato Talks Trends At Los Angeles Topshop Opening [Video]

Even with a serious leg injury that has her posted up on crutches and rocking a (studded) orthopedic boot, Demi Lovato braved the stage to wail and floor fans with her impressive pipes. Demi performed for the grand opening of a new Topshop in the famous Los Angeles shopping center, The Grove, a small set including smash hit "Give Your Heart A Break." For her performance outfit, D paired the aforementioned boot with a spike-laden leather jacket, an over-sized heather gray t-shirt, black skinnies, and a few loose chains. Per usual, her beauty game was on point with a fresh, glowing face, strong (but not crazy) brows, and a classically badass matte red lip.

Every time Valentine's Day rolls around, we can't wait to see what our favorite celebs will wear on their big night out. Will they go for something comfy and cute or sultry and smoldering? Will they be on-theme with a red and white ensemble or will they opt for a killer LBD? Well, friends, our burning questions have finally been answered—last night we peeped Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry out and about, and we are seriously smitten with their V Day ensembles. RiRi headed out to a nightclub in Hollywood wearing a bright orange wrap dress with a black fur coat and metallic gold snakeskin sandals. She kept up the same beauty look she was rocking at the Grammys—a bold, matte red lip with matching stiletto nails.
