The topless trend is becoming so mainstream these days, it's a wonder designers even bother making shirts anymore. The latest "It" Girl to jump on the semi-nude bandwagon? Rita Ora on this month's cover of Elle UK. The British singer clearly doesn't need fancy clothes to look totally gorgeous, as she appears in nothing more than a pink Dior skirt and a Cartier bracelet. She is forced to share the spotlight with one other pretty gal, however—"Rosetta," her detailed ribcage tattoo.
Unless this is some kind of April Fools joke, Lauren Conrad has taken a purple plunge. I hope it's not a joke—her hair, as always, looks perfect. Like, I want to go to the drugstore right now, buy some purple dye, and color my hair in the bathroom. Sorry the sinks are stained purple, coworkers, but this was a hair emergency—bye boring blonde, hello pretty purple!
It was only a few weeks ago that we were complimenting LC's short, springy 'do and now she's taken the look to an entirely different level. This pastel purple isn't the first unnatural color Lauren has tried out—she's gone both pink and multi-color before—but it's the first time she's committed to having the shade for more than a weekend. In a blog post, she explains that while she normally uses temporary dye, this time she went with semi-permanent, which lasts for six to eight weeks. A bold move, but one I respect (and envy), since it looks so good.
No shirt, no problem.

"No Shirt, No Service" has pretty much become an implied rule in every restaurant and store across the country. But Rihanna has never been one to follow the rules, has she? That's why we were only marginally surprised by her decision to grab dinner in L.A. last night in an outfit that was notably missing a shirt. Rih was just getting back from performing/hanging with Drake on his European tour, so all her favorite tops are probably wrinkled from her suitcase. Or the more likely explanation: She is Rihanna and can do whatever she wants. Either way, she rocked the look so hard that the restaurant's manager probably threw his entire rule book out the window.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LADA GAGA! I'm sure everyone will be celebrating in appropriate style tonight (glitter bombs, platform boots, scantily clad dancers, etc.), but Gaga decided to kick things off early by hitting the town last night, just ahead of her seven-night Roseland residency. One of her Little Monsters captured her late-night appearance via Instagram, and she was in FULL party mode. She happily danced while all her fans sang "Happy Birthday" and proudly announced, "I made it past 27!"—a somewhat morbid reference, perhaps, to the infamous 27 Club.
Who wore Astrid Andersen better?

Adding to the looming questions about their relationship status, Drake and Rihanna appear to have been swapping clothes as they’ve been dining across Europe in between shows for Drizzy’s Nothing Was the Same tour. Two weeks ago, Rihanna left Manchester in a Pigalle hoodie previously worn by Aubrey and now they might be sharing this black fur Astrid Andersen jacket. IDK about you, but it sounds like they're asking for a Who Wore It Better.
You might not be aware, but Lady Gaga likes to dress a little ~outrageously~ once in a while. I know, it's SHOCKING news, but now you know. In the past three days alone, her street style has involved more costume changes than the average pop star's entire world tour. Does she just have racks of clothes and platform boots hidden all over the city/world? Or does she pull a Superman and speedily switch outfits in telephone booths? Therein lies the enigmatic magic of Mother Monster's style.
In an attempt to bring human logic to Lady Gaga's recent sartorial choices—I know that seems impossible, but just bear with me—we decided to turn each outfit into a simple mathematical equation. So without further ado, here is the "fashion math" of Gaga's street style.

Not a single day goes by that Rihanna doesn't make waves in the fashion world. She has always been our unofficial Queen of Style, but now, she is finally going to be *officially* recognized for her valiant efforts. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced today that their 2014 Fashion Icon is none other than RiRi herself, and our main reaction to the news is: IT'S ABOUT TIME. The annual award honors fashion trailblazers (past winners include Lady Gaga and Johnny Depp), and after Rihanna's ultra glamorous 2013-14, we can't imagine any worthier recipient. Take a look back at all the memorable reasons why CFDA totally made the right decision.
SHE BECAME THE FACE OF BALMAIN

Back in December, Rihanna announced on Instagram (her news outlet of choice) that she was the newest face of Balmain. She also kindly provided a slew of pics from the campaign, teaching us how to look chic wearing power suits in a steam room—we had always wondered, so thanks, Rih!
SHE LANDED HER THIRD 'VOGUE' COVER
Rihanna on the cover of 'Vogue.'
Rihanna looked naturally bold on the March 2014 cover of Vogue, and the accompanying inside spread was just as gorgeous. Her wardrobe varied from oversized jackets to couture Versace, which only affirmed her ability to wear ANY trend. She also was kind enough to dole out some of her super-secret fashion tips, which was thoughtful of her.
Rihanna's totally sheer skirt outfit.
I see London. I see France. I see Rihanna's underpants! Yesterday was the first day of spring which, for many, means it’s time to pull out the pastels and florals. You know, the kinds of things you could wear to Sunday brunch or a nice dinner out on a balmy evening. But for Badgalriri that theme meant wearing florals a la a white sheer skirt by Simone Rocha with pink underwear.
Shay Mitchell repping her Beyhive status.

ALERT: How are we just learning about this very proud member of the Beyhive??? Shay Mitchell is not only a Beyonce fan, but one who wears her merch. Often. We first spotted a pic of Shay wearing the
Angel crew neck in New York, and we were like, "Oh haiii, Shay, you're a girl after our own heart." Upon further research, we discovered that Shay isn't only wearing the sweatshirt because she likes the simple pink-and-black design, but because she knows very, very intimately how to wear Beyonce merch!
