Kelly Osbourne at Cadillac and Refinery29's Driven by Digital: Leaders in Style + Tech summer cocktail party

If you were thinking Kelly Osbourne's bright-purple, major undercut mini-mohawk couldn't get any ~edgier~, think again. Last night, she used a little magic and a lot of hairspray—probably!—to transform her short strands into an intricately woven braid situation (whoever said short hair had to be boring?!) that was secured with approximately one billion safety pins. I lost count after 27 because I'm bad at math but point is: THERE WERE LOTS.
The best part? You don't have to dye your hair purple (though you can/should if you want to), nor do you have to get an undercut mohawk (see previous parenthetical) to steal the look.

And by "furry accessory" we don't mean Tay is walking around in New York City's heat and humidity dressed in a floor-length mink coat or these whackadoo sneaker wedges, but rather with her brand-new baby kitten in hand. Before PETA protests, I realize pets aren't *technically* accessories. They live and breathe and feel feelings, just like you and me. But! Is there a cuter addition to any outfit—or life in general—than a baby animal? There is not. Just ask Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, or Paris Hilton (remember Tinkerbell? What ever happened to Tinkerbell? Do we even want to know?).
Demi Lovato can rock a smoky eye or a statement lip with the best of 'em—and often does—but the girl doesn't need a 24/7 makeup artist to look *flawless*. Yesterday, she posted (yet another!) inspiring makeup-free selfie for us all to collectively gasp and obsess over. Those brows! That skin! THOSE FRECKLES! It's almost too much to take.
Greetings from MTV Style HQ. As the Senior Bangs Correspondent—a title given me upon realizing that I am the only Style staffer with bangs—I'm here to discuss the state of Mother Monster's hair. Lady Gaga has been photographed everywhere lately with a healthy head of "Italian curls"—on the street, in a tub, and so on, leading many of us to wonder: What's actually under the wig? The answer: very short, blunt baby bangs.
We shouldn't have been surprised. Gaga's been seeding her Instagram with photos of Audrey Hepburn. The signs were there.
Miley Cyrus in an Ashish x Topshop bathing suit.

Yesterday, Miley Cyrus posted photos of herself in a bright orange swimsuit next to her sister who was, for some unknown reason, wearing a leopard print onesie, ears, and a painted-on nose and whiskers. While her sister's outfit warrants its own discussion, we're here to talk about Miley's swimsuit—it's from the brand new Ashish x Topshop collection. Miley isn't the only female pop star to be as into this collection as we are—Rita Ora, Lily Allen, and Katy Perry have also shown off their pieces. The collection is all over Instagram and I'd like to get in on it, OK?
Miley, actually, is the only celeb to show off a piece from the collection that we plebes can buy online. I thank you for that, Miley.
Rita Ora in Ashish x Topshop shoes.

Rita Ora, on the other hand, showed off the light-up sneakers that have been making the rounds on Instagram. The shoes sold out within the hour, so there go my dreams of getting my feet in a pair of these.
Yesterday it was announced that Zendaya will be starring in Lifetime's upcoming Aaliyah biopic (!!!), which is all sorts of brilliant because (a) Z's basically been acting since she was born and will surely do the part justice, and (b) the ink hasn't even dried on her contract, but she's *already* nailing Aaliyah's style.
The 17-year-old Disney actress has been taking style cues from the R&B legend for years, which is saying a lot because, well, she's 17. Zendaya does a ton of paying homage to the late great Miss Haughton on Instagram (see what I mean?!), and she even dressed up as her for Halloween last year in an incredibly enviable '90s-era Tommy Hilfiger getup.
So, check out our favorite times she's channeled the Age Ain't Nothing But a Number icon.

Y'all having a slumber party?
Photos: Splash News/Getty Images
Um, was there a mass slumber party invite sent to all my best friends that I somehow missed? Because, TBH, that's the only explanation for why both Lady Gaga and Rihanna have worn pink robes out in public recently. Since my two pals are obviously planning their sleepover outfits without consulting me, it's only right we discuss whether Gaga or Rih pulled the robe look off better.
Lady Gaga wore her silk robe out yesterday while heading to a surprise performance with Tony Bennett at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in New York City. She paired it, of course, with her preferred wig, a heavy smokey eye, and nude stiletto sandals. The robe has a deep V, which might be impractical for sleeping, but makes for a pretty glamorous dress option.
Yesterday North West (aka #WORLDSMOSTTALKEDABOUTBABY) had her first birthday, and it looks like she's already taking after her dad in the fashion department. Not that we're surprised: North's ever-expanding wardrobe has been stocked with designer duds since she was only a few months old thanks to all of Kanye's designer friends. But this Father's Day, which coincided with her birthday, North showed off a new side of her steez that was less fancy and more functional. Kim Instagrammed North napping alongside Kanye in a cozy heather gray tee that matched her dad's, making our collective hearts melt. We still haven't gotten over how utterly adorable the photo is, but anytime there's matching, our brains automatically flips the "Who wore it better?" switch.
Lorde at the 2014 MuchMusic Video Awards.

While the Jenners were in various states of undress—exposing pelvic bones and other body parts—at this weekend's MuchMusic Awards, Lorde made just as big of a statement wearing not one but two pantsuits, which have become something of her signature look. They weren't your average Zzz-inducing black two-pieces, because Lorde is literally incapable of being boring. Rather, both were intensely '90s, undeniably #normcore (as eye-rolly as that descriptor is, it couldn't be more neccessary here), and in unexpected hues.
Lourdes Leon and Kelly Osbourne, the former face of Material Girl.

Like millions of graduating seniors across America, Madonna's 17-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon has commemorated the occasion with a thoughtful, reflective blog post about her last four years. Unlike millions of graduating seniors across America, however, Lourdes—who goes by Lola to her friends, and we're all friends here—didn't post hers on a personal Tumblr dotted with GIFs of Harry Styles and memes about memes, but rather the heavily trafficked website of Material Girl, the Macy's fashion line Lola designs with her mom. Stars: They're just like us, until they're not.
In the post, Lola writes about her nostalgia ("I was so excited about 'being done with school' and now that I’m actually done I’m like clammy and sweating and nervous because...WHAT?!?!") and gets introspective about what she's learned over the last few years, specifically when it comes to fashion.
