Nicole Richie dons protective glasses as she awaits the laser.

Nicole Richie
is HILARIOUS. She got her start on reality TV alongside bestie Paris Hilton on The Simple Life, and has proven her on-screen style savvy as a mentor on NBC's Fashion Star alongside Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos. Not that we had ANY questions about Nicole's style smarts—she is the design mastermind behind House Of Harlow 1960, Winter Kate, AND an eponymous Macy's line, not to mention a street style staple. Combining her gifts for humor and sartorial flair, Nicole is back on the small screen with her new AOL webseries #CandidlyNicole, based on her irreverent Twitter feed, and we have to say, it has us in stitches. In the first episode, Nicole pays a visit to Dr. Tattoff (not his real name, but don't tell Nicole that), to inquire about having an unfortunate piece of body artwork removed. Listen, we're not going to judge anyone's youthful indiscretions, but we agree that maybe a cross tramp stamp isn't the look a stylin' mother of two is going for. Nicole chats with the good doctor, as well as with some of her fellow prisoners of bad decisions, who are in the market to remove tats as classic(ally bad) as twin cherries or as confusing as a neck tattoo that says "TIMETRAVELER" but "everyone thinks it says 'Timberlake.'" Ummmmmm, good luck with that. Nicole actually has NINE tattoos, but she isn't looking to get all of them removed "just the embarrassing ones."

It's no secret that Emmy Rossum rules the small screen each week as Fiona Gallagher on Showtime's comedy Shameless (if you haven't seen it yet, start watching now!). However, if you've been lucky enough to catch the actress belting it out in flicks like Phantom of the Opera, then you know that she's also got a MAJOR set of musical pipes. And trust us when we say her vocal talent isn't just movie magic, either. Emmy's a classically trained singer, and her new album Sentimental Journey comes stocked with unique covers of classic songs spanning from the 1920s all the way to the '60s. Yep, what's old is officially new again, and a music project like this one calls for an equally retro music video look. Whether it's raiding flea markets or using old costumes from the eras to give the vids like "These Foolish Things" an authentic appeal, Emmy's a total vintage fashion PRO.

Florence Welch, Katy Perry, and Carey Mulligan at "Dress Gatsby".
Photo: Getty

It's unfortunate that the word 'timeless' is so overused, because there are some things that really deserve the designation. Miuccia Prada's designs are one of those truly timeless things, and that fact has never been more apparent than at the opening of "Dress Gatsby" at the Prada flagship store in New York City. Showcasing the 40 dresses costume designer Catherine Martin hand-picked for the pivotal party scenes in The Great Gatsby, the exhibit was a chance for party goers to see some of the modern designs that fit so seamlessly into the period piece, proving that anachronism is truly in the eye of the beholder. Although the gilded gowns were designed in and for the modern day, they don't pull you out of the roaring '20s feel of the film for a moment (at least from what we've been able to gather from the trailer). Also showcasing the sleek lines and delicate details of Prada's designs were some of the event's attendees, who ranged from those intimately acquainted with the Gatsby dresses—the film's star Carey Mulligan—to soundtrack contributor Florence Welch and, of course, celebs who are fans of the label, like Katy Perry, who broke up the crowd clad in minimal black in a graphic, muted purple floral dress with black and white detailing.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus for "V" Magazine.
Photo: V Magazine

We may STILL be reeling off of Miley Cyrus' TWO ELLE UK covers, but the platinum pixie-headed girl isn't stopping there on her quest to plaster her mug all over your newsstands. Hot on the heels of the ELLE UK release, V Magazine has revealed Billy Ray's little girl as their Summer 2013 cover girl. Not once, not even twice, but THREE. TIMES. *wipes sweat from upper lip* PHEW!

Unless you live in a vacuum bubble that seals off contact to all things nostalgic and AWESOME, you've probably heard that TLC IS REUNITING. And not only that, reportedly, T-Boz and Chilli are linking back up with the late great Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes via digital projections of precious archival performance footage (no Tupac hologram, guys) for a full-fledged reunion TOUR. One of the most iconic and prolific girl groups of the '90s will reassemble this July at VH1's Mixtape Festival, and we CAN'T. WAIT. In fact, we're so on the edge of our seats about this that we're already picking out what outfits we'll wear to the show—inspired by the ladies themselves, of course. Check 'em out below, and no, they don't include this No Scrubs tee or this votive candle. We don't remove those from the shrine.

CRAZY

TLC

A TLC reunion tour is a definite cause to go a little "crazy."

This is not to say that overalls are "crazy." On quite the contrary, we LOVE THEM. But pairing these acid wash overalls ($155.00) with a banana print crop top ($37.41), printed multi-color sneaker wedges ($88.00), and tying a seriously VIBRANT orange layering crewneck ($36.11) around your waist? That veers you right into crazytown. (No, erm, not that Crazy Town.) Top it all off with a pair of oil slick lensed Jeepers Peepers ($29.93), two raver pigtail buns, and maybe a condom or three attached to your ensemble, and you're "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"-extra ready!

Beyonce

Rita Ora wore a UNIF clear jacket at Coachella.
Photo: Splash/Nasty Gal

We're not the only ones feeling the spring fever vibes around here, you guys. Leave it to Rita Ora to get a major head start on some KEY warm weather trends this month, from rocking that old-meets-new version of the gladiator boot to strutting her stuff in a basketball jersey dress. Now the pop star's bringing yet another unexpected piece smack dab onto everyone's radar: the clear jacket. We spotted the singer traipsing around the Coachella festival grounds several weeks ago, repping her trademark tomboy style (and uh, showing off her rock hard abs) in a graphic Carven skirt, fresh white Supergas, a HUF hat, and, the piece de resistance, her see-through moto jacket. Remember when Lady Gaga hopped on the transparent clothing fad early in her plastic frock at the 2010 EMA?! Well, Rita's version definitely a more wearable option for everyone who isn't brave enough to wear nipple stickers IRL. In other words, most of us...?

Beyonce

The more affordable tickets for the North American leg of Beyonce's The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour are long gone, but, and maybe this is a totally off-base suggestion, there are actually a few VIP packages still available. If you're anything like me, you probably COMPLETELY ruled out those tickets, and understandably so. I mean, several hundred bucks is no small price to pay for one night, even if it's with Beyonce. Plus, it's a lot harder to get a group of friends together when everyone is paying sooooo much. It's a situation that seems so out-of-the-question that you probably didn't even open up those VIP package descriptions (even with their fun names like "Upgrade U" and "We Like To Party"). Welp, we did. And what we found was surprising.

Haim on the June cover of ASOS magazine.
Photo: ASOS Magazine/Michael Hauptman

It's no secret that we love the sisters Haim around here. We've just about worn away the play button on all of our various devices hitting repeat on their 2012 single "Don't Save Me," and we MAY have even sung it in karaoke more than once. Maybe. Beyond just crafting one undeniable hit after another and putting on one of the best live shows we've seen in AWHILE, the sisters also have great style, both as a group and individually. We've chatted with them (and their music video stylists) about it in the past, and we're overjoyed to see it captured so well on the June cover of ASOS magazine. The girls are each wearing looks that reflect their style, with Alana, a.k.a. BabyHaim, wearing an ASOS crop top emblazoned with the year '1990,' middle sister—and resident tomboy—Danielle in an Ashish sequined numbers oversized shirt dress, and eldest sis Este in an ASOS crop top and Antipodium metallic skirt. The shoot is sunny and fun and the photos look as though they could almost be candids from the sisters' own lives in their native LA.

Chemistry is a real thing, and it can make ALL the difference in a photo spread. The Haim sisters are obviously super comfortable with one another, not just from playing in a band together but from, you know, growing up in the same house for their entire lives, and the ease and humor with which they interact is undeniable. On the cover, Este gleefully makes a mustache with Danielle's long brown hair, and the interior shots are no less playful. The girls manage to make a chain link fence look as exciting as a rollercoaster ride in shiny jeans and a T-shirt for Danielle, a psychedelic, Tumblr-meets-canyon-lady maxi dress for Este, and, of course, Alana's signature jean shorts and a graphic long-sleeved shirt. Are you taking notes? We certainly have been. The mag is available now on the ASOS Fashion Up app, available from the app store.

What do you think of Haim's ASOS mag cover?

Katy Perry at the White House Correspondents' Dinner and at the Lincoln Memorial over the weekend.
Photo: Getty/@KatyPerry Twitter

If you want a guidebook for how to do spring dressing right, look no further than Katy Perry. The singer has transitional dressing down pat, and her recent weekend in Washington for the White House Correspondents' Dinner is a perfect example. For the big night, Katy wore a luminescent green Giambattista Valli gown with natural, branch-like detailing at the waist. The color reminded us a lot of Katy's mint green Gucci Grammys dress, and has us wondering if we're going to be seeing the singer in more leafy hues as the warmer months progress. The strapless gown looks almost to be made of acetate, with the green giving way to brown in places, lending the whole look a very fairy-like vibe. In keeping with the natural tone, Katy wore her makeup neutral, with a pink lip and subtly-lined eye taking no shine away from the dress. Her hair was also loose and natural, pushed to the side in thick curls.

Miley Cyrus covers June 'ELLE' UK.
Photo: Courtesy of 'ELLE' UK.

It's official: the fashion world is infected with Miley Cyrus fever, and by the looks of it, this condition is highly contagious. But wait a second, that's a good thing! The singer is everywhere these days, whether she's twerking it in a unicorn onesie or glamming it up in...another onesie? Well, OK. *shrugs* Regardless of what she's wearing or who she's collab-ing with, we all know that Miley's got it (whatever "it" is). And now she's ushering in her highly anticipated new sound, new look, and new 'tude with yet another magazine cover! This time she's showing her style stuff for ELLE UK, trading her signature jumpers for a slick silk vest (unbuttoned to the stomach, natch) by Lanvin and a gold pendant by Saint Laurent. These straight-from-the-runway wares come topped off with a purple smoky eye, her trademark tats, and a sultry "come hither" swagger...if THIS cover doesn't send tons of panting fans to the newsstands, like, now, then sorry, we don't know what will.
