Azealia Banks on the cover of 'Galore.'
Photo: Rony Alwin for Galore Mag
Azealia Banks (times three!) is on the cover of Galore's brand new Music & Friendship Issue. And, rather than having you traipse all over town to round up three different covers, as many mags do, Galore has given us three Azealias for the price of one. Multiple images means multiple outfits, which, maybe, should be the new cover standard?
The A.Z. front-and-center wears a metallic crop top and matching skirt, which, surprisingly, are not sold together but are the creations of two different companies: That's Totally Fine and This Is A Love Song. Along with coordinating metallics, the MC also shows off her affinity for pasties for the cover with some 3-D butterflies (and very little else). We've seen a lot of pasties in our day, but it's been a while since we've seen any that would mess with the drape of your shirt. (Side note: There are so many pasties in the world, y'all.)
Good news, everyone! It's Fashion Week again, and that means two things for us at MTV Style: street style and Jarvis Derrell. Last NYFW, we had Jarvis break down his fave street style looks the #shehashadit way, and we're bringing him back to do it again. I mean, how could we not? We pick up all our best hashtags from Jarvis, and after reading his posts, you too will be #EDUCATED. Below is his Day One dispatch, check back all week for more!
Yaaaaaaaassssss, Kiesha, yaaaaaaasssss!!!! Guuuurrrrlll, YUUUPPP, it's that's time again!!! You know it's New York Fashion Week, when you see all the nice quiet white girls with blogs go put on everything in their closets, take the 2/3 train down to Lincoln Center, and do everything possible to pretend to be surprised by a sensible swarm of photographers taking their photos!!!! YAAAASSSS, I'm obsessed!!!! Sooo excited for a full week of street fashion and the epic poses they go hand and hand with!!! Here are a few of my favorites!

The full frontal "my body is a canvas, therefore my eyes are dead" straightforward glance into oblivion, and the crown jewel of poses, the "broken baby-doll, heavy clutch, hard life, where am I" pose!!!!! EKKKKK, Kiesha, I'm just so excited gurl!!! #shesabouttohaveit #putonyourbestlisafrank #runtolincolncenter #illbethere #livingforallofit #nojudgement #justlove #haha #sorta #namaste
The U.S. Olympic Team and a mysterious snow woman.

If you livestreamed the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony, you were probably unable to focus on Team USA's patriotic Ralph Lauren sweater ensembles due to a mysterious woman who was walking in front of them. Decked out in white and wearing an extremely ornate headpiece, she caused quite a commotion on Twitter. It wasn't because they were wearing white after Labor Day but because no one (with the exception of the Russians) had any idea who these ladies were or why they were dressed like extras from this SNL sketch. With the power vested in us (by Googling Russian fairy tales), let us explain.
Rihanna is often heralded as the queen of transformations, but Nicki Minaj doesn’t get nearly enough credit. Just look how flawless she looks on her recent Instagram spree with her natural hair, straightened and pulled into a tight ponytail, then subsequently into an elegant tri-bun—pretty sure she just coined that last 'do. (Though, Katy Perry's Grammys look comes pretty close.)
Beyonce has you covered this Valentine's Day.

If rapper and pop star valentines won’t cut it for your boo, don’t sweat, Beyonce has you covered. The First Lady of Pop is releasing a Yours & Mine box set just in time for V-Day, and it comes with Beyonce-approved lingerie, so you can tell your loved one, “I just wanna say you’re mine.” We always knew Beyonce was thoughtful, but this box set is another reminder: For $40, you’ll get any combination of his & hers, hers & hers, or his & his undies and can choose from boxers and boyshorts emblazoned with “Yours” and “Mine” (the title of her song with Drake) in her album’s iconic pink font. (SERFBOARDT sweatshirt not included.) Just be sure to order by February 8 to guarantee delivery in time for the holiday.
Erykah Badu and Riccardo Tisci for 'V' magazine.

Erykah Badu’s relationship with Givenchy keeps getting better. Not only did the neo-soul songstress partly inspire the fashion house’s Afrocentric-meets-Japanese spring collection, she was also tapped to star in their campaign. And it’s one of the better ones of the season, with Badu flawlessly modeling some of the collection’s strongest looks, like the off-the-shoulder beaded mask tapestry and the deconstructed tux kimono with a top hat. In a batch of campaign photos Badu posted to her Facebook page, she also mixes pieces from Spring '14 with ones from past seasons and her signature turban.
Miley Cyrus in bed with Mert and Marcus.
Photo: @mileycyrus' Twitter
Welp, it was just a matter of time until Miley Cyrus went completely topless for all to see. The signs were there: the pasties she wore to promote Unplugged, her Rolling Stone cover, her totally naked W cover where she uses a pillow as a coverup. The list goes on. As it turns out, Miley lost her pillow and went full-on topless—no pasties this time—for W. Fittingly, in the wee hours of the night, she tweeted a picture of her back in her bed, topless, and next to the photographers who took the portrait with the caption, “Coming soon in @wmag ‘bedtime portraits by @mertalass & @macpiggott’ so xxxited check it out to 2 the real deal.” We can’t begin to guess how the other “bedtime” portraits turned out?
Emma Watson for 'Wonderland.'
Photo: Wonderland magazine
There are only, like, two or three people on the planet who don't already want to be IRL friends with Emma Watson, and after they get a load of her Wonderland interview—in which she spills about her social anxieties and wondering if she should apply for an internship—she'll probably be getting a certificate for being a BFF in the mail. The girl is just innately lovable and sweet as pie.
On the flip side, the accompanying fashion editorial—which seems to go with the first of her dual covers, the one Em herself describes as "Afro Prada Bruiser"—suggests there's also latent sultriness to the ex-Hermione Granger. She's always seemed wise beyond her years, but now, her vamped-up wardrobe and smoldering eyes finally seem to be catching up. For starters, Emma channels her inner biker babe in a Diesel Tribute minidress constructed of patched leather. With its zip-up front and tiny straps, this dress is a far cry from Hogwarts' strict dress code.
Rita Ora for Material Girl

If you're in major need of a pick-me-up on this icy day, might we suggest peeping Rita Ora's brand new Material Girl campaign? (The polar vortex better watch its back, because these pics are HOT.) While the Fall 2013 campaign for Madonna's clothing line with her daughter, Lola, featured Rita posted up alongside prominent London landmarks, the Spring 2014 portfolio is all about Miami! Rita shows off the new collection as she struts down Ocean Drive and leans on vintage cars, and the clothes definitely reflect her summery attitude.
Lady Gaga on the March cover of 'Harper's Bazaar.'
Photo: Harper's Bazaar
After being noticeably absent from our lives thus far in 2014, Lady Gaga has resurfaced on the cover of Harper's Bazaar. While we've missed the multi-outfit days of November, between the spread and interview, there is a ton of fashion in this piece. There's prob enough to tide us over for, like, at least a week.
The spread was shot by Gaga BFF Terry Richardson, and on the cover she rocks a short blonde 'do and no shirt. She's not Miley-level nekkid—she has on a sparkly Saint Laurent jacket. And after staring at this picture for a few minutes, I'm honestly not sure what you could wear under that jacket, so no shirt seems pretty reasonable, IMHO.
