Beyonce's 2014 official calendar cover.

The Carter-Knowles family is getting way into the holiday spirit this year! First, Jay Z revealed he's collaborating with Barneys on a holiday collection, and now, Beyonce has released her first-ever calendar. Merry Christmas, Blue Ivy, you're in for a lot of expensive presents and a calendar. You may not even be two years old, but it's never too early to keep track of your meetings on a calendar that exclusively features pictures of your mom.
The calendar's cover spotlights Bey, her abs, and a matching sequined hat, gloves, and crop top—a steez ripped straight from her Mrs. Carter Show tour wardrobe. Her long hair is back and she's sportin' a serious smokey eye. Sequins and a smokey eye: what more does a photo need? Absolutely nothing. Abs are optional, though preferred.
Well, well, well. It seems as if M.I.A. is a lady of her word! (Not that we ever doubted her, of course.) Granted, it was starting to feel a little bit “girl who cried Medusa head” after the rapper first alluded to her Versus Versace collab in November of last year, gave us radio silence about the alleged line for ten months, and then spilled another confirmation of the project to an unsuspecting WWD reporter during Paris Fashion Week. Oh and BTW, she said last month that not only would it happen, but it was on its way out in two weeks. We were all like, SCURRT! Pump the breaks. TWO WEEKS? That sounds cray. Cray but true, we’ve learned, as the collaboration was officially announced by Versace today and is set to hit shelves on October 16th. (OK, so technically more like 3 weeks, but we’ll let it slide because GIMME.)
Cassadee Pope at the premiere of 'Frame By Frame.'

Curious about Cassadee Pope? Well, you're in luck! The Voice winner's CMT docu-series is premiering tonight (pssst, you can watch the full premiere episode online now) and gives a behind-the-scenes look (our fave!) at Cassadee's life after The Voice, including touring with Rascal Flatts and recording her debut album, which comes out on October 8th. CMT had a chance to discuss ~looks~ and #FASHUN with the singer, so we figured we'd highlight the best five parts so when you're watching Frame By Frame tonight (or in 10 minutes), you'll be well-versed in all things Cassadee.
Demi Lovato on the cover of 'Teen Vogue.'
Photo: Teen Vogue
We’ve seen Demi Lovato do a lot of things with her hair (remember when she dyed it blue on Wednesday? #memories), but this is the first time we’ve ever seen her –or any star, for that matter—rock a braided silk scarf as like, the tail of an actual braid. How do you even do that?! Tutorial, plz. For her second Teen Vogue cover, the singer/actress/X Factor Judge/Glee guest star/The New Black nail polish collaborator (whew! *wipes brow*) traded her rock-star style for a more relaxed, city-girl-in-the-country look, pairing a low-cut red top with a charcoal wide-brimmed felt fedora and a stunning emerald and gold necklace.
If you're anything like us, the card-carrying Smilers over hurr at MTV, you've probably watched our brand new Miley Cyrus documentary, Miley: The Movement, about a gazillion times. You've pulled stills for your Facebook cover photo. You've looked up where to cop those medallion and chain Versus Versace leggings she sports on the plane. You've even memorized all the quotes. Far be it from us to recap what you already know, learned, and have imprinted forever. What we WILL do, though, is try to enlighten you to a few fashion Easter eggs from the doc that you might have missed.
DETACHABLE RAT TAIL
Miley: The Movement.
OK, so there's no way you missed the rat tail Miley wears shooting her Bangerz album package. Not with all the whipping she did with it. (P.S. if you want more GIFs, our friends at Buzzworthy have, like, a jillion more!) But what you might not have realized was that it was completely and very easily detachable. Pay close attention to the scene where she's talking to her mom about it. Miley just snaps it off mid-conversation!
Beyonce paints her nails pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

If you thought you were low-maintenance because you only get a manicure every once in a blue moon, consider this: Beyonce paints her own nails (or did at least one time). And there's even photographic evidence. Queen Bey took to Instagram to show us that she was in the midst of painting her pinky pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month. If we can see both her hands, who is taking the pic, Blue Ivy? Jay? Her nails were already pink (she probably did those herself, too, LBR), but then she added some ~sparkle~. Pink on pink. Casual four fingers, fancy pinky.
Vanessa Hudgens debuts her new 'do on Instagram.

Aww yeahhhh, Vanessa Hudgens just turned up the ombre hair game by 1000%. The dark on top, light on bottom look has been around for a while and was due for a change, and Vanessa is just the lady to provide that ~inspiration~. V. Hudg, a proud member of the Frequently Changing Hair Club™, debuted her new look on Instagram and only one word comes to mind: autumnal. That word could be stuck in our brains because her caption tells us it's her "autumn hair" (my autumn hair is the same as my winter, spring, and summer hair!), OR it could be because the blend of red, yellow, and brown really evokes a feeling of fall foliage. I know exactly what having nature-inspired hair is like: mine often feels and looks like a nest.
A still from Nicki Minaj's "Minajesty" commercial.

Attention all BARBZ, near and far! Sound the trumpets, ring the alarm and bow down to Her Minajesty! *bows down* For she hath arrived and she comes bearing gifts. (OK, it’s actually just one gift, but there are so many gifts inside this gift that it’s more like a Russian nesting doll of gifts.) Finally, after months of sneak peeks and Instagrammed stills, the FULL commercial for Nicki Minaj’s newest fragrance, Minajesty, is HERE! *throws confetti* Minaj debuted the 30-second spot last night and, as expected, it’s “gag century” (translation: amazing).
We first see our queen in the forest, wearing that now-familiar voluminous pink gown, a huge head of hair and RULL heavy looking chain-link jewelry. Behind Ms. Minaj, who holds a dove, is a super-stately looking white horse that could also maybe be a unicorn? There’s no obvious horn to be seen, but I mean, just look at the mist in that forest. Magic is happening, people. And where magic happens, unicorns will soon follow. At least that’s what the stories tell me.
Well, with Miley: The Movement coming to screens in two days (#YAAAS), we figured we should take a look back Miley Cyrus' changes throughout her career and, what better way than through her hair? It's hard to imagine there was ever a time when she didn't have her iconic short 'do, but there was. Oh, how there was. She may only be 20, but she's had a lot of hairstyles. We rounded up the 23 (weird, what a coincidence!) biggest hair changes she's undergone in the past seven years. This Miley Cyrus hair journey will perfectly prepare you for Wednesday: you'll be the resident Miley hair expert wherever you watch, whether with friends, or by yourself in your bedroom (preferable, TBH).

Aww, lil' bb Miley at TRL in 2006. Her hair is long, brown, and curly. What a difference seven years makes, amirite?
Nicki Minaj and the Limited Collector's Edition Herve Leger Barbie.

BARBZ! Hold on to your braless shirts, because the news is about to get meta. First things first, let’s rehash some facts:
1.) Nicki Minaj is a fan of Herve Leger. Big time. We know this because:
a. Those bathing suits.
b. That front-row worthy black-and-white harnessed dress. (Point of interest: Harnesses are still happening, but they are NOT for the faint of heart.)
c. Those leather jogging pants. (That apparently Kanye was actually the first to create, ICYMI.)
Etc., etc. and so forth. Basically, there’s nary a bandage-garment that Nicki’s curves didn’t like, and it seems as if the feeling is mutual. (Aww, love!)
