Kristen Stewart Elle UK

Ladies and gents, feast your eyes on Kristen Stewart taking OVER the June 2012 cover of ELLE UK! We get so giddy whenever we see the Twilight star transform from her typically tomboy self into a totally femme fashion icon, and we have to say this is one of our fave K Stew covers of 2012. She is definitely channeling the '60s sex kitten look from last year's W Magazine shoot but with a more modern feel. She rocks a head-to-toe Jil Sander ensemble—a perforated crop top beige knit sweater over a tailored dress and matching skirt—and some of the best beauty game in the biz. I mean, look at that HAIR. Her long locks have been blown out into a sleek, '60s tucked-under faux bob, which is totally giving us Betty Draper vibes. For her makeup, she emphasizes her steely blue eyes with a strong brow, a light smokey eye, long lashes, and barely-there blush. She kept her nails au naturel (in pure K Stew style!) and WERKED a stellar pose.

Kendall Kylie Jenner Seventeen Fashion Contributors

Kendall and Kylie Jenner aren't even 17 years old yet, but they already have their dream job—working as West Coast contributors for Seventeen magazine! The sisters announced the big news on their blog, and, um, we only have one thing to say: JEALS! Most ladies work for-ev-er to land a gig at a big time mag, and they haven't even left high school yet. Apparently the too-cool twosome will be doling out TONS of style advice, which we love to hear. "People always ask us for fashion and beauty tips, and now we can share them directly with readers," Kendall said of her new gig. "It’s really exciting for us! Our first piece will debut in the mag’s June/July issue and we can’t wait to show you guys!!" She then posted cuter-than-cute photos of her and Kylie clowin' around the office, and we couldn't be more excited for them. Kendall's already making a huge mark in the fash world thanks to her stellar runway walk (see: Sherri Hill and Abbey Dawn's spring 2012 NYFW shows) and ability to pose for huge editorial spreads, so we can't WAIT to see what these ladies come up with!

Azealia Banks Elle

Another day, another amazing Elle "Women In Music" photo shoot! This time the mag featured one of our fave female rappers, Ms. Azealia Banks. Nicola Formichetti styled AND shot AZ in this Mickey Mouse-inspired ensemble, which takes us wayyyy back to our Disneyland days. (Also, hai, remember her "212" music video debut in a Mickey sweater? Looks like someone has a soft spot for that ol' mouse.) Here she sports a Moschino chapeau (which is actually a matador hat!) to match Mickey on her custom canary yellow Boadicea Claridge latex dress—and quizzical facial expression.

Jessie J Elle Magazine

To continue celebrating Elle magazine's "Women In Music" issue (you know, the one with the saucy picture of Rihanna on the cover), we couldn't HELP but share this amazeball Jessie J fashion shoot with y'all. We love how Ms. J manages to mix kitschy aesthetics with high fashion couture pieces for an all out fun and fierce fash-sesh. First up, an '80s power suit ensemble that we just can't tear our eyes away from. She's sporting an entirely neoprene black and yellow zebra-striped Proenza Schouler ensemble and leather (!!!) Natalia Brilli bamboo earrings paired with red hair and even redder lips. Yowza!

Zooey Deschanel Marie Claire

New Girl Zooey Deschanel has a new look! The sitcom star ditched her typically-twee bright outfits for edgier, darker ensembles in Marie Claire's May issue, and we like it. I mean, we're practically goth, AND we live in New York City so we have a huge soft spot for all-black ensembles, but seriously, we're loving the more mysterious side of Zooey. Instead of sporting her signature soft waves and crimson red lips, she tousled up her jet black hair and wore smudgy smokey eyes for a rock'n'roll-meets-mod bedhead vibe we CANNOT deny. For her ensemble, she donned a body-conscious shimmery beaded Hervé Léger by Max Azria shift dress with black tights, studded Valentino Garavani ankle boots, and a thick silver chain choker (which are actually bracelets worn as a necklace!). We never thought we'd see the day that our ol' Zooey decided to go goth, but we are sooo on-board.

Lana Del Rey Glamour Paris

Just when we think Lana Del Rey can't look ANY more perfect, she tweets a photo of her latest magazine takeover for Glamour Paris, and now we're basically dead. First off, we've never seen this, erm, side of Lana before. I mean, quite literally we've never really focused on the singer's backside because her face alone is enough to stop most people dead in their tracks (those lips! Those lashes!). But we're SO on board with Ms. Del Rey showing off her assets in the most cutesy of ways. She sported high-waisted metallic silver shorts (which we lovingly refer to as "shunderwear") paired with a subtly sexy sheer pink blouse and oversized white lace collar. She channels total pin-up perfection with her long chestnut waves pulled to the side in a delicate bow, sultry dark eyes, light lips, and strong brows. She added a pop of color with crimson red satin platform stilettos and finished the whole look with a smize so hypnotizing we can barely turn away.

Katy Perry Teen Vogue

We literally high-fived in the MTV Style office when we found out that Teen Vogue's May cover girl was Katy Perry. We think she's the perfect gal to grace the pages of a young, fash-forward mag because she's always taking fun style risks while keeping her confidence in check. In one of our favorite images from the spread (seriously, this could be an ad campaign!), Katy channels her inner vintage vixen in a black and white polka dot Oscar de la Renta dress and black heels. She also sported a birdcage Victoria Grant headpiece over her twisted back bright blue 'do (which matches her nails!) for a throwback feel we're seriously loving. Katy's modern-meets-pinup style is definitely reflected in her fashion icons. She told Teen Vogue, "I love Agyness Deyn, Chloë Sevigny, Daphne Guinness, Natalie Wood, Judy Jetson, and Wonder Woman." She continued, "I'm still doing the pinup thing, but now when I do it, I want to be the pinup of the future, like Rachael in Blade Runner. But I've always been quirky—it probably started when I was nine years old, and my father used to wake me up at seven every Saturday morning to take me to garage sales. I couldn't afford the clothes that the other girls at school were wearing, so instead I looked for things that were unique to me." Ahhh, now it's all starting to make sense!

Rihanna on the May cover of 'Elle' magazine.
Photo: Elle Magazine/Tom Munro

We will never get tired of seeing our girl Rihanna on the cover of fash mags because she's ALWAYS switching up her look. Whether she's sporting nothing but dirt and leaves (which still blows our mind) or is completely covered in accessories, we're always oohing an ahhing over her ever-changing appeal. This month she graces the cover of Elle magazine wearing a head-to-toe studded pale yellow lambskin Versace ensemble styled by The City's Joe Zee! Her moto jacket, bandeau top, and high-waisted skirt are all AMAZING pieces on their own, but put together it creates a head-turning look that we can't help but drool over. For accessories, she sported stacked David Yurman bracelets and layered silver necklaces—plus a body harness underneath that bandeau. Her beauty game is unreal per ushe. She rocked a soft, layered blonde 'do with sweeping bangs and grown-out roots for a touch of badassness we're really into. She also wore a pop of pale pink on her lips paired with dark brows and long burgundy nails.

Lauren Conrad Glamour

Lauren Conrad on the May cover of "Glamour."
Photo: Via Glamour's Facebook

Ooh la la! Our Hills girl Lauren Conrad bares all on the May cover of Glamour magazine by posing topless poolside. We're not used to seeing the saucier side of LC, but we have to say, she looks GREAT. She totally channeled a soft, '60s sex kitten look with her tousled bouffant 'do, liquid liner, and light pink lips. She even sported high-waisted Blumarine flowery bikini bottoms that are subtly sexy with her overall ensemble (if we can call it that!). We're not surprised to see LC in something super dainty and girly—I mean, have you not seen her entire LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's collection? Flirty frocks and florals galore! But, dang, could Lauren look any MORE like a cool, toned, and tanned California girl? Nope!

The Fabulous Fanning Fashion Sisters™ are at it again! You might recall the fashion face-off heard 'round zee fashion world earlier this year when acting wunderkind siblings, Dakota and Elle Fanning, were featured on competing February fashion titles. Well, the phenomenon has happened yet again, as Dakota graces this month's My Fair Lady-esque Wonderland magazine cover while Elle is featured in a sun-kissed California shoot for Self-Service magazine. Our question is: Who triumphs in this international magazine fashion face-off?
