Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Lily McMenamy

Photos: i-D

The latest episode of Lily McMenamy's (brilliant! underrated! hilariously entertaining!) web series for i-D guest stars the legendary Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, who imparts style wisdom and life advice (specifically and winningly: "FASHUN HAVE TO BE FUN") while wearing a Jeremy Scott track suit accessorized with Chanel bags worn as necklaces.

If you're all, "Wait, what, who?," Carlyne is the genius stylist behind Anna Wintour's first-ever Vogue cover (and about a billion covers since), and Lily is the 22-year-old model offspring of '90s supermodel Kristen McMenamy and French nightclub owner Hubert Boukobza. Together they're the coolest chicks you could ever want to have a slumber party and girl talk with. And since you can't actually do that, watching this video is the next best thing.

Chanel Iman, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls

Looking to learn new recipes that are taught by beautiful people? You're in luck! The third season of Jourdan Dunn's online cooking show, "Well Done With Jourdan Dunn," just premiered and she had two fellow models helping her cook a vegan Thai chili. Chanel Iman and Joan Smalls assisted Jourdan in cutting vegetables and—oh, NBD—reminisced about that time they were all in a Beyonce video. It doesn't seem like a bad way to live, TBH.

Cara Delevingne

IDK about you, but I can barely walk in a straight line without keeping my eyes firmly planted on the ground in front of me. Trying to operate my phone without tripping or stepping into oncoming traffic? Never gonna happen. And thanks to Cara Delevingne, I'm made even more blatantly aware of my lack of motor-skill multitasking.

As if headlining London Fashion Week wasn't impressive enough, Cara filmed herself DURING her runway walks at Giles Deacon's show and posted the footage to her Instagram account. Of course, she made it look super easy and natural, which is why she's a professional model and I'm not (yep, that's the only reason).

The first of her six vids was like a teaser trailer. Cara shows us the backstage lineup, yelling, "It's about to happen, it's about to happen! Oh my gosh, first live video from a catwalk! AHHHHHHH!"

Morgan O'Connor, Jimmy Fallon

I know we just got done with a week of hyping up the new clothes that'll be gracing our closets the next time fall and winter come around, but I wanna rewind to present day for a sec. Have you guys seen the Fall/Winter 2013 campaign for Polo Ralph Lauren? Or I guess, since the campaign itself is actually pretty standard fare for RL—Americana, camping, incongruous brights + herringbone tweed styling choices—the better question is: Have you seen this new model with the dreads (Ford's Morgan O'Connor) who stars in it? And MOST important, is it just me or does he look EXACTLY like Jimmy Fallon's lovable webcast-hosting "Jarret's Room" character?

This year at NYFW the clothes seemed to take a backseat to nearly everything else. Not that there wasn’t anything interesting being shown on the runway—there was just a lot going on: the polar vortex, the longer-than-ever trek from show to show, the Instagram bait sets at Marc Jacobs, where a layer of gray clouds canopied the audience, and Opening Ceremony, where Belgium chocolate dripped from the walls in sync with L-VIS 1990’s live soundtrack. Yet the biggest non-sartorial talking point was the models who wore them. Designers put more energy than ever into casting this year, which made for a lot more surprises throughout the week.

KENDALL JENNER AT MARC JACOBS

Kendall Jenner

Marc Jacobs has an eye for budding young stars. He helped put Miley Cyrus on the fashion industry’s radar early last year when he sat her front row at his Fall '13 show, dressed in a head-to-toe look from the then-current season, and recently tapped her for his Spring ads. So the designer’s decision to cast Kendall Jenner must mean that he sees potential in the reality TV star-turned-model. Not to mention the surprise of seeing her with bleached brows, a sleek bob, and in a sheer top. PR gold.

DKNY

Jourdan Dunn, Cara Delevigne, Eliza Cummings, and A$AP Rocky for DKNY.
Photo: DKNY's YouTube Page

With all of the brands that A$AP Rocky name drops in “Fashion Killa”—all 27, to be exact—it’s pretty crazy that it took this long for one of them to tap the song as a promotional soundtrack. Fittingly, DKNY, who already released a print campaign featuring A$AP, is the first. In the video for DKNY’s Spring/Summer 2014 campaign, perrrfectly timed for the Super Bowl this Sunday, master funny face-maker Cara Delevigne tosses a football around Times Square with fellow models Jourdan Dunn and Eliza Cummings while they’re all wearing sporty logo-emblazoned gear by the brand. Rocky is tossed the ball only once. Ladies, look to Rocky: He's open, he's open! Football has never looked so fun. Seriously though, when’s the last time you saw someone crack a smile while throwing around a football? When’s the last time you saw someone spike a football while standing on a taxi? #CaraDelevingnesTouchdownFace

Back in November, we were gifted a single shot from Sky Ferreira's campaign for Maison Kitsune. Grungy and glamorous, Ferreira almost made us think that we too could wake up in our winged eyeliner looking just as low-maintenance luxe. Almost. Then we tried it and were horrified by the drippy-eyed monsters we saw in the mirror. Thankfully, Kitsune FINALLY released some new pics for their Spring/Summer 2014 collection, and we're, like, 90% sure we can actually pull off some of these other NYC-based shots ourselves. (Given the right Instagram filter, a tiny dose of Photoshop, and every single amazing piece from the brand's "New Wave" line, that is.)

By now you've probably heard what is arguably the greatest news of 2014 (AFTER Miley Cyrus: MTV Unplugged, of course *hair flip*)—Tyra Banks' confirmation of a Life-Size sequel! The 2000 made-for-TV movie tells the story of a girl named Casey (played by Lindsay Lohan) bringing her Eve doll (played by Tyra, obvi) to life and learning valuable lessons about humanity and makeovers.

We're excited about the reboot for a million reasons (e.g. getting a continuation of the greatest plotline ever, experiencing more of Tyra's award-worthy acting, etc.), but we're the MOST pumped about seeing if the sequel's costumes will be anywhere near the caliber of the original's. Life-Size brought us some truly stunning outfits that encapsulate the heartbeat of early-aughts style with a little (OK, a LOT) of Barbie flair. It's impossible to pick which of Tyra's fashion moments are the most memorable, so instead, we've itemized every single one of her outfits from the movie and ranked them from meh to BEST:

15. PRETTY IN PINK

Yea yea yea, Eve can rock a hot pink ball gown with a floral bustle better than anyone else, but, as you'll see, she can do a lot better. Plus, the whole ~pretty pink princess~ thing is a little played out. Zzzzzz.

14. CONFUSING '70S VIBES

It's not offensive from the waist up, and we wouldn't go so far as to say we hate those plastic yellow hoops, but something about the styling here is just...off. Also, white bell-bottoms do favors for NO ONE.

Erykah Badu

Erykah Badu is the face of Givenchy's spring 2014 campaign.

Givenchy is continuing its streak of casting famous faces in its campaigns, and for spring 2014, the label has tapped legendary singer-songwriter Erykah Badu! Style.com got an exclusive look at the images and chatted with Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci about his decision to cast the singer, who, he says, "is one of the most stylish women [he's] met in [his] life."

Tisci said that he had Erykah on his mind when designing the 2014 spring collection, which will feature a combination of African and Japanese influences. The black-and-white campaign image, shot by Mert & Marcus, features a short-haired Badu in what is essentially a poncho with the shoulders cut out. The beguiling top has no sleeves and no obvious collar, but instead hangs from two thick straps around her neck. On the runway, the bright graphic on the front looks like it's made of sequins, but in the ad, it's completely muted, giving the piece an entirely different feel.

gisele-bundchen-daft-punk

Gisele and Daft Punk for 'The Wall Street Journal' Magazine.
Photo: Wall Street Journal/Terry Richardson

Aww SNAP! Karlie, take your earrings off and put your dukes up, girl. Gisele just popped up on the cover of the Wall Street Journal magazine with BOTH of your men. Oh, you didn’t know Karlie Kloss was in a thruple with Daft Punk? JK, she’s not. But she did appear in an oddly similar editorial spread with the helmet-clad electronic duo for Vogue in July. Those two are gettin’ lucky, indeed.

For the November cover of the Wall Street Journal magazine (which was shot by Terry Richardson), Daft Punk got handsy with Gisele Bündchen, wearing what looks to be the ~exact~ same helmets they wore in Vogue. Hmm. *strokes imaginary beard* But hey, at least they took their suit game in a totally different direction with some SUPER shiny sequined blazers and slim-line tuxedo pants. Oh, wait. Turns out that while their suits may appear to be from another planet entirely, Saint Laurent actually dressed Daft Punk for *both* editorial spreads. WHATEVER. Maybe they're just particular! Besides, they’re musicians, not models!

Gisele strikes a power pose on her WSJ cover in a navy, plunging, semi-sheer Atelier Versace jumpsuit and surprisingly, doesn't seem to have a problem with how close that one gold guy's hand is to her, um, ladyplace. (*Insert another "Get Lucky" joke here.*)
