It's beginning to look a lot like fall. At New York Fall 2011 Fashion Week. Not in real life. Thank goodness! Designers, including Oscar de la Renta, Proenza Schouler, Marchesa, Anna Sui, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Michael Kors infused their lines with autumnal colors, luxe fabrics, and pretty patterns. Here are our most recent favorite looks. Which ones do you love?

OSCAR DE LA RENTA: Oscar de la Renta mixed textures for his fall line that included a red fox fur skirt, a glorious navy column dress, and head-to-toe dark turquoise ensembles.

PROENZA SCHOULER: The designers behind Proenza Schouler went print crazy for its Fall 2011 presentation, teaming tribal and art-deco inspired prints, with a non-assuming color palette of blue, green and orange hues.

ANNA SUI: This collection was full of flirty bohemian inspired dresses, tights, and toppers. And in a Fashion Week full of serious runway models, it was refreshing to see Anna Sui's girls smirking as they stomped down the catwalk.

MARCHESA: Marchesa's line was chock-full of romantic and whimsical fairy-tale dresses. The palette was a mix of bold reds and blacks with neutrals sprinkled in. And lace and tulle were the fabrics of choice—everything fit for a princess.

3.1 PHILIP LIM: Mostly menswear-inspired, 3.1 Philip Lim's collection was full of different textures and oversize pieces. The mix looked cool paired with models' slicked hair and river green eye shadow.

MICHAEL KORS: Flowing silhouettes, rich-looking outwear and mostly neutral hues dominated Michael Kors' fall collection, which also included wide cuff necklaces and chic bags.

Obviously, these aren't the clothes you'd wear to the family reunion (or any reunion for that matter). But, The Blonds Fall 2011 Fashion Show is worth noting because it was freakin' awesome! Wearable? No. Awesome. YESSS! For starters, the design duo (Phillipe Blond and David Blond), who are faves of Nicki Minaj, opened the show with Chinese dragon dancers. And then, all of this happened...

TOP LOOKS: Jewel-encrusted corsets broke with colorful, draped fringe of various lengths in these glamorous red-carpet ready gowns.

MOST OUTRAGEOUS: A dragon head gave way to a black and white geisha ensemble, which gave way to a gilded disco ball ensemble that made us want to get up and groove.

WILD BEAUTY: Glittering Cleopatra-style afro wigs were worn with crazy nail looks (think: crystal dipped tips and gold talon rings). Meanwhile, eyelids were painted pink, and lips were red.

CELEBRITIES (HEART) THE BLONDS: Singer Keri Hilson (in a crystal-encrusted bustier top, miniskirt, and leather hat) and rapper Eve (in a strapless black cocktail dress with a spiky gold midriff) sat front and center.

After seeing the teddy bear Adidas sneakers that Lil Wayne wore a while back, we knew that the Jeremy Scott Fall 2011 Fashion Show held yesterday in New York City would be like candy. Thanks to the designer's childlike view on fashion (COLORS! PONYTAILS!), and the star power that came out to see the spectacle, we couldn't get enough. Kind of like Tootsie Roll Pops—we could gnaw on them all day long!

RUNWAY: In addition to celebrating the superhero with cheeky graphics and capes, Scott's collection was full of retro '80s prints, '90s sparkle, and tons of see-through plastic fabric.

BACKSTAGE: The models wore ponytails and hair bows, plus wild peacock color eye shadow and glitter nails.

FRONT ROW: Keri Hilson in some cute red shades, Kanye West in head-to-toe leather, and Vanessa Hudgens rocking a faux bob, were all seated on the ground floor...taking notes and bobbing their heads to Jeremy Scott's runway playlist.

Lincoln Center in New York City was a bustling hub yesterday during New York Fall 2011 Fashion Week, where some of our fave designers (Tibi, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Hervé Léger, Rodarte, Vera Wang, and Badgley Mischka) were showing off their wares.

BADGLEY MISCHKA: All-out glamour was the name of the game at Badgley Mischka, where models (with 1950s style rolled hair) stepped out in crystal-studded tops, red carpet-worthy gowns and opulent knits.

VERA WANG: For us, Vera Wang's Fall 2011 collection read ballerina-meets-punk rock, and we loved every bit of it. The fashion-forward line included tons of pleated chiffon dresses of the floaty and fur-trimmed anoraks, which were teamed with a rugged/futuristic makeup look.

TIBI: While Tibi's fall collection may have been minimalistic with a slight industrial feel, it was still completely girly. Just check out the ruffles, sheer shoulders, and short-short sillhouettes!

MARC BY MARC JACOBS: With a runway done up to look like a school gymnasium, Mr. Jacob's Fall 2011 fashion show seemed to be an ode to his high school days in the late '70s and early '80s (not to date him, or anything!). Models stomped down the runway in adorable print dresses, blazers, short-shorts, and metallic skirts. Too cute for school!

HERVÉ LÉGER BY MAX AZRIA: Hervé Léger by Maz Azria amped up the iconic bandage dress for Fall with slick silver and gold hardware, giving the supersexy shifts a tough-girl edge.

RODARTE: Often, Rodarte's threads only work if you're in a magazine spread, walking the runway, or in a movie called Black Swan. But the design duo's fall collection, full of long dresses, lace and linen blouses, and funky patterned shifts, is completely wearable. P.S. We also adore the side twist hairstyle the models wore.

New York Fall Fashion Week heated up yesterday with top designers hitting Lincoln Center to show off their collections. Impressed is an understatement.

DIANE VON FURSTENBERG: At her Fall 2011 fashion show, Diane von Furstenberg proved that a red pout works well with everything from furs and liquid sequins to polka dots and round sunglasses— and on any skin tone. Smooches!

VICTORIA BECKHAM: Even though Victoria Beckham's designs for Fall 2011 were completely buttoned up (many of the dresses completely covered the models necks, and models tucked their hair into black swim cap-style hats), there was a sense of sexy confidence throughout the collection. And the bags that some models toted? AMAZING!!

ALEXANDER WANG: Alexander Wang played with the menswear-inspired trend for his Fall 2011 collection, which was full of dark fur collars, ponchos, cigarette pants, and loads of leather. One of his most interesting accessories were his fur-lined sunglasses (kind of perfect for cold weather, right?).

Tired of the same ol' same hairstyle? We found some serious hair inspiration yesterday at several New York Fashion Week shows. Granted, you may not want to braid a scarf into your hair or spray paint your strands silver, but these wild manes are sure to get your creative juices flowing.

CRAFTY BUNS AT THAKOON: At Thakoon, strips of knit fabric were twisted through models' hair into funky french rolls.

FRIZZY FAUX HAWKS AT BENSONI: Bensoni teamed thigh high boots on feet with pompadoured messy braided faux hawks. To emphasize the edginess of the style, some models had the sides spray painted silver.

PIN-UP GIRL WAVES AT LELA ROSE: Lela Rose models wore Old Hollywood finger waves in the front and a modern ponytail in the back.

With roughly 28 shows crammed into two days, the busiest time during New York Fall 2011 Fashion Week could quite possibly be the weekend. Yep, there was a lot of style fabulousness going on. Check out our fave lineups below and let us know if you agree.

JILL STUART: A lot, but not all, of the Fall 2011 fashion shows over the weekend featured dark threads. There was a color explosion at Jill Stuart's collection presentation, which was full of animal print dresses, faux fur, and color-blocked frocks.

PRABAL GURUNG: Red carpet-fave Prabal Gurung brought the whimsy to Fashion Week with his Fall 2011 collection, which was jammed with below-the-knee, belted cocktail dresses in regal hues like black, red and gray. To give the Great Expectations-inspired shifts edge, Gurung teamed them with funky-patterned tights and slick leather gloves with wrist ties.

DEREK LAM: It was fun to see Derek Lam’s collection on the runway, but more than anything we wanted to touch each and every piece. Plush furs, soft shearlings, and trendy wools dominated the designer's Fall 2011 line of coats, vests, and blazers. Comfy cozy.

This weekend we saw a slew of braids on New York Fashion Week runways. But not just any old Little House on the Prairie braids. These were braids with a serious twist! At Charlotte Ronson, models' hair was slicked to one side with a few tiny plaits peeking out from underneath. Meanwhile, the models at Erin Fetherston and Band of Outsiders wore chunky braids--Erin Fetherston's were wrapped crown-style around their heads, and Band of Outsiders were pulled to one shoulder.

New York Fall 2011 Fashion Week is in full swing (yay!), and we're hitting the tents and following the live streams to bring you chic runway looks, hot hair trends, and easy-breezy front row looks.

FASHION SHOW: JASON WU

• Menswear goes girly at Jason Wu's Fall 2011 fashion show with fitted trousers, lacy sweaters, and bow-tied tops.

• We can totally see First Lady Michelle Obama, who is already a fan of the designer, rocking the third outfit (polka dot blouse and gray pencil skirt) in this runway line.

• P.S. We've seen a handful of slicked-down ponytails for Fall 2011. Take note.

RUNWAY BEAUTY: REBECCA TAYLOR

• Hope you still have your hair crimper from middle school, because you might need it this fall! At Rebecca Taylor's fashion show models smoothed down the top portion of their hair, and crimped the bottom half.

• Ohhhh, pretty! Red lips and gilded shadow is a match made in makeup heaven.

• Below the neck, Rebecca Taylor's fall collection was full of '70s Parisian-style tunics, dresses, and trousers.

FRONT ROW CELEB: MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG AT REBECCA MINKOFF

• At the Rebecca Minkoff show actress (and March 2011 Maxim cover model) Michelle Trachtenberg looked unfussy-eclectic in a simple crewneck sweater, over-the-knee boots and a long statement necklace.

New York Fall 2011 Fashion Week is in full swing (yay!), and we're hitting the tents and following the live streams to bring you the hottest trends, neat backstage beauty finds and the best-dressed front-rowers.

FASHION SHOW: MARA HOFFMAN

• Hippy-dippy accessories (turbans, John Lennon shades, etc.) gave Mara Hoffman's fall collection a serious bohemian vibe.

• Our personal fave is this slouchy, wrap sweater dress. Cute, right?

• Hard to see, but worth mentioning: to go along with the dark color palette, the models fingertips were dipped in black dye. Weird, but cool.

• Check out caftans, knits, and other cool looks from the collection here.

BACKSTAGE BEAUTY: EYE GLITTER AT VENA CAVA

• The mantra, "a little goes a long way," did not apply at Vena Cava's fall runway show, where makeup artists covered models' lids and bottom lash lines with LOADS of multi-colored glitter.

• Sparkly makeup can quickly and easily go all wrong (hence, the models steady tilted head and hair clips). But Vena Cava teamed the princess-grunge makeup look with leather toppers, suede jackets, and platforms, making it SO right.

Bryan Boy at the Rachel Comey Fall 2011 show on Feb. 10.

FRONT ROW CELEB: BRYANBOY AT RACHEL COMEY

• Fashion blogger Bryanboy arrived at the Rachel Comey fashion show in black leggings, a fuzzy-collared fur coat (tons of attendees have been rocking fur, by the way), a gray striped tee, and 3-D-style sunglasses. But the crowning jewel of his ensemble was his curly fro wig.
