HOLLLLYYY SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS. Men. Lots of them. Shirtless. Coming DIRECTLY toward us. While we'd normally avoid mobs of 20+ ripped dudes at all costs, we literally cannot move. Like, we can't stop staring at their Ken Doll lines. Er, Brad Pitt in Fight Club lines. Er, muscle-y hip lines. WHAT ARE THEY CALLED? We need to lock down a name for this IMMEDIATELY because it's quite possibly the hottest. Thing. Ever. How does it happen? HOW DO THE HIPS GET SO RIPPED LIKE THAT? Also, why do we feel sooo naughty staring at them? It's like a big arrow pointing down to their, erm, manly bits. Too much? NEVARRRR.

Tyra Banks and André Leon Talley have teamed up to make a series of 'Fa-Fa-Fa-Fashion' vids for Tyra's new fashion website/community typeF. The duo picks a topic that real people can relate to like skinny jeans or little black dresses or trench coats or whatever (you know Tyra, she likes to keep it real) and runs absolutely bananaswild with it for five minutes. ALT stations himself in a metal chair and really grounds the whole endeavor with a wealth of historical context (in this one he talks about the Victorian bustline and the Edwardian uni-boob), and Tyra sits on his lap, hamming it up to his every word.
In this installment about "Shapewear" (basically corsets and spanx and prosthesis-looking binding crap that goes from your knees all the way up to your boobs) there is a point where Ms. T is wearing nothing but flesh-colored (like, anglo "flesh-colored") support underwear and walking around like a mummy to indicate how binding all of it is. Obviously the best and only way to illustrate this point...
Solange Knowles, Cassie, and Selita Ebanks at the Carol's Daughter Spokesbeauty & Monoi Repairing Collection Launch at Sephora in New York on May 24. Photo: Getty Images
We stopped by Sephora last night to celebrate the announcement of the new Carol's Daughter spokesbeauties (yep, that's what they're ACTUALLY called) Solange, Cassie, and Selita Ebanks. And first off, whoa. These ladies are so unbelievably FLAWLESS up close, it's insulting to the rest of us who have to walk around planet Earth not being any of them. Singer (and Beyoncé's little sis) Solange oozed confidence with her fresh face and dapper vintage pale yellow suit. Model/Kanye Westmusic video superstar Selita Ebanks' gravity-defying cheek bones practically left us speechless and her "exotic Barbie" (her words, not ours) look was cute to boot. Singer Cassie KILLED IT with dramatic eye makeup, a perfect pomp, and body-hugging nude dress, so we caught up with all three to ransack their beauty secrets...

Ultra-dyed denim is hardly new, and we all know there's nothing like a pop of color in those weeks between spring and summer when the nights are a tad nipply and you didn't necessarily intend to stay out for 22 hours after you left your house yesterday morning. But, well, heck if you don't finally deserve a bit of fun and excitement after a hard, bitter winter, so everyone stop passing judgment that you're still wearing the same clothes. At least your clothes are cute.
See, the thing about colored jeans is you can definitely overthink them. Will you get enough mileage out of green jeans? Red seems to be the safer bet, especially these skinny J Brands, but oooooh, is red played out blablablablabalbala? STOP. Look it, if Hayden, Eve and Alessandra are evidence, ANYONE can wear them ANYPLACE. Think of the vastly differing physiques/personal styles/events we've got going on in these pictures. These three ladies run the gamut, and all look very, very fetch. The thing that you have to realize is that a) It's spring, and the entire world is way too egocentric about their own wardrobes to give a pshaw about what you're wearing and b) It's spring, and you should ONLY concentrate on having as much sunshiny fun as humanly possible. You can wear ANY color, and you can wear them on multiple days a week. Get 'em a little dirty. Wear them with heels. Or flats. Or clashing colors. Or NEON color blocks. Nighttime. Daytime. Early morning after a little "nighttime." Do whatever. Yes, this IS a PSA. Now go play outside. Responsibly. With sunblock. Maybe a big hat. OH! And last, of course you have free reign on complementary articles of clothing, but we would definitely advise AGAINST wearing the same colored denim jacket. Unless you can pull it off on a suiting tip because you have an impossible body with buttloads of charisma. In that case, carry on and send us a photo.

First Sammi starts looking like Kim Kardashian, and now Snooki's taking on a new look? Our favorite guidette posted a pic of herself surrounded by four HEAVILY MUSCLED men who were also glistening (deathly important style detail!). The Snookster was specifically glamour-shot ready for this photo shoot that was held to benefit the Ali Forney Center, a not-for-profit that helps get homeless LGBT youth off the streets and integrated back into society. The spirals of glossy curls, her exquisitely executed smoky eyes...everything about this made us do a double take and wonder whether this really is the same girl who asks, "Is my kooka showing?"
Sammi and Deena were in on the action and went with very old-Hollywood glam looks too, with flowing curls and gorgeous doe eyes.
BONUS: Not to leave you without a yoked up male model yourself: Grab the tee, which is designed by celebrity photographer Mike Ruiz and features a bare-chested hunk showing it all off. Profits support the Ali Forney Center! Sammi's tee, Deena's tee, and more can be found here.
Olivia Palermo at a photo shoot in New York on March 8. Photo: Getty Images
Oh swooooooooonsies. Doesn't Olivia Palermo look gorgeous here? Maybe it's the hair or the lush lashes or the flack jacket or just the all around breezy ease but there's something oh so Jackie O. about this windswept look. Plus, and we are slightly stunned about how viscerally we're hit by this, we maybe desperately want some bell-bottoms? Perhaps it's jeggings fatigue (likely it is because they're comfortable but way-too-everywhere), but give us some throwback trousers. Remember waistbands and structured crotches (#retro)? Blessedly, the runways are super promising for some trickle-down, price-point goodness later this year.

We love that we don't have to trudge into work in somber, wool crepe suits like the rest of corporate America, but we have to admit to a little fancy-pants envy at what's going on here with Mila Kunis. Wowowowowowow, I guess this shawl-collared, solo-button, monochromatic affair is an homage to the dapper dudes of the "Fun Fearless Males" event that she attended, but in honor of International Women's Day (which is apparently today, and 100 years strong [suck it, dudes.]), here's a slew of ladies in ridiculously slick suiting (with some hella strong shoulders) from Paris Fashion Week. Get it!

Lady Gaga at the Thierry Mugler Spring/Summer 2012 show on March 2 in Paris. Photo: Getty Images
For a woman who sings, dances, makes wombs/eggs/pods an outfit, and crafts her signature fragrance to smell like blood, why wouldn't she ALSO try her hand at modeling? It was only a matter of time before Lady Gaga would find herself strutting down the Mugler runway—she'd already been tapped as the brand's musical director, tasked with creating fashion show tunes for creative director Nicola Formichetti. So, yes, we knew it was coming. But what surprised us was how professional the pop star's strut was (even in INSANELY high platform heels).

In addition to two hip-length ponytails, and the stilt shoes (seriously, they look like they were a foot high...GAH!), Lady G wore two looks: a sheer condom-colored top over a ribbed corset with a long fitted skirt and wide hat; and a sheer black top over a bra with a long latex skirt and flat cap.
Oh, and don't ask us about the other models and their looks. Gaga stole the show AGAIN.

NO WONDER 14-year-old actress Hailee Steinfeld always looks so poised and polished on the red carpet. Pre-True Grit and Oscar nomination(!!!), the young star had quite a bit of practice in front of the cameras. In 2007, the then 10-year-old modeled hoodies, denim, and outerwear for a Guess Kids ad campaign, and she looked so darn cute doing it. It makes us wonder if all that time spent trying on clothes as a child also helped fine-tune the RIDIC style sense she has now.
