For our 2013 Movie Awards red carpet wrap-up, me and the indomitable Karlie Kloss froze our frickin’ faceholes off in the unseasonably brisk Los Angeles climate as we chatted about the hottest fashion moments. We’re pretty much in cahoots about who we liked best. We loved Chloe Moretz’s Louis Vuitton denim dress and Karlie’s runaway favorite was Zoe Saldana’s floral, embroidered Givenchy dress with a dramatic thigh slit. Karlie and I also adored Les Miz’s Eddie Redmayne in his distressed leather moto jacket as well as Selena Gomez’s gold Julien Macdonald that featured strands of delicate beads.

The guys went high-low. Danny McBride wore a lightweight RVKA jacket and dad jeans (LET US HELP YOU DANNY, WE LOVE YOU), Seth Rogen rocked up in a cardigan and denim but Zachary Quinto pulled out all the stops in his sublime DSquared suit that fit like a damned dream. As a total aside, shooting something on-camera after you’ve liveblogged the entire red carpet procession can be nerve-wracking. You never feel prepared and in this case I felt hella windblown and I was sad that the crop of the frame seemed so focused on the unflattering squidginess of my upper arm. But then I remembered: If you just use your hand to cover Karlie for just a second second and look back at yourself, you 100% reappear as a normal person and not a disfigured knot of monster. Anyway, check out this video. We hope you had as much fun as we did ogling all the goings on the step-and-repeat. Not pictured: Karlie and I shimmying into our hoodies and parkas the nanosecond the carpets stopped rolling. Brrrr!

EMMA WATSON IN MAXIME SIMOENS

Well, it should come as a surprise to absolutely nobody that Trailblazer Award recipient Emma Watson looked, well, like every bit the Trailblazer tonight in her Maxime Simoens dress. We're hate saying "we called it!" but this time we totally called it, since the short printed frock was essentially a combination of her signature looks (and exactly what we predicted she'd wear). In essence, think mini, think patterns, think a new twist on the classic with bold graphics and key cutouts. Emma's come a FAR way from her frizzy-headed Hermione days, that's for sure.

KARLIE KLOSS IN CUSHNIE ET OCHS

We know what you're thinking: yes, Karlie's a model and yes, it's her profession to look good. But STILL, you guys! There's no denying that our Pre-Show Correspondent deserves some prime real estate on this Best Dressed list, given her amazing Cushnie et Ochs two-piece ensemble. Courtesy of the emerging New York label's Spring 2013 collection, the all-white number is sleek, modern, and chic without being the least bit boring. As Karlie and fellow crop top and pencil skirt lovers like Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus already know, THIS right here is a winning combination.

CHLOE MORETZ IN LOUIS VUITTON

We can always count on our girl Chloe Moretz to keep things fresh at award shows, and she didn't disappoint tonight one bit. The adorable starlet looked to ANOTHER famous face for outfit inspiration— Rihanna!— and opted for a Louis Vuitton denim dress layered over a Topshop blouse. RiRi would definitely approve, don't you think?!

HOLLAND RODEN IN DONNA KARAN

We've already spent tons of time unpacking each and every part of Holland Roden's red carpet look, and obviously, for good reason! The MTV.com Red Carpet Report Host kept things classically glamorous in a black dress by Donna Karan with cut-out mesh detailing on the skirt...and a daring plunging v-neck. Add this to her ultra-sleek straight hair and a liquid liner cat eye? Va va voom!

HAYLEY WILLIAMS IN ZARA AND TOPSHOP

Whereas many of the ladies tonight stuck with tried-and-true dresses, Paramore's Hayley Williams threw a major curveball with her black cut-out jumpsuit. Her rad outfit choice is pretty freaking daring in itself, but what's ever cooler is that the singer nabbed the pieces from Zara and Topshop! Proof that even famous musicians shop fast fashion, you guys. Unfortunately the onesie is sold out online (wah wah), but hey, there's always eBay?!

MACKLEMORE IN LOGAN NEITZEL

There are just no two ways about it. Macklemoreis devastatingly fly. Stunting in head-to-toe cobalt, Seattle's finest popped against the red carpet in a satin-finish suit, a crisp black tailored shirt, leather tie, tasseled loafers, and of course, that gold-fringed Logan Neitzel cape with its opulent printed lining. A cross between a blue matador and a band leader, this outfit was strikingly regal without being stuffy or staid.

VINNY GUADAGNINO

There are two major reasons we're extremely proud of Jersey Shore alumn Vinny Guadagnino after tonight's Movie Awards. The first is the fact that dude just launched a sneak peek of his forthcoming talk show, The Show with Vinny, wherein he brings guests over to his family's Staten Island home for dinner and interviews. The second is his excellent red carpet ensemble. Clad in a cross-hatched heather gray suit, giant plaid grayscale button-up, and the cleanest little black bow tie, Vinny was as dapper as we've EVER seen him.

CRYSTAL REED IN NHA KHANH

The Teen Wolf ladies really turned it out for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. Where Holland employed edgy black, a plunging neckline, and austere lines, Crystal Reed goes for a soft, feminine look with a lacy, coral Nha Khanh dress with a full tulle skirt. Sweet!

AMANDA SEYFRIED IN THREE FLOOR

Amanda Seyfried may not have walked the carpet, but that didn't keep us from falling head over heels for her MTV Movie Awards ensemble. The Les Mis actress presented the award for Best Kiss alongside Steve Carell while wearing this lovely Three Floor dress. With her hair simple, straight, and softly framing her face and her makeup light and natural, the long-sleeved mini was able to make the biggest splash for itself, the focal point of the outfit.

SELENA GOMEZ IN JULIEN MACDONALD

For her major return to music, Selena Gomez went for a significant change of sartorial pace with his metallic Julien Macdonald minidress. Strategically embellished with gilded lace and raining with teeny tiny gold chains, we like that this look was eye-catching without being gaudy or tacky. We especially like the thick, mutant French braid situation she's working with her hair.
