Lauren Conrad's 4 Simple Steps To A Half-Moon Manicure

Not to toot our own horn here, but we've been mega fans of the half-moon manicure for a while now, so when we saw that Hillsie Lauren Conrad posted a tutorial on how to get the look, we fuh-reaked out. She opted for a midnight blue nail with a silvery moon (eerily similar color combo to our blue moon mani. JUST SAYIN'. Lauren, if you read our blog we send a bajillion hugs your way). LC is somewhat of a nail MASTA—she's always switching up her tips. Her nail art has ranged from straight up ombre to mix-and-match prints, and we love all of Lauren's nail looks—this included! To start, you're going to need silver or metallic glitter polish, navy polish, 10 reinforcement binder stickers (you might remember these things from your school supplies list), and clear polish.

It's no secret that Vinny Guadagnino is the resident King of Graphic Tees amongst the cast members of Jersey Shore. And tonight's episode was no exception. But Vinny reigns champion tonight, not merely due to his extensive crew-neck collection or the aplomb with which he wields it, but ALSO because he is a benevolent roommate with a kind and well-discerning heart—crowned by Ronnie this episode as a kind of "Dr. Phil" of the house for all the sage wisdom he doles out to the rest of the dudes.

'The News According To Snooki' Is Full Of Style

Did you know that Snooki has always wanted to be an anchorwoman? Well, thanks to Cambio, the little meatball's dream came true! Kind of. For "The News According to Snooki," she was set up with her very own world map and note cards (all hot pink, of course) to deliver the latest news. But, as we all know, Snooki can't have a hand at anything without making it totally her own (see her desktop for example, displaying a jar of pickles plus hair spray and lipgloss for emergency touch-ups), and for this fashion-mogul-in-the-making, that ensures style will be a hot topic no matter what.

First Look: Whitney Port's Whitney Eve Fall 2011 Lookbook

The wait is OVER! Whitney Port has just released her Fall 2011 Lookbook for Whitney Eve, which meanssss the collection will start hitting boutiques right about NOW. Which, of course, means that we'll be able to get a piece of the line ourselves pretty soon! For now, we're content to whet our appetites with the urban boho lookbook and memories of the African-inspired line's runway show back in March while we keep a watchful eye on our local racks. The unexpected color combinations, jewel and earth tones, tribal geometrics, and adventurous silhouettes are all perfect mix-and-match separates for back to school or whatever you're heading back to this fall (Work? Home? The grocery store? Chances are good you've probably changed geographic coordinates at some point and have to return SOMEWHERE eventually, right??). Personally, we're WAY into the printed vest and that gorgeous knotted olive maxi skirt. Peep the rest of the lookbook after the jump!

Just a couple weeks ago, Hillsie Lauren Conrad released her entire Fall 2011 LC Lauren Conrad collection for Kohl's, and THIS week we found videos of her dishing on her favorite outfit from the line, fall wardrobe tips, and what inspired her collection. Not only does Lauren look absolutely adorbs while talking about her top looks, but um, she chose super indie band The Drums as her soundtrack! (Cue the Weird Vibes creators doing a slow clap.) The best part about these videos though is that you can buy the products from her line AS she's talking about them! WHHOOAA. Technology is SUH-WEET. Let's see what LC had to say!

Snooki Talks Perfume, Slippers, And Sunglasses On 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno'

It's clearer than ever that our girl Snooki is most def catalyzing her very own "style revolution," building herself into a Jersey Shore mogul with quite literally a FLEET of Snooki-branded products and literature. Like any good hands-on businesswoman, she's taking to the streets (and by "streets," we actually mean "network television") to promote her work, hooking people up with Snooki swag all along the way. During last night's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno appearance, she discussed the upcoming fall release of her fragrance. Though no name or actual scent notes were revealed, she DID drop that it definitely won't smell like pickles—not that she didn't already try out the idea.

Hey now. How did we almost miss this? Didn't we just see Snooki on Sunday at the VMAs? I know Beyoncé announced the impending arrival of Destiny's child (yes, I HAD TO go there, OK?!??), but we ALWAYS have our eagle eye on the cast of Jersey Shore's every style step! How could an alteration so major as the resurrection of her BANGS escape us?! Praise be for Twitter and TwitPics, else we might have gone even more days (or worse, WEEKS) without realizing!

Jersey Shore Cast's VMA Style Matches; But What Was The Situation Wearing?

The cast of the Jersey Shore arrived (whew!) at the VMAs in the wake of hurricanes both literal and metaphorical. They were—as always—tanned and buffed despite the otherwise cloudy skies that have been dominating their native New Jersey environs, and they stepped up the WOWW (sorry, had to) fashion factor in a captivating array of sparkles, animal prints, and dark 'n' brooding suits. But were the boys tipping their nonexistent hats toward their rain-soaked summer home with this somber choice? Or were they stormy due to a different "situation"?

Hurricane Is No Match For The 'Jersey Shore' Cast; Can't Wait To See Their VMA Outfits (And Hair!)

The winds are still whipping and the rain is still falling, but for the most part, the tumultuous Hurricane Irene is finally making her East Coast exit (though not without leaving a considerable amount of destruction in her wake). While she was certainly devastating, the speedy collective preemptive measures taken ensured just about as safe a weathering of this storm as possible. One of Irene's hardest hit victims was now-infamous Seaside Heights, summer home to the cast of Jersey Shore. The always-positive Pauly D declared, "Irene got nothing on my blowout," with a chuckle before acknowledging the storm's serious risks, "I was nervous. This storm's no joke." Though, if there was ANY tonsorial structure built to withstand a natural disaster, his 'do would probably be it.

The Situation Does Day-To-Night Blazers 'Jersey Shore'-Style

We know you're still getting over the emotional tilt-a-whirl catharsis that was last night's episode of Jersey Shore. You're probably deeply concerned about our boy Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino—both because of his provocation of Ronnie and [SPOILER ALERT if you're not caught up yet!!!] that closing shot of him being carried away on a stretcher and in a neck restraint. BUT FEAR NOT! Just take a quick little glance at the side-by-side above and let out a deep sigh of relief. Sitch was photographed yesterday looking suave as ever, rocking TWO blazered ensembles in one day!
