If you're not familiar with the faces below quite yet, you better hurry up and hop on board the Little Mix train, STAT. These former X Factor UK contestants-turned-girl group are already bonafide pop stars overseas (32 million YouTube hits, NBD), and now they're on the fast track to conquering the U.S. music scene with their debut single "Wings." The addictive R&B-inflected dance track officially dropped last year, but as of today those of us stateside can finally buy the song for ourselves. And with an equally awesome video, we can't really think of a better way to give Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall a true American welcome than to break down all of the rad outfits the girls wore in "Wings". So what are we waiting for?! Let's do this!

The vid kicks off with up-close-and-personal shots of each of the girls— in other words, the perfect band intro AND a foreshadow of the individual looks to come. From Leigh-Anne's red lips to Jade's major lashes, it's clear the beauty inspiration is just beginning.

Welp, looks like Justin Timberlake got us again. In the wee hours of this Thursday morning, JT dropped the full version of his "Suit & Tie" lyric video not even a full day after taunting us with this delicious teaser. We were surprised as it was to see Timberlake actually starring in the lyric video (clad in swoon-worthy Tom Ford BTW), but the full version is way exceeding our expectations. While there's no Jay-Z cameo (and accordingly, JT would be right to save that for the official music video) nor is there a fitting room montage à la The Sweetest Thing, there are a HEFTY number of outfit changes. Thus, we're breaking this bad boy down look by look — our first lyric video!

BRINGING FEDORAS BACK

DAG NAB IT, JUSTIN. I thought we told you you didn't need fedoras anymore??? We suppose it's part of your signature steez, and it lends to the classic Sinatra/Rat Pack thing you're embodying both with your career and this song in particular, but man... Truthfully, you don't need them. In the same breath, you've definitely done worse, so I guess we'll suck this one up.

Justin Timberlake, Suit and Tie

A still from Justin Timberlake's "Suit and Tie" lyric video.

We like to think of ourselves as a relatively insightful bunch here at MTV Style. Justin Timberlake drops a new single (his first solo dolo project since FutureSex/LoveSounds was released in 2006) called "Suit and Tie", and accordingly, we should expect whatever video comes with it will feature JT in a... *drumrollll* suit and tie! You don't need to be Nate Silver to predict that. And yet, we're STILL just as excited and slack-jawed and barely mustering up enough energy to fan ourselves with both hands to stall system overload from watching this 30-second teaser (JUST THE TEASER) of the "Suit and Tie" lyric video as if we had known nothing at all.

A still from Ke$ha's "C'Mon" video.
Photo: Kemosabe Records

Paging Taylor Swift: you're not the only one giving furry friends a cameo in your music videos these days. Our girl Ke$ha also called out her Animals in the clip for her party anthem "C'Mon" (who are we kidding? EVERY Ke$ha song is a party anthem!) and the result in a total psychedelic trip. And in true form, the singer also undergoes a series of extreme costume changes, from a ho-hum work uniform (at "Awful House"...get it?!) to a glittery, furry, and embellished number topped off with a major 'tude. It might only be Friday morning, but thanks to Ke$ha, we're officially kicking off the weekend NOW. So join the dance party and let's break it ALL down below!

One Direction

Even if One Direction hadn't diligently rolled out teaser after teaser after teaser prepping you to spend the entirety of today waiting for their "Kiss You" music video, we STILL wouldn't have missed it for the world. Just ONE glimpse of the campy silliness (a.k.a. GIF bait) of that is this musical short was enough to have us clearing out our calendars to spend the rest of the afternoon watching Harry, Zayn, Louis, Liam, and Niall embark on their "epic adventure." Also, to recap all the (many MANY) hilarious outfits the dudes rock in the video. That cue means, just as you expected, we're breaking One Direction's "Kiss You" music video look by look. LEGGO!

Girls Generation I got a Boy

A still from Girls' Generation's "I Got A Boy" music video.

Listen, we're already WELL aware that K-Pop group Girls' Generation knows their fashion stuff. This South Korean supergroup (literally- they've got nine members!) hit stateside last year with a splash, making their debut appearance on David Letterman... as well as showing off their SpiritHood steez. Furthermore, they've also made the rounds at international fashion weeks and have almost 10 million fans dissecting each and every one of their style-stocked music videos. No big deal. It's been a minute since the nonet (yes, that's the official name for a 9-piece group) last released their video for "The Boys", so clearly these ladies HAD to make up for lost time with their latest, "I Got A Boy." And did they ever! The band transformed the 5-minute clip into a kaleidoscopic streetwear explosion, working head-to-toe looks and statement pieces alike from Jeremy Scott for adidas, Lazy Oaf, Stussy, and more. The entire thing is a fashion whirlwind SO jam-packed with rad clothes (many of which are available to score yourselves), it's pretty much impossible to watch it just once. Ahem, not that we're complaining...

One Direction

One Direction teases goofy "Kiss You" music video.
Photo: Sony Music Entertainment

As if anyone needed another reason to saddle up on the One Direction boy bandwagon, the Brit-Irish pop group has just released an adorably goofy teaser short for their upcoming "Kiss You" music video. The full-length video is scheduled to drop on Monday, January 7 at a presently unknown time. *feverishly sets alarms and reminders, drafts Out of Office auto-reply, deletes it* Between title slates that paint the video as a "blockbuster" and "one epic adventure," the 30-second preview shows Niall, Liam, Zayn, Harry, and Louis engaging in, in their own words, "pure stupidity" and, like, a bajillion silly costumes.

A$AP Rocky

Uh oh, KanyeA$AP Rocky's creeping on your kilt game! Just this morning the rapper dropped the new video for “LONG.LIVE.A$AP,” the title track off his forthcoming album. And yep, he’s wearing some slick bottoms throughout the clip that are decidedly NOT pants….and we’re not mad about it, either. The kilts are just a few of several outfits A$AP rocks in the majestic black-and-white vid, where he spends much of his time chilling on the throne, golden grin and all. These royal references and creepy castle setting kind of remind us of his King Arthur-themed shoot a while back for Complex, but before we even go there, we’ve GOTTA break down the clothes! So let's do this...

Taylor Swift wears a Bassike t-shirt in "I Knew You Were Trouble."
Photo: Big Machine Records/ via Bassike

If you've seen Taylor Swift's new video for "I Knew You Trouble," then you already know that the pop star wears MANY different outfits throughout the five-minute clip (click here for the complete breakdown). But while the majority of her fashion changeups are quick- blink and you'll miss them- one item in particular stands out the whole way through. OK fine, in ADDITION to her pink wig. We're talking about Tay's black and white t-shirt, which she dons during her monologue in the beginning and again as the music video winds down. Courtesy of Aussie brand Bassike, this simple crewneck comes stamped with a giant black dot in the middle and a raw hem, giving a cool twist to your plain white tee. The only bad news? If you want to cop Taylor's identical top yourself, it'll cost you.

Taylor Swift I Knew You Were Trouble fashion

A still from Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble.' music video.

First things first: we want to wish a HAPPY birthday to Taylor Swift! The pop star is celebrating her big 2-3 today, but she's switching things up by giving all of US a special present instead. Just mere minutes ago the singer finally dropped the video for "I Knew You Were Trouble." upon the internet, and we're 100% not exaggerating when we say we've already hit "replay" approximately 8 times. With a sad 2-minute introductory monologue and nostalgia-laden flashbacks, we're getting maaaajor Rihanna "We Found Love"- meets- Lana Del Rey "Ride" vibes from TSwift's new breakup anthem (not a bad thing!). Reeve Carney stars as her bad boy boyfriend, who transforms her onscreen persona into an entirely different person...from her pink choppy wig all the way down to her edgier-than-usual clothes. We're talking ripped t-shirts, fedoras, and not a single dress in sight! GASP. While you let all that sink in, check out our complete "I Knew You Were Trouble" fashion breakdown below!
