If you're a child of the '90s, cartoons and Nickelodeon went hand-in-hand like Lisa Frank and Trapper Keepers. Not to get all dramatic, but, like, those shows kiiind of shaped who we are today. We couldn't WAIT to plop down in front of the TV to hang out with some of our funny friends (hi, Skeeter from Doug and Chuckie Finster from Rugrats!) and have a GRAND ol' time. Since most our favorite shows are no longer on air (*sniff sniff*), we thought we'd bring 'em back to life the best way we know how--through nail art! We rounded up our fave Nick-inspired manicures, so check 'em out below.
We love this GORGE homage to Angelica, Chuckie and Tommy from Rugrats! Each character was meticulously hand-painted on each finger in the exact same illustration style from the show. Honestly, with all those layers of colors and attention to detail this probably took FOREVS to do, but we think it was totally worth it. *claps*
Whew, New York Fashion Week is officially over, y'all—BUT that doesn't mean we're done dishin' on all the killer fashion and beauty looks we peeped on the runway and backstage! If you've been following us on Instagram (WHICH YOU SHOULD!), you might've been tipped off to all the cool nail art happening this year. From 3D studs to super intricate artwork, the runway certainly wasn't short of models sporting decked-out digits. So, we decided to compile all the best, boldest, and most outrageous nail art from NYFW so you can catch up on all the manis you might've missed. Let's get to it!
MOST LIKELY TO HAVE THE MOST INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS: ASSEMBLY

Assembly New York was all about mixing work and play in their fall 2013 collection, but when we peeped the nails and realized they were Emojis, we basically lost our shiz. Miss Pop created these bright yellow stunners using the oh-so-famous iPhone Japanese icons as inspiration, and we LOVE. IT. *double taps photo*
Nail art from The Blonds fall 2013 New York Fashion Week show.

Earlier this week we dissected The Blonds killer (heh) classic Hollywood horror film-inspired fall 2013 pieces at NYFW (think: fake blood splatters in the form of sequins and dresses doubling as rope-tied victims), but when we looked closer at these frighteningly good ensembles, we noticed the models' nail art game was ridiculously on point—we're talking incredibly iconic slasher flick moments etched onto mini fingernail canvases. Above, you'll see a white on black "Bates Motel" mani from the movie Psycho and the word "REDRUM" (murder backwards!) painted on her nails just like in The Shining. We're gettin' the creeps just looking at it.
Welp, if you got totally wrapped up in the New York Fashion Week/Grammys storm (like us!), you've miiight've forgotten about a lovely little thing called Valentine's Day happening tomorrow. If you have a killer date/girl's night planned and still want into get into the holiday spirit, we've got some super cute last-minute DIY options to get your nail game on POINT before the big day. One of our favorite looks is this blue and white heart mani (above) with a different design on every digit. We love how it's mod-inspired AND isn't in the traditional pink and white color scheme. (Also, if you want to keep it simple, just pick one of these designs and do it on all your fingers!)
Kelly Clarkson at the 2013 Grammys in L.A. on Feb. 10, and her custom Deborah Lippmann nail polish.

Just when you think you've seen EVERYTHING from the 2013 Grammys, we got our hands on even more deets behind some of the best beauty looks of the night. We loved Kelly Clarkson's super shimmery violet, pink, and gold glitter polish, which popped against her tea-length black sweetheart dress. But, as it turns out, it was a custom creation made just for Ms. Clarkson! She Instagrammed a pic of her decked-out nails and said, "The great Deborah Lippmann created a custom nail polish for me today! Should we call it 'Stronger?'" Wait, does this mean she's actually making this nail polish?! YASSS.
Jennifer Lopez at the 2013 Grammy Awards on Feb. 10.

Almost exactly a year ago, Angelina Jolie debuted her infamous right leg at the Oscars and, lucky for us, it's baaaccckk! On the Grammys red carpet, Jennifer Lopez sported a black, one-shoulder Anthony Vaccarello satin gown with a slit up to gosh-knows-where, and we can't stop staring it. (Sorry!) If you can tear your eyes away from her toned thighs, you'll see she accessorized with killer strappy gold and black stilettos, a gold paneled clutch, SERIOUSLY impressive bangles, and diamond stud earrings. For her beauty game, she pulled her hair back into a tight high bun and went for black liner all around her eyes. She finished the look with a glossy nude lip and bronzed cheeks. But, um, have y'all peeped her nails yet? IN. SANE.
Kelly Osbourne at the 2013 Grammy Awards in L.A. on Feb. 10.

If there's one person we can always count on to bust out an A+ nail game for awards shows, it's Kelly Osbourne. The E! Grammy Awards host continually nails (heh) her ornate-but-not-too-over-the-top red carpet manis, and tonight is no different. In the spirit of Valentine's Day, Kelly opted for some white hearts on her tips, which is a super cute twist on the traditional French manicure. Her crisp white nails totally pop against her all-black Paule Ka cut-out gown, which we LOVE. (No pun intended!) If you're thinking this mani looks a WEE but familiar, your memory has served you right—Kelly sported a similar heart manicure at the SAG Awards a couple weeks ago. But tell us, do you like Kelly's heart nail art? Let us know in the comments below!
Beyonce at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show in New Orleans on Feb. 3 and one of her backup dancers backstage.

We already know what you're thinking, and, yes, we're still talking about Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show amazingness nearly 24 hours later. Between the Destiny's Child reunion and endless sea of Rubin Singer leather ensembles, we thought we'd seen it ALL. Then, we were hit up with some killer behind-the-scenes shots of the nail art, and we just had to share! Bey's longtime manicurist Lisa Logan arrived on Saturday to deck out all the ladies' tips for the pre-taped holographic segments, and, as you can see (above), this was no easy feat. Lisa said, "As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I began working on creating super long nail tips covered with the Gold and Matte Gold Chevron Minx that would be worn by the backup dancers. The process was very time consuming because the nails were going to be used in the holographic segment where it looks like Beyonce has multiple arms, so all the dancers had to be wearing the same design. And, because the nails were so long, I needed to use two Minx templates to cover each tip." The end result? Totally killer all-gold tips complete with thick hand chains. Twerk it, Lisa!
