Kristin Cavallari

Kristin Cavallari will debut Junk Food x NFL Women's Apparel collection at New York Fashion Week.

Whoaaaa, major MTV-meets-fashion news, y'all! Kristin Cavallari is designing a collection of womenswear for Junkfood and the NFL that will debut at New York Fashion Week. *jaw drops to the floor* Basketball and the NBA caught a lot of shine this year for raising the bar for sports style, from the post-game podium to the young guns making their debuts at the NBA Draft. But the end of the season left those hopped up on the buzz of a serious integration of sports and style (what has two thumbs sitting on the space bar typing this post?) clamoring to figure out which league would be next on the fashion come-up. We've had a feeling that football and the NFL may be next for a while and have even gotten affirmation from LeBron James' and Victor Cruz's stylist Rachel Johnson, but this latest news from Laguna Beach and The Hills alumna more than confirms our suspicions.

New York Fashion Week Fall 2013 Nail Art

Assembly New York was all about mixing work and play in their fall 2013 collection, but when we peeped the nails and realized they were Emojis, we basically lost our shiz. Miss Pop created these bright yellow stunners using the oh-so-famous iPhone Japanese icons as inspiration, and we LOVE. IT. *double taps photo*

Karlie Kloss was all over New York Fashion Week this season.
Photo: Getty & Instagram

Sometimes we look at Karlie Kloss, in magazines or advertisements, baking cookies (or should we say, KOOKIES) or sharing a runway with Justin Bieber, and generally OWNING New York Fashion Week, and we get a little jealous. Wouldn't it be fun to be 6 feet tall and jet all over the world and get to wear all of those beautiful clothes? It would, but it would also be SO MUCH WORK. Like, we get to sleep in our own beds and wear flats to work sometimes. Also, have you ever had to walk in really high heels with someone watching you? Like, when you go on a date and realize maybe you aren't TOTALLY down with how many inches you have on your feet, and you get up to go to the bathroom and know your date is going to watch you walk away and you're like, OH NO I'M GONNA FALL, the entire way? Yes? Of course you get it. Well we can only imagine that being on a runway in giant heels is like that but about ten thousand times scarier because if you fall someone will put the photos on Getty and Youtube and I'm having sympathy pains just thinking about it. UGH. That was our long way of saying that Karlie Kloss is AMAZING and we're utterly in awe of her (which, duh, is why she's one of our House of Style hosts). This fashion week, Karlie not only walked in a number of the biggest shows, including Oscar De La Renta, Anna Sui and Carolina Herrera, but she ALSO served as the Mercedes-Benz ambassador, AND ran all around town handing out her kookies to famished show-goers from Milk Studios to Lincoln Center. NOT TO MENTION that she did all this AND flew to LA and back to be our red carpet correspondent for the Grammys. Are you tired yet? Oh also, she looked amazing doing all of this. AMAZING. See our gallery of Karlie's fashion week highlights after the jump!

The Blonds Fall 2013

Nail art from The Blonds fall 2013 New York Fashion Week show.

Earlier this week we dissected The Blonds killer (heh) classic Hollywood horror film-inspired fall 2013 pieces at NYFW (think: fake blood splatters in the form of sequins and dresses doubling as rope-tied victims), but when we looked closer at these frighteningly good ensembles, we noticed the models' nail art game was ridiculously on point—we're talking incredibly iconic slasher flick moments etched onto mini fingernail canvases. Above, you'll see a white on black "Bates Motel" mani from the movie Psycho and the word "REDRUM" (murder backwards!) painted on her nails just like in The Shining. We're gettin' the creeps just looking at it.

Cara Delevingne

Photo: Splash News

We love Cara Delevingne. You love Cara Delevingne. OK, let's be real: everyone in the fashion industry loves Cara Delevingne. And why shouldn't we?! This girl has given us more than enough reasons to obsess, dominating the catwalks (she made cameos at Anna Sui, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Jeremy Scott, and about a zillion others this week) while simultaneously killing the street style game with her '90s-inspired off duty uniform. But don't assume the English supermodel is just a pretty face...in fact, she has about 50 different kinds of faces, from the ridiculous to the badass and everything in between. So now that the New York shows have wrapped and the London runways are kicking into gear, we've compiled the complete collection of Cara Delevingne's funniest mugs from the past week as well as some of our favorites below (plus a handy GIF at the very bottom, because obviously!). After all, Derek Zoolander and Blue Steel are soooo 2001. This season, it's ALL about Cara D.

Marc Jacobs' Fall 2013 Collection.
Photo: Getty

Was it a mars landing, or was it a pajama party, or was it just Marc Jacobs' Fall 2013 show at New York Fashion Week. If you said all of the above, you wouldn't be too far off the mark, no pun intended. After postponing his show due to shipping delays (thanks to winter storm Nemo, of course), Marc Jacobs held his show on Valentine's Day in his usual Park Avenue Armory, and almost immediately we understood why he wanted to wait to get his whole collection before putting it out there for the world to see. A rich collection of watery silks, ultra-thick furs, sequins, and wools presented in the round under a warm, beaming reddish sun, Jacobs certainly had something to be proud of. Unlike his most recent Spring 2013 collection, which was straight mod, with odes to Twiggy and her London not far from the surface, fall 2013 was far more nuanced. There was still that 60s love of collars and boxy coats, but there were also pieces absolutely dripping with a whole different type of glamour. The silk and sequined dresses, which hung off of the models like liquid silver, combined 20s silhouettes with 70s opulence, reminding me of The Great Gatsby and Studio 54 both. Topped with rich, heavy furs, they communicated wealth and beauty to the point of otherworldliness.

The three main colors of Anna Sui's A/W 2013 collection.
Photo: Getty

What is it about the 60's, and mod in particular, that has, and always will have, everyone all shook up. Is it the snappy hemlines--short but still girlish and innocent--or the clean lines? Or is it the way that the shapes, while singular and recognizable, lend themselves to basically any fabric? Or is it that slight, sweet whiff of rebellion that it's impossible not to get off of any garment modeled after the turbulent, swinging 60's? Either way, this has been yet another season where countless designers were inspired by mod, and Anna Sui was no different. Her show opened on the now-signature bob of Karlie Kloss, standing at the end of the runway with with a number of other models. They looked more like they were about to start singing than to walk down the runway, and so it wasn't really too much of a surprise when they began to sway back and forth with a go-go shimmy, like a silent, incredibly well dressed girl group. Karlie opened the show with a knowing, girlish smirk in one of most luxurious suits we have seen this season. In colors ranging from red to bright pink, bronze and orange, Karlie's opening look was like a school uniform gone mad, a small tie done in bright red sequins and a rounded collar. This collection was really about color and about fabric, showing silks, wools, and velvets in a range of warm jewel tones perfect for the chilliest days of fall. There were three main color palettes--red, blue, and green--and Sui kept each look within one of those palettes. This was no matchy-matchy monotone and there was no color blocking in sight. Take notes, because this wasn't just at Anna Sui: one of the biggest lessons we're taking from the shows is that there's nothing more glamorous than a play on pattern, and the brighter the better.

Kat Graham, A$AP Rocky, Elizabeth Olsen

Kat Graham, A$AP Rocky and Elizabeth Olsen attend shows at New York Fashion Week.

As Fashion Weeks go, they tend to save the best for last. Best shows, best looks, and the best celebs to take it all in. We're glad to see that we've hit the last day of Fall 2013 on a high note, where the likes of Kat Graham, A$AP Rocky and Elizabeth Olsen sat front row. Kat Graham was impossible to miss sporting new blonde hair and wearing a bold, primary-color bodycon dress at the Jeremy Scott runway show. She also sat next to an energized A$AP Rocky, who decided to catch a few shows after making his runway model debut at Hood By Air a few days earlier, wearing head to toe black. We have to say we've been disappointed we haven't seen more of Elizabeth Olsen this Fashion Week, vanishing after she appeared at the Prabal Gurung for Target collaboration. But the littlest Olsen delivered, appearing at Proenza Schouler in almost the same color palette as the current collection, wearing a structured blue jacket and black leather pants. Take a look at all of the celebs at New York Fashion Week after the jump!
