Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart evidently has a thing for sheer jumpsuits.

Looks like Kristen Stewart is a believer in the adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." And "it," in this case, refers to dressy, sheer jumpsuits. While other pop stars and Hollywood PYTs spent their Fourth of July holidays wearing various iterations of red, white, and blue, K.Stew spent Independence Day overseas at Zuhair Murad's Paris Haute Couture show in a black jumpsuit by the Lebanese designer. Granted, it's generally good form for celebs to sport the wares of any given designer whose show they're attending, and sure, the whole sparkly sheer look is kiiiind of Zuhair Murad's thing, but we refuse to ignore that this isn't that Kristen hasn't just worn this style once or twice but THREE times.

Rihanna wears giant cardigan to Chanel's Fall/Winter 2014 Paris Haute Couture show.
Photo: Getty Images

This morning in Paris, Karl Lagerfeld and his Chanel team debuted their Fall/Winter 2014 Paris Haute Couture collection. By sheer virtue of the designs, the haute couture show guest lists are distinctly more elite than ready-to-wear (specialty pieces versus IRL clothes) which makes for a heavily curated front row. We weren't at all surprised to see that Barbadian beauty Rihanna made the cut (#CCcertified), but we WERE surprised by what she wore: little more than a giant cardigan!

Fashion Week, especially Paris Fashion Week, is often regarded as a time for serious fashion (whatever that means). We beg to differ. From New York Fashion Week shade to London's wildest accessories to reimagining Milan Fashion Week with Beast Jesus, this has been a hilarious Fashion Month, punctuated with a giant, pizza-flavored exclamation point by Paris Fashion Week. Don't believe us? We rounded up our Top 5 favorite PFW runway photos that illustrate exactly that.

It's become markedly clear this season that Marc Jacobs is really having a pajama moment. First, there was his intergalactic loungewear party at NYFW and now he's closing out his Paris Louis Vuitton show in a full, floral set. WITH SANDALS. A hat tip to you, Marc. Stay cozy, bruh bruh.

Sky Ferreira, Frank Ocean, Amanda Seyfried, and Ciara attend shows at Paris Fashion Week.
Photo: Getty Images

Fashion Month can seem like a long one, what with the whirlwind of cities, designers, celebrities—oh, AND a thing called award shows thrown in to shake up the mix. It might be crazy while it's all happening, but then before we know it, the catwalks are rolled up yet again, and the shows are over for yet another season. Today marks the fashion finale in Paris, but before you start blinking back your Lauren Conrad tear™ (we kid, we kid), don't worry. There were enough celeb attendees at Paris Fashion Week to last us alllll the way until September...or, at the very least, to soften the blow. Front row mainstays like Sky Ferreira hit up Givenchy and Saint Laurent, whereas Frank Ocean made his Fashion Week debut at Christian Dior and later followed up with Givenchy, Valentino and Chanel. Not too shabby, right? Amanda Seyfried headed straight from the Oscars to Givenchy, and she was joined there by Ciara, who killed it in a chic long-sleeved black gown. Then, there were the duos.

M.I.A. performing at Paris Fashion Week, and a look from Kenzo's Fall 2013 show.
Photo: Getty

Be still our hearts, for the Kenzo Fall 2013 show has them all aflutter. Beyond just presenting a collection filled with beautiful, lush, challenging silhouettes at Paris Fashion Week, Carole Lim and Humberto Leon also gave us the gift of some brand new music from M.I.A., which is something you KNOW we've been waiting for with bated breath. The eight and a half minute long Matangi Mixtape includes snippets of multiple new songs as well as countless beats and samples, and while we can't write many of the lyrics here, they contain that signature M.I.A. razor-wit and total lack of cowardice and we LOVE them. While representatives from Kenzo say that the mix is an "original song for the Kenzo 2013 show," we wonder if this isn't a preview into what we have coming from M.I.A. in the not so distant future. Whatever this is, we want more.

Frank Ocean

It's been a long time coming, but as of this morning in Paris, Frank Ocean has officially attended his first fashion show! *wild chorus of "AWWWWwwww"s* The real story here, though, is that the Grammy award-winning singer didn't just make his sartorial society debut, he did it sitting front row at this Paris Fashion Week's most anticipated show: Christian Dior. Never one for fashion theatrics, Frank kept his look simple with the crispest, most immaculate white button-up worn over slim but still loose trousers. His accessories were minimal, too, with a black leather band, rectangular face watch, one white earring in the shape of a wide chevron, and a pair of what appear to be trusty black and royal Jordan 1s.

H&M runway show fall 2013

Looks from the H&M Fall 2013 runway show.
Photo: Getty Images

When we heard that H&M was plotting a runway show during Fashion Week, we had a feeling it was going to be big. But once we found out that the retailer was showing at the Musée Rodin in PARIS, well, that's when things became epic, and luckily the "wow" factor at yesterday's event didn't disappoint. First, though, let's be real: we know that you can't compare H&M to Paris Fashion Week MVPS like Dior, YSL, and Chanel. It's like apples and oranges, we get it. But the fact that the Swedish fast fashion giant nabbed celebs like Chloe Moretz, Ashley Olsen, and Emma Roberts to fill the front row AND snagged top models like Cara Delevingne to showcase their fall wares? Well, it just speaks to the high-profile extravagance and entertainment that Fashion Week these days is all about. Anyway, on to the clothes! Nodding to '70s stylesetters like Jane Birkin, models worked the runway in sequin and chiffon dresses, statement separates, and oversized outerwear. It's easy, always cute, and an effortlessly cool uniform that anyone can appreciate.

Kanye West

Kanye West wears a red mask to last night's Maison Martin Margiela Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week show.
Photo: Splash News

Soooo are masks Kanye West's new thing or is the bright red balaclava he wore to Maison Martin Margiela's Paris Haute Couture show last night just his way of trying to beat the cold? We know it's skin-crackingly frigid over here on the East Coast, but this knit face-covering seems a little extreme for the cool 34°F (not even below freezing!!!) the City of Lights caught last night. This meteorological knowledge plus Ye's recent history with masks lead us to believe only one thing: Kanye wore this cherry red ski mask in the name of FASHUN.

Okay, we know what you're probably thinking: "What week doesn't belong to Raf Simons??" And if you are pondering that, you do have a point. The Belgian fashion designer is extremely gifted and has been breathing his light into the fashion industry from his eponymously named menswear label to his former run at Jil Sander and now at the helm of legendary Christian Dior. We just mean that this week in particular, Raf has been on our minds and in our faces for a variety of things and via a variety of outlets from A$AP Rocky to adidas. Let's take a look!

Harlem's finest, A$AP Rocky, dropped his debut album Long.Live.A$AP this Monday and kicked things off with a Tuesday night performance on The Late Show with David Letterman. For the most part, Rocky kept his stage steez pretty minimal: a crisp white button-up, white snapback, and a smark black shorts suit. All the better to let his footwear (this BANANAS pair of Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2008 De Stijl Lego multicolored hiking boots) shine.

Alia Wang, Karlie Kloss

It's well-storied within the fashion community that Alexander Wang's niece, Aila, is one of the (expectedly) best-dressed children on the planet. (Sorry, Suri Cruise!) But seeing her clad in custom threads from her sartorial magician of an uncle AND juxtaposed with Karlie Kloss serving up smoky-eyed realness in the same collection? Our brains have had such a difficult time reconciling the simultaneous cute and fierce that yea, we ARE still talking about these looks close to a month after they each first graced the world. YOU MAD??? The clincher for us is how next-level genius Wang's Spring 2013 collection is rendered by seeing these images in tandem.
