Rihanna in Abu Dhabi.

Few would deny that Rihanna is a beautiful girl. Fewer still would dispute that she looks phenomenal in these stunning photos that appeared in the 25-year-old’s Instagram feed this past Friday. In them, the international superstar is discreetly covered in head-to-toe black, serving hijab realness during a visit to the magnificent Sheikh Zayad Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. That said, I completely understand why they've stirred up some serious drama online. Read More...
While you were carving pumpkins and putting the finishing touches on your Halloween costume this weekend, Kanye West was kicking off his Yeezus tour in Seattle. His first solo tour in five years, Yeezy held nothing back, giving his audience a massive show (a two-hour 27-song set list to be exact) complete with an enormous mountain-shaped set, a cameo from Jesus, and of course, a bajillion fashion Easter eggs (our favorite!)—and we're not just talking about MTV News' Rob Markman's first-hand account that Kanye's Red October Yeezy 2s have red glow-in-the-dark soles.

You may not know the name Bonnie McKee, but you undoubtedly know songs that she's written for the likes of Katy Perry, Ke$ha, and Britney Spears. The song credits on her Wikipedia page read like a list of the best pop songs ever. This summer, Bonnie released her own track, "American Girl," and today, she released a video for her new single, "Sleepwalker." Bonnie was scheduled to head on tour with the Jonas Brothers, but as we all know, they scrapped the tour and crushed our perfect eyebrow-filled dreams.

ICYMI, Katy Perry was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend, and she put on a SHOW, you guys. The pop star sang two songs off her upcoming album, Prism (which rolls out on October 22nd), and per uzhe, she did not shy away from onstage theatrics. Many musicians tend to use the studio’s compact performance space as an opportunity to strip down their typical set and get back to basics—but let’s be honest: there’s nothing “basic” about the woman who brought us a boxing ring under the Brooklyn Bridge.
It's no secret that we're big fans of Selena Gomez around here at MTV Style: we keep up to date on her hairstyles, who she's hanging out with, and what she's wearing on tour. As big-time Selenators, imagine how excited we were when we found out that we'd get to chat with Selly about her "Stars Dance" tour wardrobe, her role in the design process, and how she changes outfits so many times. We were the most excited.
Hannah Hooper stands out. As the spunky, sole chick in a band full of dudes, you can't help but be drawn to her ever-changing on-stage style (and her ever-changing, ombre extensions *swoon*). One day, you might catch Grouplove's leading lady rocking around in a skeleton leotard onesie—and the next day, she's slowly swaying with a tambourine in a vintage, floor-length, multi-layered grape chiffon dress, like she did for the band's recent show at the McKittrick Hotel in NYC. (SO Stevie Nicks.) #impressed
But somehow, she manages to pull it all off. Actually, she more than pulls it off. She NAILS IT. Every. Single. Time. *bows down* Seriously, the girl wears leopard-print spandex better than Peggy Bundy. *SCURRT* I went there. IDK how she does it, but we at least had to try to steal some of her style secrets—so we did what any curious fan would do. We asked her to show us what's in her suitcase! (Or, like, the next best thing, which equates to a bunch of personal pics of her favorite on-tour outfits. Because folding/re-folding a packed suitcase = giant pain-in-butt.) Check out nine of Hannah's favorite performance get-ups below!

"If I had to describe my fashion style on tour in one word, it would be hangster (hippy gangster)."
Katy Perry and co. get ready for Le Grand Journal.
Photo: @katyperry's Twitter
As you may have noticed, Katy Perry’s been in Paris this week getting the VIP treatment at Fashion Week and just generally looking lovely. But it appears she’s there for play AND work, as Perry recently tweeted that tonight she’ll be appearing on Le Grand Journal, a French nightly news and talk show. (And by the looks of the rehearsal photo, there's gonna be a performance and it's gonna be RULL colorful.) But wait, there's more! We also got to peep a pre-show pic of the singer and her crew wearing like, every possible type of garment that’s ever been made in Kenzo’s flying tiger print. Seriously though.
If you live on this planet ("Hi! I'm Earth. Have we met?"), there's a chance you may have heard by now that Miley: The Movement, airs tonight. *SQUEAL* It's basically gonna be like Christmas, but with more twerking, less wreaths and like, a TON of tongue. ICYMI, Miley Cyrus, Queen of Can't Stop/Won't Stop, has had a pretty may-jah year, so we thought it only fitting to pay tribute to the artist-formerly-known-as Hannah Montana with the sincerest form of flattery: Halloween costumes, DUH. Oh. What? You thought all the foam fingers would be sold-out by now? YOU THOUGHT WRONG. (Go. Buy. Now.) And BTW, you won't find any pre-packaged costumes here. NEWP. *hair flip* We decided to get RULL creative to help you put together your favorite Miley moment: from that VMAs performance to one of the first times we saw her twerk (in a unicorn onesie, no less) and even alllll the way back to the vintage Miley days of The Disney Channel—we are hookin' you up with some super-sweet outfits that will a.) provoke jealousy b.) get people talking and c.) prahhhbably rile up the Parents Television Council. So, you're welcome.
MILEY CYRUS' NUDE VMAS PERFORMANCE OUTFIT

You've seen it, you know it, you love it and you totes don't get what all the fuss was about. When Miley ripped off her fuzzy-wuzzy wuz a leotard on stage at the 2013 VMAs, gasps echoed through the crowd. It was awesome. Cyrus rocked a nude, latex two-piece and white platform sneakers for the second part of her performance, and chose to accessorize the look with a simple, now-infamous foam finger. But don't stress! We get it—not everyone has the cajones to be quite as ~bold~ as Miley, so we tried to achieve her VMAs look with a little more, um, coverage. The mesh panel on this pale-colored bodysuit gives the illusion of belly-bearing, without having to worry about like, doing crunches and stuff. The matching gym shorts allow you to go about your trick-or-treating without showing everyone your booty and the bright red lipstick will make sure that your words stand out in a crowd. (As if the foam finger won't do that already.)

You know those days when you tear out everything in your closet, only to end up wearing the very first thing you tried on? Well, if you’re Beyonce, you get to do that with your hair. #JEALLY Not that we blame her, of course. I mean, the woman has essentially dedicated multiple dance moves to the art of dramatic hair-whipping, so it makes total sense that she’d want to bring back the length. Also, she can do whatever she wants because she is the KING/KWEEN and we would bow down on bended knee regardless of her ‘do. (But TBH, her head rolls just would not be the same with a pixie, AMIRITE? Althooough, she would be a lot less likely to get her curls stuck in a fan. Just sayin’. #SAFETYFIRST)
Iggy Azalea performs at Philipp Plein's Milan Fashion Week 2014 show.

Fashion Week has turned into Fashion Three Weeks for Iggy Azalea. After sitting front row at a number of New York Fashion Week shows and performing at DKNY's 25th Anniversary Party, Iggy has surfaced in Milan and, oh, on Philipp Plein's runway. Plein's website describes Iggy as the ideal woman, "poised between haute couture tailoring and a mood that is unashamedly hip hop," so it only makes sense that she kicked-off the show with a live performance of "Work," wearing a short, structured, and slit-bearing dress. Iggy ditched her recently debuted pin-up style bangs for a sleek and tight bun and kept her makeup au naturel.
