Happy Golden Globes night, you guys! Tonight is obviously no ordinary Sunday, as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and dozens of our favorite actors and actresses are giving us the perfect excuse to cancel any plans and settle in on the couch with some popcorn. We've been stalking Twitter and Instagram patiently (JK, not patiently AT ALL) throughout the day for glimpses of what the Girls girls, Jennifer Lawrence, and pretty much all of our style crushes will wear— plus who'll pull a fast one on us and turn up in something MINDBLOWING and unexpected.

Tonight it's all finally going down, and we'll be with you every step of the way with outfit info, style surprises, and trends (like the one above, hint hint!). Elle Fanning And Jennifer Lawrence Top Our 2013 Critics' Choice Awards Best Dressed List

Whereas last night's People's Choice Awards ceremony was all about the public opinion, tonight it was time for the critics to weigh in! The Broadcast Film Critics Association may have had final say on the very best that Hollywood had to offer in 2012, but we're taking it upon ourselves to choose the best dressed stars. Fortunately they turned out in droves, with some of our MTV Style faves (Elle and JLaw, we're looking at you!) rocking their predicted red carpet hits as well as newcomers like the adorable Quvenzhane Wallis. The best part is, awards season is only going to get better from here! So get a style sneak peek at our top dressers below, and let us know who made YOUR list in the comments.

Fact: Elle can do pretty much no wrong. The younger Fanning sib has proven herself as a full-flung fashion maven, pulling off tough trends like those Prada platform sandals, drawn-on rainbow locks, and even a fuzzy pink hat. At tonight's ceremony she went slightly more classic than usual in a strapless Chanel dress from the label's Spring 2013 collection, adorned with flowers and intricate beading. We're digging her beauty look, too— there aren't many 14-year-olds who rock bright pink eyeliner QUITE as well as this one! Plus, she's topped off with the ensemble with the ultimate accessory: a giant, genuine, and 100% adorable grin.

The 'Girls' Cast Goes All Black For Season 2 Premiere

To say we're excited for the season two premiere of Girls (January 13!) would be the understatement of the year—but as ecstatic as we are to see our four favorite ladies grace the small screen once again, we'll admit we love nothing more than spotting Zosia Mamet, Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke and Allison Williams decked out in their own real life outfits. Last night at the Girls premiere in New York, all four actresses went with the tried-and-true (and total New York staple) black with, of course, their own personal spin on each ensemble.

Chloe Grace Moretz, Katy Perry, And More Are Best Dressed At 2013 People's Choice Awards

Here we go, y'all! Tonight's People's Choice Awards officially kicks off the 2013 awards shows season, a season of evening gowns, borrowed baubles, and the BEST clutch game. From Katy Perry to Jennifer Lawrence to our Awkward. girl Ashley Rickards, when the PYTs of movies, music, AND television come together for one night of merry-making and crystal award-doling, it's no easy task to whittle them down into a Best Dressed List. Still, we tried. Now, without more ado, here are our favorite People's Choice Awards looks!

CHLOE GRACE MORETZ IN SIMONE ROCHA

Chloe Grace Moretz was one of the first starlettes to grace the PCA red carpet, and BOY, was she a tough act to follow! The Carrie actress was an absolute vision of fashion-forward youth in this neon yellow Simone Rocha dress. Shorter than knee-length but not quite a mini, the look was easy, fun, and age-appropriate paired with fresh-faced, peachy cheeks and loose half-up half-down hair.

Taylor Swift Kills It In Her Super Deep V-Neck Gown At The 2013 People's Choice Awards

WOAH, Taylor! We're used to Taylor Swift slaying red carpets like dragons all awards season long, but even WE got the slightest case of cartoon wolf eyes at the sight of her timeless yet daring Ralph Lauren gown on the 2013 People's Choice Awards red carpet. The floor length, pure white dress featured a ground-sweeping train and super deep v-neck, a look that's far more revealing than what we're used to seeing Tay hit the carpet in. Not that we're all that surprised: Taylor has been upping the ante with her red carpet looks as of late, so this most recent look seems like an almost natural progression. Starting way back in September, when Tay wore that white J. Mendel suit to the 2012 VMA, and then just generally turned up the heat with a series of impeccably tailored, pretty-yet-not-totally-innocent frocks. From ballerina va-va-voom at the Aria awards to her beaded, peekaboo gown at the MTV EMA, Taylor is staying true to her elegant, classic style while also showing the world that it's not all tea dresses and costume parties for this girlie girl. Could this latest trip down the red carpet be a sign that 2013 is going to hold even more red carpet risks than the year we've just had? Or could it be a nice little smirk in the DIRECTION of ONE certain boy band heartthrob? We're not much for indulging rumors, but whatever, get yours, Tay, show 'em.

The Wanted Wear 5 Shades Of Grey On People's Choice Awards Red Carpet

So far we've peeped some killer gowns on the People's Choice Awards red carpet, but we need to take a moment to talk about another incredibly important part of awards show fashion—the boys. Not to be totally creepy and weird (OK, maybe a teeny bit creepy), but The Wanted looked good when they rolled up in their five shades of grey suit-jacket-and-denim ensembles. They all looked crisp and clean in their casual-cool outfits but, before we go any further, we need to break down each one of the British boy band's looks to find out what exactly makes up their incredibly sleek style game.

Well, it's not often we get to cover awards shows on a Wednesday evening, so we're totally taking advantage of tonight's People's Choice Awards and deeming it a mid-week celebration. We have a feeling this show is gonna be FILLED with tons of killer onstage ensembles (have you heard Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys are performing? Um, yeah. Enough said.) and a bajillion drool-worthy red carpet dresses that we'll be oohing and ahhing over all night, so get your PJs on, cozy up next to your laptop, and keep checking back here as we update our red carpet photo gallery throughout the night!

Emma Stone And Ryan Gosling Go Monochrome At 'Gangster Squad' Premiere

Finally! After months of counting down, Gangster Squad is finally here! And with the movie's highly anticipated release comes something EQUALLY anticipated— for us, anyway. We're talking about its totally amazing, totally talented, and totally stylish costars. Serving up a double dose of major eye candy last night, Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling stepped out at the film's Los Angeles premiere looking predictably gorge. Emma worked the carpet in a bright red strapless frock by one of her favorite designers, Lanvin. With a sweetheart neckline, floral embellishment, and a sleek, knee-length cut, THIS is a showstopper if we ever saw one.

Miley Cyrus, Kat Graham And Iggy Azalea Played With Sheer Panels On The 'VH1 Divas' Red Carpet

Last night was a big one for the ladies, and Adam Lambert. VH1 Divas is always one of our most anticipated nights of the year, because, obviously. It's rife with big voices and big fashions, from the PURPLE carpet to the stage. We've already broken down all of Glambert's looks from the night, and noticed that The Blonds made a major appearance on the stage. But what about the ladies on the carpet? We noticed one trend was really making the rounds, and that was the creative display of skin, but just a little bit. We all know the power of a little peek in these situations, and three ladies in particular showed off three flawless ways to rock it. In three very different ways, Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea, and Kat Graham all showed some skin, while also keeping a little something to the imagination. While, in Iggy and Miley's case, we didn't see them in their peek-a-boo looks for long before they took to the stage, the dresses each made a distinct impact on us. With dress up season very much upon us, we're definitely going to be taking some cues from these stunners.

Kristen Stewart Continues Sheer Streak For 'On The Road' Premiere

If there's anyone who truly understands the saying "if you got it, flaunt it," it's Kristen Stewart. Sure, this is the same girl who prefers jeans and Converse to pretty much anything, but when it's time to get glammed-up, well, she pulls out ALL the stops. And you don't have to look very far for proof! Just yesterday the actress turned out for the premiere of her new flick On The Road, wearing a hot-off-the-runway Erdem dress and showing that her love for sheer is still going strong. K.Stew even made some changes to the original version of the frock by abbreviating the hem to a thigh-grazing mini (it was originally knee-length) and adding neon Christian Louboutin heels. One thing she DID decide to keep this time around: the pale blue satin bralet, and some seriously short shorts.
