Diligent Destiny's Child fans already know that 2012 marks the 15th anniversary of the release of the group's first single "No, No, No" which catapulted DC into household name status. Beyonce announced via her website, that DC would be releasing a commemorative album, called Playlist: The Very Best of Destiny's Child, chock full of tracks from the group's 15 years. Along with pumping out enough hits to secure their spot as one of the biggest girl groups of all time, Destiny's Child was infamous for their seeeeeerious style game. In honor of the past 15 years of Bey, Kelly, Michelle, and yes, Farrah, LaTavia and LeToya, too, we rounded up 15 of DC's iconic looks. Check 'em all out after the jump and just TRY not to get nostalgic.

Pretty sure we have Gwen Stefani to thank for the '90s bindi trend, but that doesn't mean we'll ever forget the quadruple wink at Mumbai fashion.

Demi Lovato may be feeling the '90s vibes these days with chokers and grunge-inspired beauty, but she's not the ONLY one having a style flashback. Emma Watson worked her own take on a major '90s trend this week, showing up to a special screening of The Perks of Being a Wallflower in London wearing...a dress over pants. Yep, whether you like it or not- the look officially back! The trend has been slowly infiltrating the runways, with designers like Lanvin, Dries van Noten and Acne showing in the past, and was a big hit this season as well, thanks to Chris Benz and Diane Von Furstenberg, who paraded the layers down the catwalk for Spring 2013. Considering our girl Emma is always one to hop on the trends early, it's not REALLY that surprising that she's ahead of the game. But considering her love for structural minidresses by emerging designers (see: Brood), the choice to rock this Christian Dior Couture number IS a little unexpected.

Nina Dobrev Kat Graham

Sometimes we like to think that stars call each other up before major events, BFF-style, to talk about what they're planning on wearing and how they should coordinate outfits. And while that's probably not the case, our theory still makes total sense given Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham at this weekend's iHeartRadio festival. The two gorgeous Vampire Diaries costars both worked shimmery metallic minidresses at the event, complete with lace overlay and high necks. But wait a sec- the similarities don't end there! Nina and Kat ALSO had peekaboo cutout backs, which they each flaunted on the red carpet. We can always count on the duo to set trends separately, but when we're lucky enough to catch them together? Yep, it's pretty much a stylesetter EXPLOSION.

As much as we love a classic red, black, or white red carpet look, there's something about citrus that really has us going after the 2012 Emmy Awards red carpet. Whether we're talkin' shades of yellow, orange, or green, all the colors of our favorite vitamin C packed treats lit up some of our favorite actresses tonight. Claire Danes in lemon, Julie Bowen in electric green, and Padma Lakshmi in rich orange were only the beginning of this sartorial fruit basket, and we love, love, loved all of the bright, peppy looks.

YELLOW

When we think of yellow red carpet looks, we often think of eternal sunshine yellow fan Solange Knowles in her signature hue. However, she's not the only one who can rock the sunshine look. Homeland actress and Emmy winner Claire Danes wore a beautifully draped Lanvin strapless number, complemented happily by her ever expanding baby bump (we're totally imagining little Angela Chases right now). She let the dress carry the look, keeping her neck bare and wearing her hair in soft, loose waves. On the more structured side of the spectrum, Julianne Moore wore a long sleeved, floor length Dior gown that was both classic and directional. With a sleek crew neck, fitted sleeves and a wide, deeply pleated a-line skirt, the dress was quite a statement. Julianne made it pop even more by wearing a red lipstick even brighter than her signature gorgeous red hair. Lastly, Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco wore a strapless, beautifully structured Angel Sanchez gown in our favorite, most pucker-inducing shade of lemon, with an exquisite, architectural peplum and simple side braid.

emmys awards beauty

We all know that bold, red, va-va-vooom lips may scream "Old Hollywood" 99% of the time, but at tonight's Emmy Awards, stars proved that sometimes it's a less-is-more beauty look that REALLY gets the attention. Nude, skin-toned, naked...whatever you want to call it, this hue totally dominated the makeup game, with everyone from Kate Mara to Lena Dunham sporting the trend. Lena and Kate both paired their lips with a smokey, dark eye, adding a seriously sultry edge to an otherwise demure look. The surprising result is simultaneously innocent AND seductive, and we're pretty much obsessed. Also, is it just us, or do the deep side parts, light brown/reddish hair color and rosy cheeks on the actresses look strikingly similar? Clearly these two are on to something, and let's just say this pale lip look packs a MAJOR punch.

Kiernan Shipka, Zooey Deschanel

We may be sitting around in PJs eating ice cream while we watch the 2012 Emmy Awards, but we know for the pretty little ladies gracing the night's red carpet, awards shows like this make for HUGE fashion fairytale moments. So huge, in fact, that some PYTs even take it a bit literally. Enter Kiernan Shipka and Zooey Deschanel. The TV starlettes both stepped out wearing markedly Cinderella-esque ensembles, but each interpreted the look in her own way.

Ariel Winter, Elizabeth Moss, and Ginnifer Goodwin at the 2012 Emmy Awards.

Fall may have officially begun this weekend, but flowers are still blooming all over this year's Emmy Awards red carpet. The the bright pops of color we saw blooming on Ginnifer Goodwin, Elizabeth Moss, and Ariel Winter's gowns were right at home in the beaming California sun. The dresses on these three ladies were like a masterclass in the versatility of florals--from abstract, nearly watercolor renderings, to more classic patterns, to botanically-inspired embroidery--proving that tried-and-true textile trends can always benefit from experimentation and reinterpretation.

Kat Dennings Jena Malone Julia Louis-Dreyfus 2012 Emmys

Despite the scorching temperatures on the 2012 Emmy Awards red carpet, the dresses certainly looked fall-ready in their jewel-toned hues. Kat Dennings, Jena Malone, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus all sported an autumn-appropriate brownish-red oxblood color in three totally gorge ways. Kat wore a gathered strapless J. Mendel dress with a plunging sweetheart neckline and gathered chiffon overlay. She accessorized with a statement gold Neil Lane cuff and matching cocktail ring with Louboutins underneath. Kat vamped up her beauty look with shiny black nails, burgundy lips, light brown shadow, and tousled waves. Perf!

All anyone could talk about on the red carpet at tonight's Emmy Awards was how HOT it was in Los Angeles and how the wacky weather was messing with actors' fashion game (ahem, #celebrityproblems). But hey, you'd never know it was sweltering out, because not a single star seemed affected by the heat. Whatever their secret, all our favorites stayed cool on the red carpet in sleek gowns, poufy dresses, and everything in between. And although some TV stars were conspicuously absent (Lea Michele and Aubrey Plaza, we missed you!), we had more than enough killer ensembles to fill an epic Top Ten list. So let's get to it!

SARAH HYLAND IN MARCHESA

Fact: we loooove Sarah Hyland. And who wouldn't? The Modern Family star is sweet, talented, AND has a seriously stylish instinct that goes way beyond just looking pretty on a red carpet. She co-designed her Christian Siriano dress at the 2011 Emmy Awards, and she's back for round two this year, this time in Marchesa. She worked with designer Georgina Chapman on the dove gray sleeveless gown adorned with glitzy embellishment and draping fabric. We're obsessed enough with the look as is, BUT throw in her fresh-faced beauty look and a sparkly-tipped manicure?! Um, win.

Karlie Kloss at The Novak Djokovic Foundation Inaugural Dinner.
Photo: Getty Images

What with baking her signature cookies, prepping for her new House of Style gig, and ya know, absolutely killing it on the runway, Karlie Kloss undoubtedly has crammed enough activities into Fashion Week to make ANYONE exhausted. But while we're personally counting down the minutes til our much-needed post-NYFW nap, for Karlie it's a different story. Last night the supermodel added another activity into her packed agenda, lending her name to a seriously good cause. She attended a dinner for The Novak Djokovic Foundation, an organization established by tennis star Novak Djokovic that helps underprivileged children in his home country of Serbia. Karlie proved her special guest status for the eve in an intricately embellished v-neck gown from Carolina Herrera, simple black pumps, and black envelope clutch. With swept up hair and natural makeup (save for a swipe of liner), this is effortless perfection if we ever saw it. Who says fashion has to be dramatic?! She wasn't the only one working a sleek, relatively minimal look last night. Theophilus London proved you could look white-hot even AFTER Labor Day in crisp, clean separates.
