When it comes to closet swag, Jaden and Willow Smith have the sibling style thing on lock. The talented duo (and offspring of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, NBD) stepped out at Toronto International Film Festival this weekend and killed it yet again in perfectly complementary ensembles. But then again, is this REALLY any surprise?! They're no strangers to looking the part- remember the amazing MSFTS outfits they rocked at the BET Awards this year? Well, let's just say these two went above and beyond on Sunday, showing their wild sides (literally) in eye-popping animal prints. Keeping it all in the family has NEVER been so stylish.

Rita Ora Goes All Out In Sparkles, Feathers And More At The 2012 VMAs

We've already sung many praises for Rita Ora's custom, super sparkly Pucci jumpsuit since we first clapped eyes on it on the VMA red carpet yesterday. Besides being unbelievably lavish and completely perfect for Rita, the partially sheer jumper was also part of a lace and sheer trend that we're totally planning to incorporate into our own wardrobes this fall. We thought she had reached--no pun intended--sheer sartorial perfection, but then the show started and she came on stage to present the award for Best Male Video and. We. Died. Rita had changed out of her jumpsuit and into a GORG Stephane Rolland couture gown in a pure, angelic white, with black harness-style detailing and feathered shoulders. It's basically the most amazing dress we have ever seen. We're also totally into the fact that Rita wore makeup that could transition between the two totally different looks. Maybe she just couldn't decide which one to wear? We wouldn't have been able to either. Taylor Swift Vs. Kat Graham: Who Wore A Suit To The VMAs Better?

OK guys, get ready for one of our toughest Who Wore It Better-s of all time. Both girls are major faves, both took a risk on the VMA carpet, and both looked totally freaking amazing. We're talking, of course, about Taylor Swift and Kat Graham, two MTV Style staples decided to wear the pants this year--literally. It's funny how a slim, perfectly tailored suit can make a pretty girl look even more feminine than the most princess-like of gowns, but that's really how we felt about the night's menswear inspired evening wear. We're so used to seeing Taylor in demure, sparkly Cinderella gowns, it was something of a relief to see her in something so simple, structured, and stark as a white suit. Kat Graham, on the other hand, took the look to it's most luxurious, pairing a rich, deep color with a pop of leopard. How will we ever decide who wore it better? Let's go a little deeper into the looks, shall we?

You guys remember Riff Raff. The Jody Highroller from From G's To Gents who, since his days on MTV, has since broken out his own music career. Also, James Franco's character in Spring Breakers is allegedly based on him. *dusts shoulders off* Riff Raff hit up the 2012 VMAs as a special guest correspondent for MTV Hive's Weird Vibes, but since he knows we feel his steez, he stopped by the MTV Style red carpet hot spot to give us the rundown on his spirited VMA look.

Sheer, Sleeves, And Black Ruled The 2012 VMA Red Carpet

You never really know what to expect at an event like the VMAs, where candy colored hair and anime outfits DOMINATE the scene. Yes, we essentially live for this amazing creativity year after year, but we were also pleasantly surprised to see some seriously wearable trends from some of our music favorites last night on the carpet. Amber Rose, Ke$ha and Miley Cyrus , all worked it in sheer dresses with allover black detailing. Amber (who announced she was pregnant in the preshow!) looked radiant in a skintight gown that accentuated her baby bump. The long sleeves, high neck, and elegant detail meshed together for a new twist on classic glamour. Fact: it's impossible to predict what Ke$ha is going to whip out on the red carpet, but last night she kept things toned-down in a Zaldy number, Prada shoes, and bleach blonde hair. We love how the short length on the lace minidress is offset by the train in the back, making it quite literally the middle ground between the two. Last but not least, there's Miley, who rounds out three of the night's biggest trends in one simple gown. She's wearing a low-cut Pucci gown with long sleeves and sheer paneling. It's a seriously grownup look for the star, who's been channeling her punky side ever since her infamous chop. Does the fact that Miley opted out of tiny, punchy dresses for a more statuesque, sophisticated number mean her style is changing yet again? Guess we'll have to wait and see...

Katy Perry Works Long And Short Dresses At The VMAs

Hellloo Katy Perry! The superstar had all sorts of surprises up her (cough-couture-cough) sleeves tonight at the VMAs, with kissing Harry and Niall from One Direction ON THE LIPS on live television and whatnot...you know how it goes. But when she wasn't causing commotion (and making us jealous) onstage, she was killing the fashion competition offstage with a pair of dresses and classic H-Wood glam. Remember last year's avant-garde Dior getup, complete with a yellow head cube and lavender hair? Well, let's just say she swung in a darker direction this time around in a gothy Elie Saab gown with a sheer bottom and leather detailing. Topped off with sleek black long hair and a defined lashes, she kind of reminds us of a modern day Wednesday Addams meets Megan Fox. In other words, it's more of a throwback look to old-school Katy than bubblegum pop queen.

One Direction, Frank Ocean, Emma Watson, Miley Cyrus And More In Our VMA Top Red Carpet Looks

One of the hardest parts of the epic evening that is the VMAs is that inevitable moment when we have to hunker down and decide our 10 favorite looks of the night. As always, the VMA carpet was awash in beautiful, daring, and downright bonkers looks, so to say this is a daunting task is the understatement to end all understatements. While there wasn't quite as much crazy fashion as there has been in the past--no candy raver mosaics, cube hats, or cross dressing, for example--the level of lavish was definitely sky high. With lace, sheer bodysuits, and every twist on leather we could imagine, this year's red carpet was filled with moments that made us pull up the images online, zoom in, and squint as hard as we could to try and take in every detail. The competition was fierce, and in our opinions everyone looked awesome (yes, even that guy in the pink spandex who totally photo-bombed Holland Roden's Red Carpet Report interview with Miley Cyrus), but in the end we had some faves that we just couldn't help but call out.

We are so envious of the luscious locks the boys of One Direction were sporting on the red carpet, yeowza. The perfect combination of voluminous and soft, while also looking structured, we just want to run our hands through all of their hair like the giant creeps we now feel like for writing that sentence. But really, it's like the band stuck their heads in front of a very strong breeze and then expertly shellacked the results into place. Is that a perfect swirl right at Zayn's forehead? It is! Ah-may-zing. Oh yeah and they also wore clothes, whatever. Their red carpet look was sharp, classically British, and refined, with a mixture of slim suiting and classic basics in warm colors. And it complemented their hair (did we mention their hair?) perfectly.

Blondes Have More Fun (At The 2012 VMAs)

Holy bleach! Holy beach! Blonde and tan was the theme of this year’s VMA red carpet. In the spirit of healthy competition we’re going to play a little three-on-three. I’ve grouped the ladies into two teams (based on their lip color, of course): Team Red and Team Nude. And while Team Nude is without a doubt the most visually striking, I think Team Red’s polished, old Hollywood look may lead them to victory in these Blonde vs. Blonde games. Let’s start with Team Nude:

TEAM NUDE: PINK

Pink looked like, well, herself. Her style hasn’t changed much since she swapped pink locks for blonde ones oh-so many years ago, but that’s cool, she has a thing that works and she’s stickin’ to it. Her smoky eye makeup looks great and her lipstick color was spot on. It’s really hard to find the right lip color for the tan skin/white-blond hair combination without looking freakish, so it’s best to go with some version of your natural lip color with a little gloss. This is exactly what Pink did and it looks great.

Stars: They're just like us, right? Well kind of. They keep their wallets in their pockets and their lipstick in their clutches, and they get excited to dress up for big nights in pretty clothes, just like us, yes. They also get custom bejeweled jumpsuits made for them by designers like Pucci (that's right, Rita Ora, we're looking at you, and you. Look. AMAZING.), so, you know, not so much always. Our main girl, Teen Wolf's Holland Roden got to the bottom of both the lavish and the ordinary, getting the low down on what some of our fave celebs--from Miley Cyrus to The Wanted, Nicki Minaj, and many more--were wearing and what they were carrying in their pockets. We also HAVE to mention the beyond adorable moment when Colton Haynes mock-proposed to Holland. Were we seeing a glimpse into the future? Ugh, we hope so (alternately, marry us, Colton?). Speaking of cute, MTV's newest addition, Snooki's son Lorenzo and his mama meatball stayed home from the festivities (although they did send a shoutout to their many fans) but the many of their fellow Jersey Shore-dwellers were on hand to chat it up on the carpet. Holland also got the first confirmation that lovebirds Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are indeed expecting their first child in the coming months! There had been much speculation that the couple was expecting, but no formal confirmation until tonight. The VMAs are the hottest place to announce you're preggers, lest we forget our first introduction to Blue Ivy, so it's no surprise. We wonder who it will be next year...Ok enough letting your mind run wild with speculation. Rita Ora Or Nicki Minaj: Who Wore A Sheer Bodysuit Best On The VMA Red Carpet?

Here's the thing—celebs REALLY love sheer bodysuits (see: Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez) and on tonight's VMA red carpet, some of our favorite ladies kept with tradition. Rita Ora and Nicki Minaj both opted for sleek, curve-hugging onesies that had a hint (OK, a buttload) of sex appeal. Rita sported a completely blinged-out custom Pucci number that left us totally speechless. I mean, first off—that is a one deep V, friends. Her sheer black panel extended all the way past her belly button and the rest of her body was totally covered up in sparkly adornments. She paired her show-stopping ensemble with black Christian Louboutin pumps, Cartier jewelry and a matching clutch. She kept her beauty look equally as glam by sporting retro blonde waves with deep burgundy lip and cat eyeliner.
