Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed at The Cinema Society and DKNY's screening of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 1" in New York.

Happy Twilight: Breaking Dawn—Part 1 Day! If you didn't catch a midnight screening last night, we're assuming you've cleared your schedule to see it multiple times today. Aside from all of the wedding/honeymoon/magical vamp baby action, we particularly loved seeing Alice (Ashley Greene) and Rosalie (Nikki Reed) getting more screen time this time around. It's also exciting to see both actresses stepping out more in support of the movie. Both were recently in New York for a Breaking Dawn screening hosted by The Cinema Society and DKNY, and they both wore similar ensembles. Were these dual cutout dresses planned?

Emma Stone, Blake Lively, and Olivia Wilde at the MoMA film benefit in New York.

It's easy to draw the loveliest of lovelies in their most feminine frocks. Just have Karl Lagerfeld throw a party at the Museum of Modern Art in honor of Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodovar, add a wall of 25,000 red roses, and then outfit practically every girl in Chanel. That's just what happened on an unusually temperate NYC eve, and we don't know which was blooming more beatifically, the ladies of Young Hollywood in their Chanel best or the actual aforementioned wall of blooms. Judging from above, we're sure the answer is obvious! Hollywood's reigning ingenue, Miss Emma Stone wore a ladylike, to-the-floor, black and white Chanel couture gown from the spring 2009 season. Karl's current favorite muse, Blake Lively, also wore Chanel couture but from the 2011 fall collection. We think this shade of slate silver and peplum of feathers make her look very grown up, indeed. (Where are the mile-long legs and mega décolletage, Miss Van der Woodsen? You look classy, lady!) Actress Olivia Wilde is a red carpet style-slaying super STAH, and this cap-sleeved gray and white patterned dress with a dramatic plunging neckline is somewhat subdued for her typical YOWZA ready-to-wear taste. Still, its breezy elegance seems perfect for a wedding or evening cocktail event. Who else turned it OUT?

Chloe Moretz, Olivia Wilde, and Amanda Seyfried attend the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards.
Photo: Getty Images

As one would expect from an event thrown by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) AND Vogue magazine, the young Hollywood starlets showed up in droves, all clad in their finest threads. While no one trend or design house prevailed on the red carpet (though Joseph Altuzarra, Pamela Love, and Creatures of the Wind did all score high honors, cash prizes, and über-valuable business mentorships), the pretty young thangs turned it out in a display of what the fashion community's best and brightest have to offer.

Even at her green age, Chloë Moretz proves she has the style chops to run the same circles as her older counterparts in this near floor-length printed Suno frock and super interesting, lattice-y, macrame-looking heels. Styled in an easy middle part updo and a bold red lip, Chloe is a total boho-chic beauty. Olivia Wilde is one of those ladies that could honestly look drop dead in anything, but that doesn't stop her from turning it out on the red carpet. Olivia gracefully toes the line between sexy and sweet with this keyholed-yet-full-skirted Cushnie et Ochs paired with a simple pointy pump, effortless waves, and an elegant cat eye. Amanda Seyfried takes some risks in this feathered dress by Prabal Gurung and intricately laced Nicholas Kirkwood shoes, but thanks to appropriate styling and under accesorizing, Amanda's look is ballerina-inspired without appearing to be ripped straight from the next production of Swan Lake.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner at the premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 1" in Los Angeles.
Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images

Happy BREAKING DAWN week!!! Yes, lords and ladies, the moment has finally arrived, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 1 is officially HERE. We actually get to see the wedding, the DRESS, the honeymoon, and (*spoiler alert*) all of the CRAY BABY magic that is the first of the final installment to this triumphant love story, and we get to see it in t-minus 3 DAYS and counting (a little less if you have midnight showing tickets). If you're like us, then you've been glued to the 'puter since last night, ingesting all of the style wonderment that comes along with the cacophonous juggernaut that is a Twilight premiere. Not only have fans been camping out in "tent city" since last Wednesday, the speculation on what each star will wear has been high.

Will Kristen Stewart choose something short and angular? (Nope, she wore a long and sparkly J. Mendel spring 2012 runway gown slit wayyyy up the leg.) Will Ashley Greene stun in Donna Karan since she's the face of the brand? (Yep, she wore custom-made Donna.) What about the dudes? Robert Pattinson wore a super tailored gray Gucci suit while Taylor Lautner style-slayed it in Alexander McQueen. But was there anything unusual? (Ohhhhh, YES, but we'll get to that in a moment.) If there was one trend of the night, it was long and lovely gowns on zee ladies. MTV News captured it all live from the black carpet, and we're here to break it DOWN...

Demi Lovato at the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards.
Photo: Getty Images

What the WHAT?! We talk about Demi Lovato's goddess-like quality on the reg here at MTV Style—her waist-length mermaid tendrils, her impenetrable beauty game, her epitomization of boho chic—but never have we been SO taken aback with truly breathtaking AWE than when our eyes fell upon Miss Lovato looking hella glamourous on the red carpet of last night's Latin Grammy Awards. I meannnn, how can you not be stopped dead in your tracks by that glossy scarlet pout, neckline cut all the way to there, and aaaaall that glowing SKIN. *raises single emphatic palm of approval* YES.

Lady Gaga in Alexander McQueen at the Bambi Awards in Germany.
Photo: Getty Images

There's nothing like ending the week with the triumphant sartorial cheer of Lady Gaga wearing something GLORIOUS. Yes, little monsters, the queen of the red carpet showed up to the Bambi Awards (aka "Germany's most important media prize ceremony") wearing a jaw-dropping Alexander McQueen gown that made her look like an elegantly wayward swan drenched in gold (her poor pet deer fossilized forever in her precious metal embrace). To get right to the point, this is a MAYJAH style moment. It was classic McQueen and evoked his late muse Isabella Blow. Not only is this dress matted to Gaga's body like wet 24 karat feathers, it swirls up and around her face and then COVERS HER ENTIRE HEAD. But just what is it made out of? Are these flowers, leaves, or just random frippery? Or, WAIT. Is this headdress constructed out of dozens of expensive looking SUNFLOWER SEEDS?

Emma Stone, Lea Michele, and Jennifer Lopez at the "Glamour" Women of the Year Awards.
Photo: Getty Images

Last night's Glamour Women of the Year Awards drew in an outright PARADE of dramatic floor-length gowns fluttering down the red carpet. Not to discount the cocktail lengths or the token jumpsuit (we see you, Chelsea Handler), but with so much glittering femininity streaming past our oculars, we can't help but be hypnotized by the old-school glamour (haHA! *wink*) factor of a silhouette draped in miles of luxurious satins and chiffons. Of the ladies in attendance, our personal faves of the night were the ever-reliable Emma Stone, beautifully regal Lea Michele, and card-carrying glamazon Jennifer Lopez.

Evan Rachel Wood, Camilla Belle, and Zoe Saldana attend LACMA's Art + Film Gala Honoring Clint Eastwood And John Baldessari at LACMA on Nov. 5, 2011, in Los Angeles, California.

Stylehawks 'round the world look forward to New York's Met Gala every year as a landmark fashion event. Now, with the advent of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Art + Film Gala, museum director Michael Govan hopes the City of Angels will have its own soiree to rival the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute ball. Judging from the star-studded and notably well-heeled attendees at last night's LACMA Gala, Govan's dreams may be coming true, as fashionable celebs like Evan Rachel Wood, Camilla Belle, and Zoe Saldana turned it out for the affair.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber each perform onstage during the 2011 MTV EMA on Nov. 6, 2011.
Photo: Getty Images

Despite the tumultuous relationship-testing events of late, we here at MTV Style have the utmost faith in America's wonder couple-behbehs: Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. Though not photographed together AT the 2011 EMA last night in Belfast, they were seen holding hands en route to a dinner after the big event for which Sel played host. Biebs let his girl shine on her own on her big day, as the duo played up their divergent personal styles more rather than going H.A.M. with the matchy-poo-ness à la black on black on black at the 2011 VMAs. Both performers in their own right, Selena and Justin both took to the stage during the award show, each clad in signature personal steeze.

As is customary, nay expected of Miss Gomez, girl was decked out in sequins to the eyeballs. Sel wore the long-sleeved shimmering purple number, in all its hot pants glory, with a pair of deliciously suede black knee-high boots and her hair in a soft half-up-half-down 'do—a kind of Nancy Sinatra meets glam-rock look that we're totally loving. The Biebs, on the other hand, went way futuristic with bold white details, hard lines, and more of that leather badassery we're seeing him wield lately. Hardly a stationary performer, Bieber's performance ensemble was optimized for movement with easy fit separates like black jeans, sneakers, and this seemingly Keith Haring-inspired jacket.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi at the 2011 MTV EMA on Nov. 6, 2011, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Photo: Getty Images

It's SNOOKI in IRELAND, y'all! She's just chillin' on the pink carpet at the 2011 EMA with NEW HAIRRRR, ca-ching bling, and all kinds of snazzy bedazzling while, most likely, waiting for her mega-tanned, juiced-up, leprechaun meatball prince to carry her away to a (chilly) Irish beach. All we have to say is, you can take the girl outta Jersey, but you can't take the Jersey Shore outta the girl. Snooks was all about a super-sliiiim fitting look to show off her bodacious bod and perma-tan, but that's not just what captured our attention. It was this new, CHIC, side-swept hairDO and inverted, intricate mani. What exactly IS painted on her nails?
