We're feeling blue this week, but not in the sad, depressed kind of way. The brightly colored pumps that stars like Nicki Minaj, Diane Kruger, Brooklyn Decker, and Vanessa Hudgens have been wearing actually make us really happy. We loved Nicki's funky sky blue Walter Steiger platforms that matched her graffiti leggings. Meanwhile, Diane's turquoise Prada sandals really popped next to her fiery orange dress. We also adored the hues of Brooklyn's aqua-colored suede Christian Louboutin pumps and Vanessa's cobalt peep-toe heels. These pumps really put some extra pep in celebs' steps, but which one has you singing the blues?

Unless you're a model for The Blonds, there is such a thing as TOO MUCH sparkle. Which is probably why so many stars swapped all the extra blingy baubles for a pair of sparkling heels this week on the red carpet. Both Jennifer Lopez and Kelly Osbourne dazzled at the Grammys this week, with Jennifer wearing spiked and studded shiny metallic Christian Louboutin platforms and Kelly posing in silver crystal encrusted Alexander McQueen peep-toes. We also loved the glittery Jerome Rousseau sandals that Sophia Bush wore to an event in Los Angeles this week—they were the perfect complement to her LBD. All of these sparkly silver shoes stand out (OBVIOUSLY), but which one is your favorite?

It was a chic week for fine footwear. Stars stepped out in classic satiny shoes that channeled Old Hollywood glamour. We loved the deep pink hue of Natalie Portman's silky Charles David platforms, and Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham's electric purple La Rare sandals made as strong a statement as her incredible jewelry. We also adored how Glee girl Dianna Agron gave her nude frock a pop of color with ruby red satin Brian Atwood pumps. All of these heels are seriously smooth, but which one is your favorite?

Hailee Steinfeld at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in Santa Barbara, Calif., on Feb. 4.

The test of a true fashionista is if she can seamlessly mix high-end pieces with cute cheapies. By our measure, True Grit breakout star Hailee Steinfeld passed with flying colors while accepting the Virtuoso Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in Santa Barbara on Feb. 4. Just check out how this 14-year-old teamed a cream lace Alberta Ferretti cocktail dress with a rosette-covered clutch from H&M and a pair of candy apple red Aldo platform pumps ($59.98, Be honest; If we hadn't of told you, how many of you would have been able to pick out the high-end from the low-end in Hailee's outfit? Anyone...anyone?

+ Would you mix and match high and low end pieces like Hailee?

Rachel Bilson in Maison Martin Margiela on Feb. 2, Anne Hathaway in Casadei on Jan. 28, and Louise Roe in Giuseppe Zanotti on Jan. 27.

The stars shone bright—and tall—in Hollywood this week, wearing sky high wedges. These hidden heel platforms continue to be popular with celebs (maybe they're not quite ready for the flat form?), and when they're as adorable as these, we can see why they're such a shoe staple. We loved how Rachel Bilson glammed up a Los Angeles outing in nude open toe Maison Martin Margiela wedges, and Anne Hathaway's cork Casadei platforms really complemented her brown and navy ensemble. We were also reminded that the leopard craze is still going strong when we saw Louise Roe hit the red carpet in her Guiseppe Zanotti leopard print bootie wedges. We love the look of all of these stacked steppers, but which wedge would you wear?

Keira Knightley outside the Comedy Theatre on Jan. 24, 25, and 31 in London.
Photo: FilmMagic

Keira Knightley proved that you don't have to rock a brand spankin' new outfit every day of the week to look good. Last week, the British beauty (who is performing in "The Children's Hour" at the Comedy Theatre in London) mixed and matched pieces to create three perfecto street style looks. On Jan. 24, the actress wore a beige Burberry coat with skinny jeans and beige Acne "Pistol" booties. The very next day, Keira wore the same denim pants, but chose an olive green topper with pretty gold buttons and an exaggerated collar. And on Jan. 31, she brought back those cute beige booties, which she paired with a cropped black jacket, a blue knit dress and a slouchy gray Topshop snood. We loved how the actress sneakily repeated classic pieces while still switching up just enough elements to create a unique outfit. But what do you think?

+ Do you like Keira Knightley's recycled ensembles?

Move over, Cinderella! Nicki Minaj is the new princess in town. In her video, "Moment 4 Life," which debuted last night, Nicki played the role of queen for a day, complete with a fairy godmother, sparkly slippers, crowns, fancy ball gowns and her very own sharp-dressed prince (played by rapper Drake). Once upon a time...

Wearing an airy pink ball gown, wings, and a blingy crown, Nicki Minaj also played "Fairy Godmother" (aka "Martha," Nicki's real-life alter ego)—British accent and all.

This wouldn't be a Cinderella story without the infamous magic slippers. In Nicki's case, they were Christian Louboutin diamond-encrusted pumps. You definitely wouldn't want to leave one of those behind for the prince to find.

"Put it on everything that I will retire with the ring," Nicki says in "Moment 4 Life." This rock of a ring?

The rapper donned a baby blue chiffon goddess gown with crystal accents from The Blonds Spring 2011 collection, with a pretty dripping headpiece.

Drake (er, the prince) looked suave in all-black everything, which he teamed with a single gold chain necklace and some serious swagger.

This army-green studded minidress with a super-long puffy train gave Nicki (er, the princess) an exotic, bourgeois vibe.

Nicki accessorized the bustier-inspired dress with a pale pink wig, green tights, and gold-studded booties.

Nicki broke up her triple-pink makeup look (pink polish, pink lipstick and pink hair) with eye candy—a swipe of turquoise liner on her bottom lash line. Fierce!

We know it's a fairytale, but Drake (in a suit-and-bow-tie combo) and Nicki (in a gorge white ball gown) look so freakin' cute together.

Olivia Wilde and Diane Kruger in Gucci on Jan. 25, Heidi Klum in Christian Louboutin on Jan. 24.

The stars went for Old Hollywood glamour on the red carpet this week, opting for classic black shoes with gold trimmings. Both Olivia Wilde and Diane Kruger stepped out in seriously sleek stilettos at the Vogue Paris dinner honoring Gucci during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Olivia went for high drama in strappy leather and velvet heels, and Diane kept it minimal but chic in her slinky ankle strap sandals, both by the feted design house. Meanwhile, Heidi Klum's gold accented velour peep toes by Christian Louboutin, which she wore to InStyle's Best Of British Talent Party in London, managed to stand out even next to her feathered sparkly dress. Honestly, you can't go wrong with a black and gold shoe, but which pair could you see yourself stepping out in?

Olivia Wilde in Christian Louboutin on Jan. 16, Keri Hilson in Alana Hale and Diane Kruger in Jimmy Choo on Jan. 14.

Awards season is in full swing, and while gowns will always be the centerpiece, fabulous footwear is having a serious red carpet moment. We were awestruck by Olivia Wilde's princess dress at the Golden Globes, but it was her gold spiked and studded Christian Louboutin booties hiding underneath that gave the biggest style surprise. And though Keri Hilson's LBD at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards was all kinds of adorable, her custom-made gold and pearl-encrusted peep-toes by Alana Hale knocked us off our feet. Likewise, we only had eyes for Diane Kruger's incredible Jimmy Choo studded pink, red, black and croc-print platforms, even next to her sparkly sheath. All of these shoes were OTT (over the top) stylish, but which pair will you remember months from now?

Models on the runways for the Derek Lam, Prada, and Vena Cava Spring 2011 shows.
Photo: Getty Images

Here's a good one: What do you get when you mate a ballet flat with a platform? A "flatform"! Hahaha...nudge-nudge...wink-wink. All joking aside, flatforms just might be the next big thing in footwear. In fact, recently reported that dozens of models were seen stomping down many a Spring 2011 runway, including Derek Lam's, Vena Cava's, and Prada's, wearing flatforms. But, other than singer (and known fashion risk-taker) Robyn, who was spotted performing in flatforms last year, there haven't been many celebs slipping their tootsies into this tall order footwear. Why not? Who knows. Since they're flat, they're super-comfy; they're versatile enough to be worn with anything from corduroys to flippy skirts; and they make the vertically challenged (us!) appear taller. What's not to love?
