Shhh, you hear that? It's your shoe closet BEGGING you to add more printed sneaks to your collection. OK, maybe that's not what's really happening here, but you don't need to tell anyone that! Consider it all the excuse neccessary to join us in obsesssing over NIKEiD's new Liberty London goods. The sneaker giant has teamed up with the U.K. heritage label yet again on a line of flower power shoes—and while we've already called them out for kicking it up (heh) on the technology front with their sneaker wedges, this collab marks a very personal twist. NIKEiD, the special section of the brand that allows you to customize the shoes, has added Liberty's pretty florals to its arsenal of patterns and colors.
Lil Wayne at his SPECTRE by Supra sneaker launch.

We've been chronicling the growth of Lil Wayne's shoe collaboration with SUPRA sneakers from the first rumored mumblings of a partnership to the brand confirmation and grand reveal of the first protoypes at Project MAGIC last summer. Now, we're just a few short days until the May 18 launch of SPECTRE by SUPRA (the official name of Wayne's collaborative sneaker line) and the introduction of Weezy's "Chimera" kicks to the masses. Wayne and a hefty YMCMB contingent celebrated the impending launch with a major Miami event replete with a half-pipe and—erm—tattoos!
Katy Perry attends a pre-Mat Ball screening of 'The Great Gatsby' in New York on May 5.

Guys, Katy Perry is taking the whole wearing florals for spring thing VERY seriously. Like, just in the past couple weeks alone, she's worn a floral dress (with a matching headpiece), a floral maxi skirt, a mixed print floral frock AND a floor-length floral gown. And then—just when we thought she had enough of the flowery stuff—she arrived at The Great Gatsby Pre-Met Ball screening yesterday wearing, you guessed it, florals. But we immediately noticed something different about this ensemble—she wasn't just rocking a flowery dress or top, her ENTIRE. OUTFIT. was inspired by blossoms. Don't believe us? We broke down every piece from her ensemble below.
It's okay to be rubbing your eyes, double-taking at your computer screen right now. Squinting and general disbelief are all natural reactions to this jaw-droppingly accurate miniature replica of Kanye West's smash sneaker release of last summer: the Air Yeezy 2. From the moment we first spotted this lilliputian kick pendant (hat tip to our friends at Four Pins for the look), we knew we had to have it. Not just because of the novelty of having a tiny Yeezy shoe hanging from your neck (but definitely that, too), but ALSO because the attention to detail here is seeeeeriously amazing. The ridged heel? The contrast inner? The glow-in-the-dark sole? THE SNAKESKIN PANEL WITH THE EMBOSSED SWOOSH? Way to keep it one hundred, MERYSTACHE (the Etsy retailer/genius behind the sneakerhead bauble). Nailed it. And the best part is: there are MORE.
Pixelated Winged sneakers from Jeremy Scott for Adidas.

We all know about life's great combos. There's peanut butter and chocolate. Black and gold. Bill Nye and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Summer and Earth. And of course, Adidas and Jeremy Scott.
When Adidas launched their first collection with the whimsical designer back in 2008, the partnership was an instant sensation. The very point of Adidas Originals is for the brand to team up with friends and let their freak flag fly, so who better to add a boost of eccentricity to Adidas classics than the lovable quirkmeister himself, Jeremy Scott?! Since then we've seen his winged high tops on everyone from Lil Wayne to Blue Ivy to maybe even your sassy grandmother. And count Rebel Wilson as a fan of his more cuddly creations— she recently wore his Pink Poodles on Letterman. What we're getting at here is that people love the Adidas x Jeremy Scott collections, and they've been crazy bestsellers for the brand. Because wings on shoes, that's why.
Okay, so the collision of music and fashion is anything but rare (if it were, I'm pretty sure MTV Style wouldn't exist or would at least update waaaaay less), but a three-pronged clash of music, fashion, and SPORTS?? File that unicorn of a situation under #veryrare. Enter A$AP Rocky starring and rhyming in a brand new commercial for adidas Basketball's Crazyquick sneakers—a unique moment in time which hits every vertical of the aforementioned anomaly. But he's not the only star—the campaign short also features three of the best and brightest point guards the youngest generation of NBA players has to offer: the Wizards' John Wall, the Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard, and the Sixers' Jrue Holiday.
Selena Gomez in NYC on April 24, Rihanna on a plane on April 20, and Rita Ora in London on Feb. 16.

Hi, world! Remember gladiator sandals? Heh, well, they're back. In case you forgot, between 2005 and 2008 these strappy shoes we ALL the rage. Whether they were low-top, high-top, studded, tasseled, bedazzled or anything in between, everyone wanted their hands (er, feet?) on a pair. Eventually, they made their way out of the fashion world, and we haven't looked back—until now. We can't stop spotting celebrities wearing the strappy, Roman-inspired shoes as of late (see: Selena Gomez, Rihanna, and Rita Ora), and we need to discuss. I mean, we have to admit we're not too surprised at their comeback considering they were all over the Spring/Summer 2013 runways—everyone from Alexander Wang to Proenza Schouler decked out their models in knee-high gladiator shoes. The only difference is that this time around we're supposed to refer to them as "cutaway boots." Got it? Got it.
Prom is one of the only GREAT excuses a girl gets in high school to get dressed to the nines (or whatever the lady-equivalent is of "suit and tie s***"). HOWEVER, it is also a night of dancing, standing, dancing, mobilizing from house to dinner to party to after-party, and more dancing. Point being, you're going to be on your feet. A lot. To this effect, we're taking a beat to look out for your podiatric health. We understand that some of you may be married to the idea of sticking it out in your gam-glorifying high-heeled best for your special night, but just in case you're willing to venture outside of the stiletto-shaped box, we've rounded up some of the cutest, less-ankle-breaking styles the e-retail world has to offer. PLUS, a general idea of the kind of dress that works with each shoe silhouette! *dusts shoulders off* We know. You're welcome.
Switch out your high heels for oxfords this prom!
Photo: ModCloth/UrbanOutfitters/Nasty Gal
Oxfords are HUGE this season in so many prints, styles, and colorways, making now the perfect time to implement them into all your wardrobe needs. Including prom! Since there's an unmistakable menswear-ness to oxfords, we like the idea of pairing them with a hyper-feminine prom dress with a big fluffy skirt. A short one, at that. All the better to show off your boundary-pushing kicks.

Beyonce will wear Stuart Weitzman shoes on The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

Beyonce's The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour kicks off this evening in Belgrade, Serbia. That meeeeans, we should (hopefully) get our very first REAL look at her concert wardrobe by the end of the night. *crosses fingers tight enough to cut off circulation* Over the past few months, we've been teased with an opulent announcement video with Thierry Mugler Haute Couture costuming that hearkened back to Bey's I Am...World Tour togs. We've been taunted with news that both Julien Macdonald AND Dsquared2 would contribute stage swaddlings for Mrs. Carter (but without any example sketches). And now, we've gotten word that even King Bey's feet will be custom outfitted for the tour thanks to Stuart Weitzman.
Hey guys! Yes, we're talking to YOU. We all know that prom is a special occasion, a formal event, something you'll remember forever, yadda yadda yadda, but who says you can't be comfortable all night long while you're at it? Proving that prom doesn't have to be stuffy, this week we showed all the dudes out there how to look slick minus the traditional tuxedo action, and now we're taking things a step further (heh) with the very best sneakers to wear to prom. Believe it or not, your favorite casual brands CAN work with formalwear—it's just a matter of how you style 'em. Hey, if Frank Ocean, Logan Lerman, and Russell Westbrook can do it, why can't you? So get the lowdown below... you can thank us later.
