Charli XCX Topshop

We're very (very!) openly obsessed with UK-based singer Charli XCX—not only because of her dark (and catchy!) synth-pop anthems, but because her Spice Girls-meets-Wednesday Addams style is to die for. Just when we thought her look was WAY too cool to end up in our little ol' closets, Topshop blew our minds with a totally Charli-inspired photo shoot decked out in all their clothes. Meaning, yes, WE CAN ACTUALLY BUY THE GLORIOUS OUTFITS YOU SEE ABOVE. *cries*

Wildfox Clueless

Wildfox channels 'Clueless' for Spring 2013.
Photo:via Wildfox

We love Wildfox Couture (duh). We love Clueless (even bigger duh). So when we heard firsthand a few months ago that the L.A. label, beloved by Beyonce and Katy alike, is taking cues from Amy Heckling's iconic '95 flick for its newest collection, we had a really, really tough time keeping this a secret. Luckily the cat's out of the bag, since the Wildfox girls have just unveiled the "Kids In America" Spring 2013 lookbook! And spoiler alert- it's cute. With Cher, Dionne, and yes, even Tai as muses, how could it not be? Seriously, just LOOK at the spot on re-enactment above. The '90s are back, people! But instead of Alaia, this time around it's all about Wildfox.

Rita Ora ASOS

When Rita Ora covered ASOS magazine way back in September, we obsessed over the singer's amazing studded denim jacket— and mourned the fact that we couldn't score her custom topper for ourselves. Clearly we weren't the only ones bummed out, because thanks to ALL of the requests to buy the one-of-a-kind number, ASOS has officially added it to its stock! And while the statement piece is definitely not cheap at $351, just think of it as an all-inclusive deal to alleviate some buyer's guilt (trust us, it'll make you feel better!). After all, the bomber is a complete mishmash of materials, patterns, and colors. With silver and gold spikes, jeweled details, and a satin paneled artsy print, it's basically every item in our closet crammed into one signature item. How's THAT for more bang for your buck?!

URB Melting Tights

Would you wear melting tights?
Photo: Courtesy of URB

Whether you're confused, disgusted, or whipping out your credit card at first sight of these melting tights, all reactions to this one-of-a-kind drippy legwear are right. Mostly because you're probably battling them ALL simultaneously. We know we are. The head-turning hosiery comes into existence thanks to Germany's URB (which, aside from the tights in question, is also responsible for some pretty stellar fashion-forward menswear if you're interested). Mysterious dripping and/or melting on any body part is guaranteed to raise eyebrows and not always for the best reasons (Christina Aguilera can tell you first-hand :( ), so it's hard to rationalize why someone would want this. And yet...we sort of do? *ducks for cover, deploys hairspray cloud forcefield*

Miley Cyrus

First Beyonce, now Miley?! We said it once and we'll say it again: faux fashion tops are definitely having a moment. And don't think it's stopping in 2012, either...months after this clever repurposing of fashion brands first crossed our radar, the trend is still going strong. Just take Miley Cyrus, who rang in the holiday season with her family and pets, decked out in a sweatshirt that paid homage to both designer fashion AND furry friends. We all know that the pop star and actress is a total animal lover, so we can't really think of a better model for the Brian Lichtenberg "Feline Meow" sweatshirt, can you? Brilliant!

Whether you'll be sipping fizzy drinks under city lights, setting off sparklers at a beachside bonfire, or huddling up with a cozy group of friends in the great indoors, your New Year's Eve is likely to be a little chilly (to say the very least). Relatively speaking, if you're out, staying up past midnight in December (going on January), the temperature outside is just going to be colder than it is during your normal hours of operation — this is true no matter what coast, timezone, or line of latitude you'll occupy this New Year's Eve.

Nothing against the tried and true anorak or puffer coat you've been working all winter thus far, but this is a special night. Thus, you'll need a stylish coat or jacket to ring in 2013 looking cool and staying warm. Since the big night is right around the corner (and retailers are ALREADY starting to stock their shelves with spring collections *sound of price guns attaching winter clearance tags*), we've rounded up a few of our favorite outerwear options available right now. From luxurious faux furs and mod monochromatics to '90s-channeling downtown toppers and comfy coats fit for the Oregon Trail, there's something for almost every personal steez. Happy shopping!

New Year's Eve Coats & Jackets

A big furry coat is a great way to make a statement with outerwear — just ask Macklemore — which makes it kind of the perfect New Year's Eve jacket. Better yet, finding fashionable faux furs is easier than ever whether your taste is classic like this MINKPINK "Cruella Faux Fur Coat" from Urban Outfitters ($190.00), über-trendy like this "Ombre Faux Mongolian Fur Coat" from Topshop ($178.00), or funky like this "Longline Animal Fur Coat" with a cheetah print from ASOS ($140.72).

OMG! New Year's Eve is just around the corner, and you need to swipe up a hot new dress to ring in 2013 ASAP. Well friends, we've got you covered (literally). Whether you're going to a chill house get-together or over-the-top warehouse party, we have a bajallion stellar last-minute options that'll be sure to stun no matter what the occasion.

New Year's Eve Dresses

First up: we have a set a frocks for the ladies willing to show a little bit of skin. Me-ow! For the ultimate girly-girl, we're OB-SESSED with this totally glam ASOS pale pink embellished layered tulle dress ($90). It fits super snug at the waist, and then flares out for an oh-so-feminine silhouette. The surprise is the back of the dress, though, which is totally open! If you want to go ALL OUT this NYE, we recommend the ombre teal-to-copper Topshop metallic dress with cut-outs on the front and back of the frock ($360). All eyes will be on you! Another dress we love oh-so-much is this jewel-encrusted ASOS shift ($80). The super simple black dress is covered in multicolored gems and sequins for a bold but beautiful look that can be finished off with a killer pair of heels, a high bun, and not much else!

Lil Wayne, Trukfit

A sneak peek of Trukfit's Spring 2013 collection.
Photo: Kelci Shipley/MTV

Listen, we know you're probably STILL eyeballs deep in holiday shopping right now, and your bank account is weeping uncontrollably with every new swipe of your credit card, but just remember: there's a light at the end of the tunnel. The light's called "Spring/Summer 2013," and thanks to our friends at Lil Wayne's breakout streetwear line, Trukfit, we have more than enough ocular helpings of sneak peek neon and prints and skater steez to tide us over until this collection hits stores in January. We got a special tour of Trukfit's New York headquarters courtesy of Trukfit's VP of Merchandising, Frances Wong, Marketing Manager, Mike Morris, and their publicist, Sarah Cunningham, all of whom showed us what's on the horizon for future seasons of Weezy's line. Also, they dropped some serious industry knowledge on how Wanye's ideas become actual, physical clothes, and we nerded out, hanging on every word.

House of Holland's new Pom Family t-shirts.
Photo: Courtesy of House of Holland

Get ready to reevaluate that stash of t-shirts taking up space in your closet, because Henry Holland is changing the way we wear our plain white tees. The House of Holland designer has just rolled out his Pom Family collection of tops and sweatshirts, each of which comes stamped with his adorably quirky "pom pom people" designs. They're cute enough to wear on their own, but because it's Henry Holland we're talking about and he never does anything halfway, these cotton crewnecks ALSO possess superpowers— dancing characters. Sure, we were skeptical at first too, until we saw this video, which showcases the designs rocking out to an oddly appropriate Missy Elliot soundtrack. All you have to do is download the app from the iTunes store, hold your phone or iPad up to the t-shirts, and BOOM! Insta dance party. Watch the video below, and then shop the PomPom Collection here...because trust us, you're going to want to.

Elastic Strap Leggings

Would you wear these elastic strap leggings?
Photo: Courtesy of 80's Purple

Let me start by saying that I, truthfully, don't have anything against leggings. I know they cause a lot of spikes in blood pressure when people apply them as equal substitutes for pants, and sure, that's a bad look. But pair them with a way oversized button-up or a boyfriend sweater? I say that's fair game. Leggings are just too comfortable to be completely outcast as a class of garment for the fashionable public. This particular pair of leggings, on the other hand, we're open to debating. We recently stumbled on these elastic strap leggings from Anzevino & Florence while perusing the digital racks of 80's Purple and have been scratching our heads about them ever since.
