Viktor & Rolf Makes Extremely High-Waisted Pants

It's an undeniable fact that waistbands are rising from their low-rise home of the early aughts. Where scant three years ago the term "high-waisted" was more frequently referred to as a kind of "Mom-ish" silhouette, the more modest line has since become a kind of norm. As is the cycle of fashion, as soon as you start becoming comfortable with something, at least one designer is ready to shake it up, and perhaps the Viktor & Rolf brand believes it is that such time for high-waisted pants. Billed as a "top belt jumpsuit," this Viktor & Rolf creation looks suspiciously like the MOST extreme pair of high-waisted pants on the planet.

Ever since we spotted Taylor Swift on MTV Buzzworthy in her too-cute-for-life nautical striped dress, we've been DYING trying to figure out where she got it from. (Do you know how tired your fingers can get from all that endless scrolling on Modcloth's website? SO TIRED.) When we became weak and sunken into the utmost despair, we turned to our last fail-safe option—Twitter. We asked our go-to dress ID gal, Ms. Courtney Justice, and, like pure MAGIC, she came back with a solid answer. Taylor Swift is wearing an Ipanema navy and white striped dress available at GormanShop.com RIGHT NOW for $169. *cries in happiness* She paired her summery frock with a red and brown Lauren Merkin crossbody bag, classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses, and vintage-y red Frye slingback heels. She matched her lips to her shoes (which we love!) and pulled back her hair into a no-nonsense ponytail. We could see a million ways and one ways to wear this fun wardrobe staple all year long, plus the modest hem gives you extra room to be breezy and comfortable on hot summer days. Lulu Guinness Collabs With UNIQLO For Limited Edition Tees

In case you didn't hear, one of the most DARLING collabs to date just hit stores yesterday: Lulu Guinness designed a limited-edition collection of tees for UNIQLO. Yes, it's true, the saucy British designer behind the oh-so-famous lip clutch made vintage-inspired tees we can actually afford. The mostly black, red, and white T-shirts all come in just under $20 (YUS) and feature everything from sparkly cat eye sunglasses to just, well, straight-up cats. To celebrate the launch of the collection, UNIQLO created a Facebook and Twitter contest to find out who has the most unusual/sweetest/most hilarious location for their first kiss. The winner will receive a tee from the collab AND *GASP* the coveted Red Perspex Lips Clutch. We see it time and time again: stars wearing the visages of other stars across their t-shirts. Pauly D wore a Nicki Minaj tee. Willow Smith sported TWO crewneck homages to her Poppa Will in one week. And let's not forget Selena Gomez's stan-tastic Taylor Swift concert shirt. It's this brain-petting "They're just like us!" fashion moment that reminds us that celebrities aren't contained in a content-pumping vaccuum and are totally fans of other artists to the point where they would gladly/humbly parade their FACE across their own chest. Latest up at bat in the t-shirt homage game is Demi Lovato wearing a tank screenprinted with Rihanna's face in the latest issue of Fabulous Magazine.

We don't know about all of you, but here at MTV Style, we're on constant Justin Bieber watch. From his latest magazine spreads to finding his visage on a t-shirt, our eyes are peeled 24/7 on all avenues for any new glimmer of The Biebs the day might bring. Justin was spotted filming last minute scenes for his "Boyfriend" music video in L.A. this weekend and getting cozy with a Selena look-alike no less, but faster than you can bat an eye, the Prince of Pop has made his way across the pond to London. We all know that Justin makes it a point to fly in style, and this time was no exception, rocking a summer ensemble with bright, bold graphics and pops of yellow and hot pink.

Spring is definitely in the air. While we're still experiencing our fair share of April showers, there are enough sunny-skied temperate days to remind us that we're on a steady transitional path onto sun-soaked shoulders, freshly cut grass, and balmy evenings. With the onset of Spring comes seasonal twitterpation, merry-making and of course, PROM. We all know Camille La Vie/Group USA and David's Bridal will be stocked for the annual formal function, but it looks like UK retail giant Topshop is getting in on the Prom action, too.

Get Rihanna's Red And Black Garter Tights!

Disclaimer: We're obsessed with garter tights. Ever since we saw Jessie J rockin' them in that House of Holland/Pretty Polly shoot, we've continually been on the lookout for any cool suspender nylons that come our way. Last night Rihanna celebrated a night out in Hollywood wearing a thigh-high slit white dress with some red garter tights peeking out. We IMMEDIATELY had to find out where to purchase these bad boys, and we found them on Dillards.com for only $25! *high five* She even tweeted an up-close pic of the garters on her thighs with the caption "#PinUpS***" to show off her vintage-inspired design. Unlike other faux-suspender tights we've seen, we love that these have a bold pop of color! The UK-based brand Pretty Polly specializes in fashion-forward (and super fun!) tights like Rihanna's, but they also have ones with bows, leopard print, and ribbons. So. Cool. We're totally into the head-turning tights trend, but what do you think? Would you ever wear faux garters like RiRi?

Altuzarra For J.Crew Is Here!

We've heard nonstop chatter about CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Joseph Altuzarra collaborating with J.Crew on a 7-piece capsule collection, and *GASP* it's finally here. The "Brigitte Bardot in Saint-Tropez"-inspired collection is filled with tons of summery nautical stripes and totally work-appropriate wear with a "hint of French sex appeal." I'll say! The line ranges between $85 and $345 and features tons of summery staples including sweaters, skirts, dresses and wedges. We're totally loving the '60s cat eye sunglasses and the comfy striped cotton dress ensemble in his first look. We could literally wear that every day and pray that our bouffant looked nearly as effortless as hers in the humid summer heat.
