The video for "Shower," Becky G's perfect Fourth of July anthem, just dropped and we have the behind-the-scenes deets from the shoot. We know how Becky got #covermoment ready for the shoot (see above), how many earrings were on set, and more. So much more. Let's get started because there is a whole lotta BTS info to take in.
Becky's beauty look is all about "clean and fresh skin," so Sara, her makeup artist, used COVERGIRL Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation because it evens out her skin tone and lasts all day. For natural (but still shimmery!) eyes, Sara used Bombshell Shineshadow and COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers Palette in Coffee Shop. After her shadow is applied comes the most impressive part, IMHO—Becky does a cat eye using one hand to apply Bombshell Intensity Liner! I actually had to use my hands to shut my mouth after this part.
The video features three distinct lip looks—keep your eye out for 'em—so Becky and Sara share how they got the looks using COVERGIRL Colorlicious Lip Gloss. Finally, you'll notice Becky has a very cool two-tone manicure throughout the video, and that's all thanks to XL Nail Gel in bright pink and orange.
Want even more dirt on "Shower" (LOL, get it?)? You're in luck!
It's officially summer, everyone! To celebrate we rounded up a few of our favorite #covermoment worthy snaps from the past month. Between expertly lined eyes, glowing skin, and subtle lip color, the ladies below know what they're doing and show off their skills on Instagram on the regular. Y'all got your summer beauty game on lock—keep it up!

Three words: dat cat eye. Like, how many years did that take to perfect? How many YouTube tutorials were watched? @karinaisaevaisreal balances the thick liner with minimal makeup elsewhere—she keeps her skin and lips simple, which fully highlights the work of art on her eyes.
Happy last day of spring, y'all! Summer officially begins tomorrow, and we decided to celebrate with nail art, obviously. What better way to enjoy your first day of summer than with a manicure acknowledging the best fruit of the season? There is no better way, actually, which is why we're giving you the deets on how to do this melon mani for yourself.
You'll need a pink and a green nail polish—we used COVERGIRL XL Nail Gel in Plump It Pear and Whole Lotta Guava. For the seeds, we used COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss in Black Diamond. And for the white rind, we used COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss in Snow Storm.
Paint your nails using two coats of your pink polish. As you let your nails dry, think of how many different ways you're going to ingest watermelon this season—in drinks, in salads, in its true form, etc. Enjoy your refreshing thoughts.

Um, you guys, how gorgeous did Becky G look at last night's Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Latina Awards? We always love Becky's look, but this one is way more glammed up than we're used to seeing and we are feeling it, big time. Luckily for us (and you!) we are tiiiight with COVERGIRL and got the deets on her #covermoment-ready look from her makeup artist Jessica Smalls.
It feels like just yesterday we were doing the #covermoment Spotlight for Back To School, and now here we are at graduation! We made it, y'all. Whether you're graduating from high school, college, or just from one grade to the next, you'll want to make sure you close out your school year ready for a #covermoment. The three ladies below shared photos with us using #covermoment and they look fully ready for summer. Peep their gorgeous faces below!

Um, you guys, how incredible does @ivorystyle look for her graduation? Between her berry lipstick, perfect (yet subtle) eyeliner, and expertly curled hair, she could teach a course in how to make sure you look good at your graduation. We may have no graduations in our future, but we would attend anyway and sit in the front row.
Cop Katy's 'Dark Horse' look for yourself.

We've been keeping close tabs on Katy Perry's Prismatic World Tour because it is a light and costume-filled spectacle. If you're anything like us, you were wondering how Katy decided on what makeup to wear for her six costume and seven wig changes. Well, BBs, we got you covered and spoke to her makeup artist, Todd Delano. Todd told us that since the theme of the tour is all about "letting the light in," he and Katy decided that the COVERGIRL looks she wore on stage needed to be "fresh and classic so they transitioned seamlessly." Going from a jungle queen to Egyptian princess is no easy task, but Todd made it totally possible for Katy.
If you want to get Katy's look for yourself, we know exactly what you need.
Now that spring hath finally sprung, we are ready to update our everyday beauty game. It's time to swap our darker winter makeup for light, bright, and springy colors. Luckily, Aimee Song of Song of Style and her sister Dani feel the same way and teamed up with COVERGIRL for a spring makeup tutorial.
In the video, Dani gets Aimee fully ready, starting with her skin and ending with her nails. To make sure Aimee has flawless skin, Dani uses Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation and a TruBlend Fix Stick. From there she moves to her eyes, using the shades from a purple-y Eye Enhancers Palette. The shades included in the palette are, as Aimee points out, neutral enough for anyone who doesn't like color. Or, if you're like us, you can layer multiple shades for a flash of color. Dani then uses COVERGIRL Cheekers blush, adding extra to really make Aimee's cheeks pop. The final step is coloring her lips—she layers a LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm and Colorlicious Lip Gloss to make her lips look fuller.
In case you haven't checked Twitter and/or a calendar today, it's Cinco de Mayo! If you're looking for some nail art to celebrate, you're in the right place. We teamed up with COVERGIRL on a papel picado nail art tutorial that you'll want on your nails until at least May 15. Papel picado, for those who don't know, is a Mexican decorative craft made from cutout pieces of paper. They often feature birds, skeletons, and floral designs—we opted to include the latter. Check out the tutorial below and get your nails #covermoment ready!
You'll want to start to a blank canvas, so you should paint your nails a neutral color. Paint all of your nails using COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant nail polish in Forever Fawn.
You'll need strips of striping tape for the grid design, about three per finger. You'll want to apply them all at the same time so you don't mess up your polish while putting them on.
April, if you can believe it, is on its way out! Where did the time go, y'all? The end of the month means it's time for a few of our fave #covermoment submissions from the past 30 days and, wow, you guys brought it this month. Car-selfie submissions were at an all time high, which, based on the gorgeous pics we peeped, means cars are the perfect selfie venue. We saw more color and some very intricate eye makeup, so we know this summer is going to have some flawless looks. If you want to see your pic on covermoment.com and potentially on MTV Style, keep submitting your gorgeous faces with the hashtag. Happy May, everyone!

Whoa, @tjh3s is bringing it in this car selfie. That plum lipstick. The perfectly lined eyes. The strong brows. Those frizz-free waves! If we ever had our eye makeup, lipstick, and hair this perfect at the same time, we'd be sure to take #covermoment worthy selfies too.

Once you have your prom dress and accessories picked out, you need to shift focus to your beauty game. If you want to save some bills by doing your own nails for prom, we have some nail art for you to try. This negative space manicure only requires two polishes and is extremely straightforward. You can customize your two color choices to match your dress/makeup/shoes/bags/whatever you want. We used COVERGIRL Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss in Golden Opportunity and Skylight just because it's pastel and v. pretty. Peep the GIF tutorial (yay, GIFs!) below!

Paint your nails using COVERGIRL Crystal Clear. Because the middle of your nail will be exposed, the sheen will help tie the manicure together—it won't look like you managed to miss a spot 10 times.
