No time to wax, thread, or tweeze your brows this winter? You don't have to! According to brow guru Heidi Evora Santiago (she’s worked with Estelle and Eva Longoria) bushy brows are what’s in this season. Now, before you let your fringe grow all willy-nilly, remember it’s thick brows (see actresses Camilla Belle and Carey Mulligan above) that are trendy, not ungroomed brows. Read on for tips on getting a fuller-looking brow fast.

Chanel's Perfect Brows Kit, Neuveaubrow, Maybelline
Define-A-Brow Gel and the Anastasia Mini Duo Brush.

Thick Trick #1 Just as you would brush the hair on your head to stimulate the scalp, you should also brush your eyebrows upwards with an eyebrow brush like Anastasia Mini Duo Brush ($18, Sephora.com) every night before bed to stimulate hair follicles.

Thick Trick #2 To fill in brows for a natural look, use brow powder like the one found in Chanel's Perfect Brows Kit ($65, Chanel.com). Dip an angled brush into the powder, then make tic marks into your brows, mimicking small hairs. Next, blend the powder by brushing brows.

Thick Trick #3 If you’re trying to grow out sparse brows, use a brow gel like Maybelline Define-A-Brow Gel ($9.99, Amazon.com) to keep renegade hairs in place and looking polished (instead of wolfy).

Thick Trick #4 Though they're pricey, brow conditioners like Neuveaubrow ($100, Neuveaubrow.com) can help speed up the growth process by moisturizing the hair follicle with vitamins and nutrients and boosting the elasticity of individual hairs.

+ Do you like bushy brows?

Stock up now—tutus just might be one of the hottest trends for spring (point shoes not required). According to The New York Times, Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte (who created the costumes for Black Swan) aren’t the only designers with ballet on the brain. Pieces from the spring 2011 runway collections of Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander McQueen, and J. Mendel included everything from poufy miniskirts to shredded fabrics and feathers (sounds dancer-esque to us!). Plus, stores like Bloomingdale’s and ASOS are already selling the ballerina skirts. Not to toot our own trend-spotting horn, but we sort of saw this coming from a mile away. Remember?! And now, celebs including actress AJ Michalka, singer Katy Perry, and model Jessica Hart are rocking the tutu like it’s going out of style. But it’s not!

You may not know their names yet, but odds are by the end of 2011 these gorgeous/talented/stylish young women will be household fixtures. Meet singers like Glee star Amber Riley and actresses including Chloe Moretz, star of Let Me In--just two ladies in a crop of beauties poised to take the world by storm (and look ultra glam while they're doing it!).

AMBER RILEY: For a girl who tried out (and got cut) from American Idol, Amber isn't doing too bad for herself. This Glee girl's love for fashion isn't just an act either. Check out the red carpet-matching pumps she wore to the Glee season premiere!

HEATHER MORRIS: Initially a background character, Heather Morris became a Glee regular during the show's latest season. She stepped out front and center on the fashion stage, too—we especially loved the sparkly gold column dress that she rocked at last year's Emmy Awards.

VICTORIA JUSTICE: This Nickelodeon star (she's known best for Victorious but has also appeared on Zoey 101) has an acting and singing career under her belt, and this year Victoria even nabbed a Teen Vogue cover! When it comes to fashion, it's all about elegance for this brunette beauty—feminine frocks in romantic colors and pretty pleating details.

ZOE KRAVITZ: After she starred as the face of Vera Wang's Princess fragrance last year, Zoe Kravitz continued her modeling career with a campaign for Alexander Wang's affordable T-shirt line in 2010. And the actress (and spawn of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz) is certainly no stranger to high fashion—she showed off a number of ultra glam looks on the red carpet this year.

Sequins is having its time to shine, especially RIGHT NOW as we approach New Year's Eve—and we're not talking about just your run-of-the-mill black sparkle. This year's sequins comes in fun, vibrant hues, making it even easier for you to stand out in a crowd. If you want to look like a disco ball or a cast member on Dancing With the Stars, we won’t judge (promise!), but the general rule of thumb for wearing sparkle is to limit it to one piece per outfit. Here are a few more tips on wearing this hot trend, plus links to our fave bedazzled finds.

WEAR A CLASSIC SILHOUETTE: Plan on going all out in a sequins dress? Choose one in a basic shape like a shift. With all that glitz already going on, you really don’t need the extra bells and whistles (i.e. ruffles, pleats, puff sleeves).

Sequin Dresses

+ Sequin-embellished crepe dress by See by Chloé ($225.75, TheOutNet.com).
+ Samantha Sequins dress by French Connection ($247.37, FrenchConnection.com).
+ Morning Star Knits dress by French Connection ($298, FrenchConnection.com).
+ Desperately Sequin Susan dress by Fred Flare ($90, FredFlare.com).
+ Draped Back Sequin dress by Tibi ($380, ShopBop.com).

MIX AND MATCH: A little sequins goes a long way, so rock a standout piece, like a skirt or blazer, with something simple like a plain white tee.

Sequin Separates

Clockwise from left:
+ Adele Sequin Leggings by Young Fabulous & Broke ($112.50, ShopBop.com).
+ Sequin Jacket by Kensie ($128, Piperlime.com).

+ Merino Sequin Fringed Mini by J. Crew ($329.99, JCrew.com).
+ Premium Sequin Wrap Skirt by Topshop ($80, Topshop.com).

ACCESSORIZE IN SMALL DOSES: If you just want a hint of sparkle, slip into a funky pair of heels or flats, or team denim with a flirty clutch or scarf. Voila!

Each day, through New Year's Eve, we'll bring you a list featuring some of the most unforgettable looks of 2010.

For every outfit that has wowed us this year, there has been one that made us say (out loud), "WTF?!?!" But, we've come to realize that without brazen stars bold enough to push the style limits in wacky getups, there would be no driving force behind our favorite trends. If Ke$ha had never worn head-to-toe neon paint to the MTV EMA (and every place else), we'd probably not have felt as comfortable to rock the trendy bright pink lip look. So, as crazy as they look, we are thankful for these stars and their absolutely insane ensembles.

KE$HA: It has always been about glitter and body paint for singer Ke$ha (oh...and trash bags, too). At the MTV EMA where she got the award for Best New Artist, she wore a neon green leotard covered with large glitter specks and streaks of body paint from her forehead to her ankles, proving that you can wear them both at the same time.

LADY GAGA: Oh, the infamous Franc Fernandez–designed raw meat dress! Turns out the rare outfit Lady Gaga wore to the MTV Video Music Awards wasn't her first in 2010. She covered the October issue of Vogue Hommes Japan in an itty-bitty beef bikini.

TAYLOR MOMSEN: As if Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen's raccoon eyes and stripper-esque aren't wild enough...the Pretty Reckless frontwoman was spotted on multiple occasions (poor footsies) wearing seven-inch lucite tip jar sandals designed by Pleaser.

KATY PERRY: For her "California Gurls" video, singer Katy Perry wore "daisy dukes, bikinis on top, sun-kissed skin"...and a whip cream spraying bra?! Yep, and the whole look was "unforgettable."

Katy Perry squirts whipped cream from her bra in her 'California Gurls' music video.

M.I.A.: There's no denying that M.I.A.'s colorful burka, which was emblazoned with an image of her Maya album cover, was a controversial style selection to wear on the red carpet for Spike TV's Scream 2010 Awards show. But this, from the same British rapper/singer who has also worn neon blue wigs and googly eye glasses (at the same time), shouldn't come as a surprise.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA: Singer Christina Aguilera's MTV Movie Awards outfit included a sparkly bodice teamed with thigh-high boots and long fingerless gloves. The look seemed tame enough...that was until she started performing and the heart over her vajayjay started lighting up.

Christina Aguilera is seen backstage at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre on June 6, 2010, in Universal City, California.

LEIGHTON MEESTER: Here's the proof we were looking for showing that Leighton Meester can look hot in anything, even a potato sack—or a butt-revealing Marchesa jumpsuit. The Gossip Girl wore the lacy, off-shouldered number to the Harry Winston Court of Jewels Recreation launch in New York City, teaming it with a Marchesa sphere handbag and Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

NICKI MINAJ: The two-faced suit that Nick Minaj wore during her Hot 97's Thanksgiving Concert still makes us blush. The front of the outfit (designed by The Blonds) looked like a normal black silk suit, and the back was a nude bejeweled bodysuit.

RIHANNA: We're secretly sad that Rihanna has sworn off shoulder pads, because that means we won't see more garments like the pointy-shouldered, cleavage-showing green Alexandre Vauthier jumpsuit she wore for the Echo Awards in March.

MILEY CYRUS: Miley Cyrus strayed far, far, FAR away from her Hannah Montana persona while performing at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada. The singer/actress went for a scantily clad look, wearing leather short shorts, a cutout fishnet leotard, a rolled bandanna, and striped calf socks with booties.

Angelina Jolie recently took her style aesthetic to a whole new level by choosing luxurious, cozy fabrics to wear during a worldwide promo tour for her newest film, The Tourist (with a pit stop at the premiere of Megamind). From velvet and satin, to decadent wool, the actress/humanitarian/mother of six showed that what a garment is made out of can be just as statement-making (and a lot more important...i.e. WARM) as its cut and color.

VELVET IN PARIS:
Angelina wore a L'Agence embellished top and velvet blazer with velvet pants for the premiere of Megamind, which she attended with her stylish beau Brad Pitt, in Paris on Nov. 29. She finished the head-to-toe black look with matching Salvatore Ferragamo pumps.

ANGORA WOOL IN NEW YORK:
For the New York City premiere of her new movie, The Tourist, which she stars in with Johnny Depp, Angelina chose a floor-length angora gown from Atelier Versace. The waist-gathered white dress had a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit. Angelina completed the winter white ensemble in matching Ferragamo heels.

VELVET IN BERLIN:

VELVET + SATIN IN ROME:
Even though Angelina wears black often on the red carpet, she manages to make it fun each time! For the Rome premiere of The Tourist, Angelina mixed a velvet black Ferragamo blazer with satin pants. She made the menswear-inspired look feel feminine by wearing her hair down and applying a coat of bright red lipstick.

ANGORA WOOL IN MADRID:
During the Madrid photocall for her movie promo tour, Angelina rocked a black blouse tucked into wide-leg trousers. She finished her classic look with a white Michael Kors angora shrug and a gold Tiffany & Co. "Elsa Peretti" bone cuff.

Vanessa Hudgens on Yves Saint Laurent on Dec. 18, Keri Hilson on Dec. 22, Ciara in Christian Louboutin on Dec. 16.
Photo: Getty Images/WireImage

Black was anything but basic when it came to celebs' shoes this week. Stars favored the classic shade with standout embellishments and shiny finishes. Vanessa Hudgens stepped out in funky, chunky patent leather platform pumps by Yves Saint Laurent, while Keri Hilson went for gold studded peep-toe booties that really popped with her all-black jumper. We also loved Ciara's spiked Christian Louboutin stilettos with big bows that were fiercely feminine. This trio of heels was hardly run-of-the-mill, so which was your favorite?

The utility jacket, which we recently spotted on The City star Samantha Swetra, model Joy Bryant, and actress Rachel Bilson, is jockeying for position as the most versatile topper (over the jean jacket and blazer), and it just might earn that title. Sure, the practical piece is slouchy and super-casual, but it has the rare ability to anchor everything from ripped jeans and boots to floral dresses and Jimmy Choo pumps—just like a blazer!

AnnaLynne McCord, Leighton Meester, and Halle Berry are just some of the actresses who’ve recently brought the power suit trend from the 1980s back in a very modern and sexy way. By choosing well-tailored cuts, festive fabrics, and girly footwear, these ladies prove that sporting a menswear look can be just as flirty and feminine as a cocktail dress.

ANNALYNNE MCCORD: We love how structured AnnaLynne McCord’s look was for the People’s Choice Awards press conference on Nov. 9 in West Hollywood. Her gray tailored trousers pair perfectly with her poufy-sleeved shirt. The blue tie, crimson belt buckle, and red pumps add fun flashes of color to her otherwise neutral ensemble.

LEIGHTON MEESTER: For the Gotham Independent Film Awards, Leighton Meester opted for a traditional menswear look, choosing a black Thom Browne suit, which she wore with a classic white shirt and a loosely knotted tie. But the Gossip Girl actress kept it girly with Salvatore Ferragamo heels.

HALLE BERRY: Halle Berry opted for a Balmain suit from the label’s Fall 2010 collection when she attended the Frankie and Alice premiere in Los Angeles. The actress let her jacquard suit shine by choosing a simple black blouse and pumps.

Kate Middleton on Dec. 18.
Photo: Getty Images/Temperley London

Thanks to future-royalty Kate Middleton, it's now completely acceptable for grown women to want to dress like princesses. Today the term connotes stylish frocks and chic accessories, instead of poufy ball gowns and pink tiaras. Case in point: Kate wore a $1,393 cream and black silk chiffon Temperley dress with three-quarter length sleeves to a charity gala event with Prince William on Dec. 18. She accessorized with a velvet fitted blazer, sheer tights and a mini-clutch. Want to look like a princess for a day? Unfortunately, the long-sleeve Temperley dress from the designers Fall 2009 collection has sold out. But, you can get the look (and save some $$$) with Temperley's short-sleeve blush silk-chiffon look-alike ($897, TheOutNet.com). But you might want to hurry, princess!
