Kristin Cavallari And Kim Kardashian: Who Wore It Better?

Kristin Cavallari and Kim Kardashian stepped out in the season's hottest color — beige — when they both picked a nude dress by British designer Hannah Marshall (originally $1,275, but now sold out) for recent events. Kim Kardashian wore the fitted, leather top and pleated skirt shift to a magazine party in Hollywood, completing the look with a gold bow buckle belt and metallic sandals. Earlier in the summer, Kristin Cavallari of The Hills wore the frock sans belt, accessorizing only with white sandals and a python clutch by Kara Ross. Both ladies looked beautiful in beige, but we think Kim Kardashian takes this style matchup. Her belt gave the dress a great finishing touch, and we loved how her bold, gold earrings mixed with the nude color. But what do you think?

Top 10 Lipstick Colors For Fall

Sheer gloss had it's time to shine this summer. But, for fall, it's all about a bolder approach. The runways were awash with opaque fuchsias and oranges, and celebs — from Blake Lively to Nicki Minaj — are swiping richer shades onto their pouts to make a statement without saying a word. Experts agree: "This fall's hottest hues range from vibrant reds to soft neutrals," says makeup artist Sonia Kashuk. "We're seeing nudes with depth and dimension to highlight the face rather than mute the lips," adds Jason Garner, national makeup artist for DuWop. "Plus, there's this return of Old Hollywood with dramatic red lips re-emerging as a major trend," he says. Give yourself an instant makeover by puckering up to one of these top fall trends. Boots are inching their way above the knee this season, as witnessed by some of our favorite leggy stars. Christina Milian wore a beige pair with snake skin-patterned tights and a tan cropped jacket at Los Angeles Fashion Week. Ciara clipped her black leather boots to a sexy mini corset dress (smart move!) during New York Fashion Week. And Taylor Momsen stuck with her signature grunge look by teaming her tough footwear with gray sweater layers on the set of Gossip Girl. To ace this style, keep your boots in a neutral shade (steer clear of fire engine red or neon green) and make sure they complement something in your outfit — your top, your jacket, or your minidress. AJ Michalka, Halle Berry, and Heather Morris proved all that glitters is gold when all three ladies wore sparkly dresses for recent red carpet events. In September, AJ Michalka went for a sleeveless, embellished gold dress that had a basic scoop neckline for the premiere of Secretariat, and she paired it with satin, champagne-colored pumps. Halle Berry attended a Spike TV event last week in a strapless Reem Acra shift that was encrusted with huge sequin pieces and wore gold Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps to match. Meanwhile, Glee star Heather Morris chose a floor-length gown by Ina Soltani for the Emmy Awards in August. The Hills ladies love their little black dresses! The best part about this wardrobe must-have is how there are multiple ways to wear it. Stephanie Pratt took the sheer approach when she wore a see-through black dress from Topshop to the Los Angeles premiere of Middle Men (now sold out). Earlier this week, Audrina Patridge went for a more conservative look in a Stanton James mini dress, Brian Atwood peep-toe pumps, and a clutch by Kara Ross. And Kristin Cavallari showed off her shoulders in a strapless style by Betsey Johnson, which she wore for the designer's fashion show in September (now online, $278, BetseyJohnson.com). Adrienne Bailon and Kat DeLuna showed off their similar taste in clothes when both ladies wore an olive Lipsy London mesh dress ($80, Lipsy.co.uk) to recent events. Adrienne Bailon wore the strapless frock, which gathers at the waist, to the launch of MNG by Mango at JCPenney in New York last night, pairing it with black pumps and dangly earrings. Meanwhile, Kat DeLuna wore the dress last month to Carlos Miele's presentation during New York Fashion Week, and like Adrienne, also chose black pumps. Both ladies looked great in the mini, but we think Adrienne wore it best this round. Kat's bright orange nails and bold hoops were a bit much for the shift, while Adrienne's soft hair and sleek earrings complemented the dress just right. But what do you think?
